Best fish tacos I've had in the Bay Area. Red salsa is amazingly good. Little goes a long way in spice and flavor. Definitely will be coming back. Usually parked along ECR.

I've driven past Mariscos El Pariente a few times and finally stopped after walking by and checking out the menu. Prices are honestly hard to beat, especially for seafood. I ordered the aguachiles on a tostada for $6, which is crazy affordable. The shrimp tasted fresh, the sauce had a nice kick, and everything was balanced well. The tostada stayed crunchy and held up with all the toppings, which isn't always easy to pull off. Simple, flavorful, and satisfying. This is one of those low-key spots you might overlook, but it's worth stopping for. Solid food, great value, and exactly what you want from a roadside mariscos stand. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Service was excellent and truck was clean and decorated nicely.

Delicious and affordable! If you're craving some ceviche or seafood tacos you can't go wrong here. Everything tastes great

Been meaning to leave a review for this food truck. They only have seafood no meat. Their fish tacos are so good. The shrimp tacos are crispy tacos. They're on the corner of San Luis and El Camino. You can call ahead and order over the phone

The first I time tried shrimp tacos dorados was at Mariscos El Pariente and I've been hooked since. I always make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area. I always hope to see their truck when I'm diving down El Camino. The service is quick and you get a good amount of tacos for the price. They sometimes have chairs and a bit of shade but I usually take these tacos home to eat.

This out in the open gem continues to amaze my palet. If you like fresh seafood and friendly service, you have to visit team Mariscos El Pariente San Bruno! I have tried most everything on their menu but my go-to dishes are their tacos Dorados and Pescado.....yum!!

My coworker put me on to this food truck located in San Bruno on El Camino. We go every couple of months to get the Tacos Dorados, a rolled up tortilla with shrimp and fried with sliced avocado on top and some serious heat for red sauce on the side. Solid, 4.5 overall. I'm a fan. I also like to get a couple of fish tacos to go along with it. Solid breaded tilapia, pico de galla, avocado, mayo and secret sauce. Cost is fair at about $3 per taco. My coworker also likes to get the ceviche to take home, it's a plastic container filled with your favorite seafoods. When I tried it, it was really tasty. A container runs around $18. The service is solid, you order from the window and get your order within 5-10 mins depending on how busy they are. Parking is on the street, it's fairly plentiful and free. The furthest we've walked is about 1 block, maybe a block and half, but most of the time it's right near the truck. They do have plastic chairs to sit on if you want to eat there, but it's not comfortable. We usually grab and go back to the office.

Maybe it was an off day, but I didn't enjoy the shrimp tacos that they're famous for or the ceviche. The ceviche came off as very fish, and the fried shrimp mayo like tacos were even worse. They didn't taste fresh at all. You know that seafood slimy taste, that's what this tasted like. I ended up throwing it away in the trashcan because I didn't want to get sick.

The seafood is fresh and not frozen, from what I can tell. Today I had the tacos dorados and the tostada aquachile. The taco were crazy good and perfectly cooked. The taco shell was crispy, while the shrimp was not dried out! These tacos have to be the best thing on the menu. The Agua Chile, I hate to say, was below average. Yes there was plenty of fresh shrimp, but there wasn't enough juice and the onions were still raw. It seems like it may have been recently prepared, because the onions were harsh. The service was great. When I drove by, it seemed like they had a short line and I wasn't gonna stop. Four blocks away, I changed my mind, pulled over and called my order in. By the time I got there and parked, I walked up to the truck, paid and I was off. I'm definitely going to go by again for a third time. My heart is set on finding a tostada that I enjoy. And you better believe I'm grabbing some more of those tacos!

"Great hole-in-the-wall Mexican near SFO airport"…read more Came here for dinner at 6pm on a Monday night, based on good Yelp reviews. The place is unassuming-- has a thin stretch of outdoor seating and a handful of tables inside. Not super bright in lighting, and a TV inside was showing a baseball game. Seemed like a lot of the business was takeout, as people would come, hover, get food, and leave. I was GOING to order the fish tacos or a fish quesadilla, but I was swayed by the picture of a breaded fish plate special. My son got the carne asada quesadilla, and others at the table got a veggie burrito and a chicken bowl. Food came out pretty quick-- maybe around or just over 10 minutes (the fish plate and veggie burrito came out slightly after the other two). I was very impressed that the fish plate looked even BETTER than the photo (see photos of both). The fish was HUGE. There was a generous helping of guacamole, lots of fresh avocado slides, some onion and cabbage, etc. There was a nice bed of lettuce on the side with sour cream over it, and the rice & beans (covered with a thin layer of cheese) on another side. The fish plate was just delicious. The batter wasn't overpowering or too heavy, and the fish was excellent inside (and very flat). I really liked the sauce in a little cup on the fish, or having it with avocado or guacamole, or even straight. The rice and beans were yummy too. Such a great dish, and it was under $20 before tax and tip. My dining companions all liked their food, though my son said the carne asada meat was "just good" (he had a bite of the chicken and said that was better). The person at the register was friendly. And as mentioned, the prices were very reasonable. I'd happily eat here again if in the area. Great portion size, great quality, good value, etc. Enjoy!

The burrito had potatoes, but they weren't french fries. They were boiled potato strips. Kind of somewhat annoying when that's what I was looking forward to. FOOD: I usually go for the tostada de salpicon which is a mixture of shrimp and octopus or a coctel de camaron, but today I decided to change it up. I got the camarones à la española which is shrimp with a sliver of bell pepper, cheese and wrapped in bacon. In opinion, the slice of bell pepper was quite unnecessary, but regardless the dish was pretty good. I've also had their taco de asada but I upgrade to the arrachera meat which is skirt steak and soooo worth the $3 up charge. Comes in a hand made tortilla instead of the small street style one too. As we were sitting at the bar, I witnessed the bartender making drinks and they just didn't seem appealing. If you want an alcoholic drink, I'd suggest sticking with beer, shots of tequila or a michelada because like I said, the bartender didn't really look like she knew how to properly mix or make cocktails. SERVICE: On arriving, the lady had us sit wherever we wanted. We decided to sit at the bar as there was a small band playing there Saturday night. Service was attentive despite them being pretty busy that night. PARKING Can be difficult on the main street, but there always seems to be something available. It comes with two tostadas and plenty of crackers, which I appreciated since I prefer eating seafood cocktails with crackers. My partner is vegetarian and ordered three veggie tacos. They were large and filled with beans, rice, onions, cilantro, and salsa. He really enjoyed the flavors and even wanted to order more to go. They also provide complimentary chips and salsa, which were very tasty. Overall, we had a great experience and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

I will say though that there's not a lot going on with my burrito even though I ordered a super burrito. I also asked for some pico de gallo to be added to my burrito, but they forgot to add it. I ordered carne asada as the meat. The meat was pretty dry. I'm used to having juicier pieces of meat. There was also a smokey flavor to the meat, which I did not like. There was barely any sour cream in the burrito, plenty of rice, barely any salsa in it, the cheese was also veeeery little in there. I'm not sure how this place has so many high ratings. It was very underwhelming for my husband and I. Maybe we went at a bad time or the wrong day? Maybe the person making it was rushing? But I have definitely had better burritos.
