Stopped by because my mom saw it & was craving tacos. The staff were super welcoming, especially the ladies up front... even when we realized they were closing in 38 mins. Small spot, but plenty of seating, & clean. My mom got their menudo & really liked it. She wants to come back to get it again with the pata since it wasn't available this visit. We also got some tacos. Asada, adobada, & tripas were our favorites. When looking around at other tables, all of their food looked soooo good! First visit with a couple coworkers for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was tasty. Not the absolute best Mexican food I've had, but better than many places and nothing was bad. I ordered the Combo #1 with a Cheese Enchilada & Shredded Beef Taco, served with rice and beans. My coworkers had the Shrimp Empanizado, a cup of Caldo de Pollo (chicken soup), and Two Chicken Mole Enchiladas. Everyone was happy with their selections and the prices were reasonable. This restaurant is located across the street from one of my job sites, so I'm sure I'll be back to try some other dishes. read more

Popped in for a little office lunch. Service was on top of it as they sat us quickly and took our drink orders immediately. The place has a very casual atmosphere with a jukebox on one wall. Now that we have found this spot this will be our go to Mexican food spot. We like to get it to go and they always take very good care of us. Came here looking for good menudo. When I arrived there was lots of people standing around waiting to pick up orders. Ordered menudo at a cost of $12. Broth was very light, with little to no flavor. Tortillas were not handmade and were just part of the meal. There was very little meat and hominy and was hard to spoon any with so much broth in the way. Taco special on Wedsnesday nights! This place doesn't look like much from the outside. Appearances can definitely be deceiving. The inside is small and has a definite charm. The employees are extremely nice and gave us great service. Chips and Salsa as a starter ...... perfect. Chips were warm and salty with what tasted liked homemade salsa. My boyfriend ordered the fried fish. It was interesting because it was an entire fish fried and seasoned with bones and all. He really enjoyed it because the flavor was good. He made fish tacos with it. I had the carne asada/enchilada plate. Portions were definitely big. My only complaint was there was too many grilled onions on the steak but I took some of them off. Everything was reasonably priced. You can't beat the hole in wall type places. The menu serves breakfast and lunch specials. There is also a small selection for kids menu. This place is one of those little hole in the wall mom and pop places around the corner that is pretty good. I love the food I feel like it's a good quality and well put together and good presentation, but the service lot to be desired. Food is a solid 4.5 stars Their service is what deserves 2 stars or less. Not one person spoke English and refused to communicate any other way. We never received our menus, we had to get up and get our own. No refills and we had to go to the counter to ask for someone to take our order. This place is so out dated been arround before the food boom began ! They are a mixture of 80s Mexican cuisine with the ingredients they were available back in the day! I would buy nachos from them evey once in a while because the only thing I like from them is the chips and salsa long story short they only give one salsa per order to go now days!!!
