For a beautiful sunday afternoon my fiancé & i got attended to really quickly. They look understaffed but they got to us with menus in a timely manner. The first impression were very exciting because they had a dj on hand & were playing reggaeton which was really fun to listen to while waiting & enjoying our food. The chilaquiles rojo with chorizo was overwhelming delicious. Maybe it was because i was starving or maybe it was just that amazing you got to try it yourself. The rojo sauce is flavorful & savory. The tortillas are very crispy & have a nice crunch. the chorizo was a 4 dollar add on as small the piece was it did elevate the dish. It comes with a side of rice & beans both very flavorful. My fiancé got tacos de marlin & he devoured those tacos. They come filled with lots of sautéed fish & a side of lettuce he got to put into the taco to make it a little more refreshing. Definitely a try. The jamaica we got is a pretty bitter than most jamaicas you'll get at other places but i think it being bitter compliments the food because i still downed the whole drink. We ordered micheladas, guacamole, tacos gobernador, ceviche de pescado with salsa verde, ceviche de jaiba with salsa negra, and spicy garlic pulpo. Everything was absolutely delicious, but the pulpo was hands down my favorite--packed with the perfect amount of spice and so flavorful! My sister got the mango tostada and the michelada with the shrimp and we all agreed it's one of the best miches we've had in a MIIIIIN ‍ the mango tostada was incredible, with just the right amount of spice I had La Chula Mixta, and this was my first time having callo de hacha and absolutely loved it! We have been to this place several times and we enjoy the food and drinks. The service has always been good. However today i was so disappointed with the service. They sat us outside in the patio, which was ok. They took our order pretty quick. The food didn't take too long to be served. The unfortunate part was when food was brought out we had to ask for utensils, extra plates and napkins. After that the waitress never came out to ask us if we needed anything else. We had to get up from our seats several times to ask for several things that we needed. Not once did they ask us if need more drinks or refills.
