Pico de gallo was nasty. Not fresh at all. Burrito was California. The only thing good was the salsa

Over rated not worth it Cashier register with rude, not professional at all overpriced for a little burrito Only thing. Good was the salsa.

Hand made tortillas, good Adobada taco & In my opinion the best Asada taco in SD!They add beans to it, it makes it better

I really like this Taco Shop mainly on Tuesday because their Taco Tuesday is really worth going. Other days it can be a bit pricey considering their portions ain't that big but for Taco Tuesday their prices are great. Food, customer service & the vibe inside is good & I really like the famous Mexican paintings they got inside. I love their corn tortillas that's big when you judging a taco. My fav taco here is the Carne Asada, it's one of the better Carne Asada tacos I've had in SD, true story. Me & my family also love their Adobada tacos very flavorful, the other tacos are ok, the Cabeza needs flavor tho. And they have a great guacamole, we get a bowl of Guac with chips & it hit's the spot. You need to get their Roll Tacos they are legit, very fresh & crunchy my kids love them & they have a really good red & brown salsa. Overall it's a good Taco Shop me & the fam like & will continue to come mainly on Tuesday's of course for Taco Tuesday :)

I was excited about visiting this place since I had great results from their sister location in Logan Heights. I had three al pastor tacos for $1.50 each for their Friday and Saturday special. Then tacos were okay. I was disappointed that they pork meat did not come right off the vertical trompo which is the way it should, but rather is was heated on a hot griddle. That is huge because the meat was missing that charred flavor from the direct fire when it is on the trompo. The corn tortillas were inconsistent. Some parts of the tortillas were soft and others were kinda hard, especially the ends. The guacamole was very good. Service at the counter was good.

First time here for a breakfast burrito was pretty good a lil small but was really good.

    Carne asada fries

The tacos and the carne asada fries were delicious and fresh. The cashier that took the order was attentive and explained the menu. The restaurant is clean, modern and the music is in moderate volume, which gives a peaceful vibe. Good parking. We will be back for sure!

It was new years day, so may not have been the best time to come since they seemed short staffed. But ultimately food came at a reasonable time. Came for the carne asada fries, they were pretty good! Crispy thin fries, dollops of sour cream, guac and lots of cheese - the carne asada was bomb. The tacos we might have to come back to try. Ambiance was great, decor better than most taco shops. Plenty of seating and salsa available.

    Adobada Mulita.

Great artwork hanging on the wall and good customer service. We happened to be in the area and saw this place. Any place with a trompo in the name and logo has to have good adobada. I was right. The adobada is delicious with little bits of char on it from the fire. I definitely regret not getting two tacos instead of a Mulita. It was a little light on the meat and the tortillas on top and bottom were thick. They kind of overpower the meat. I also had a taco de cabeza. It was stuffed with super soft and tasty meat. Solid taco right there. To drink I had the aqua de Jamaica. It just tasted more like sugar water with a hint of Jamaica flavor. I like it better when it has a strong Jamaica flavor. Overall, this is a good place to eat. Next time, I'm getting tacos only though.

Exceeded my expectations! I work close to this taco shop and I have been wanting to try the food here for a while, I finally got the courage to do so today! I ordered the Jalapeño Fries. They were so good and full of flavor! They have grilled onions and jalapeños of course on top of carne asada, guacamole and sour cream. I plan to go back to try the TJ style tacos. 10/10 recommend this taco shop!

Tacos de carne asada and cabeza! They are the bomb! The meat is always tender, juicy, and delicious. The guacamole is like how your Tia makes it for the carne asadas. That's how good it is. Customer service ...the ladies are so sweet and go out of their way to make you visit the best. Ambiance is chill with Mexican music ...cmon now you can't go wrong!!! Taco Tuesday---y'all gotta come down! The aguas frescas are THE BEST!!!

I finished everything, that's how good it was.

Disappointed that my carne asada burrito was cold. They didn't even warm the meat or tortilla.

Race Tuesday is legit and the get don't skimp. Only issue is when you call in but other than that it's our go to for TJ style tacos.
