Worst tacos I have ever had. No flavor. Re cooked meat from 2-3 days. I would not recommend this Taco place. Not worth $14 burritos & $4.00 tacos.

Dogs waiting for owner to return and eat food together.

They allow people's dogs on the seats and tables to eat like they are human sharing the table. So dirty I can't believe they allowed this.. I watched the lady sit there and feed her dogs at the Table drooling on seats. Definitely a health issue. -Service and food are good though-

My go to place for tacos. They have lengua, cabeza, those types. it's a small place that has a nenu to match - small. Don't be fooled by the place, it is quaint but clean and well maintained. I normally order my food, eat it there, and leave after.

I was passing by and it looked inviting so I went and it's really good. The habanero salsa is delicious and got a nice kick to it.

Great tacos and delicious jericalla can't go wrong with stopping by and ordering a feast!

So far, so good. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Tamarind agua fresca is very nice for a hot day like today. I forgot to take a picture of the tacos but they were excellent. Two with asada and two with cabeza are what I had. Thanks so much for the great experience! I look forward to coming back!

I like stopping in and trying new spots in the area's where I am working... this restaurant was another great find while here in Downey, Ca. This small, but nice Mexican Restaurant (specific menu to Tacos & Menudo) was a good experience. I ordered the Lengua, Cachete, Asada & Lengua... all tasted very good. Meat was tender, flavorful and tasted fresh, made to order!!! Service was friendly & fast... not much to it. "Be friendly and kind, and Kind & Friendly you will get in return"... it works for me and that is as my experience here today! I enjoyed the food, the experience and will be back when in the neighborhood... I also recommend it to anyone close by to give it a try, you "will not" be disappointed ...

    Check out the meat!

The quality of their meat (carne asada) has decreased a lot! I have noticed within the past several of months but this was the last straw where I had to update my review for the Yelpers. Recently had some tough meat that I could not even chew through and the taste is not the same as before. On top of that, their tacos are much smaller. A little larger than a 1/2 dollar coin. Someone can probably scarf down one taco in one bite, definitely a two bite taco... that's how small they are now. Reason for the second star is because the prices have not changed or I would have updated to one star.

This place is legit. Tacos are tasty and they give you ALOT of meat.

It's in a big shopping center, which can be a bit of a mission to find parking, but honestly the food makes it worth it. Right when you walk in, the vibe hits you. It's a modern mariscos spot with cool indigenous-inspired designs and colors that give it a lot of character without feeling too much. We sat at the bar and David the bartender took care of us. Super friendly, knew the menu well, and helped guide us through what to order. He pointed us to the all day happy hour margaritas. Not gonna lie, we were skeptical because happy hour margaritas can be a big miss, but these were legit. The hamachi margarita was really well balanced, smooth, not too sweet, and easy to keep sipping on. My wife ordered the charbroiled octopus and it was really good. Cooked perfectly, tender with a nice char but not overdone. It came with cheesy potatoes that had a slight tang from the Mexican cheese, which actually paired really well with the octopus. It was a little cold out so I went with the caldo 7 mares. This one didn't hit the same. The broth was lacking flavor and the seafood quality just didn't match everything else we had. Even with that, I'd definitely come back. The drinks alone are worth it, especially if David's working, and next time I'm sticking with more of the charbroiled seafood options.

We've been coming here since they first opened, and the food has always been delicious. Over the years, we've seen a lot of changes, but the friendly service has remained consistent. One thing I've noticed recently is that the salsa served with the chips isn't the same as it used to be. It seems much more watered down now, which takes away from the flavor we used to enjoy. Another issue is the restroom situation. There is only one restroom stall, and on busy days the wait can be quite long. It can be inconvenient, especially when the restaurant is crowded. Overall, the food is still very good, and this restaurant holds many special memories for my family. I hope they consider improving the salsa and restroom accommodations to make the dining experience even better.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.
