Have been wanting to come here for so long and came a couple weeks ago during lent. The inside is smaller than I thought, but I also liked it because it wasn't too crowded or crazy. Really great location with plenty of parking as well. Decided on the Combo 1 to share and got crawfish and shrimp with the head off and swapped the sausage for more corn/potatoes and got it in their atomic sauce with light spice. The sauce was really good and added so much flavor to the shrimp and veggies. I also ordered the fried fish with garlic fries. The garlic fries were so delicious. Very garlicy, but I love that. Portions were really good that my husband and I got full and even had leftovers. It was a really great deal for the price and I enjoyed dining here. Nothing special and quite similar to other similar establishments. Service was OK and there was no waiting. Opted for the Porboy sandwich which was a little dry. The gumbo soup was delicious. Stopped at Bag O Crab, one of the many seafood boil spots I have tried. Got me a pound of shrimp with the works, sausage, corn and the second to last spice level. The sauce didn't have that kick, especially with 12 sauces they say it has in it. The sausage was quality though. Overall the bag was good though. The fries were pretty basic, nothing special at all. We had a great experience at Bag O' Crab. We ordered to go, two seafood boil bags with all the sauces, one "not so spicy" and one mild. The seafood bags were really enjoyable overall, though I will say the "not so spicy" still packed more heat than expected for me. Flavor was on point, just spicier than anticipated. We didn't realize tasty pot and this place were connected! We wanted something different from tasty pot so we went next door to try this place. They sat us down in tastypot but brought us a different menu for the Bag O'Crab place. The place itself was very clean as it is the same place as tasty pot. The service was the same as tastypot, fast and efficient! They brought the food out to us within a few minutes. I had the shrimp and crab bag with garlic butter and cajun spice. It reminded me of a less intense version of kickin crab which was a welcome flavor! The restaurant is clean and mostly empty on a Tuesday night. We came here and ordered a couple of combos, which is the better deal than ordering a la carte. For appetizers, avoid the GARLIC NOODLES and Cajun WINGS. The garlic noodles were made with fettucine noodles instead of egg noodles. They lack flavor and the texture isn't there. The wings are breaded then fried. This gives them a bready coating. I would compare this to a step below sizzler wings if you know what I'm talking about. They are on the smaller size which didn't help. We ordered the following seafood in Atomic sauce medium spice. I got a side of their on fire XX and it wasn't that spicy. They do include a lot of chopped garlic compared to The Boiling Crab. I miss the old boiling crab days of tons of sauce/garlic and they didn't overcook the shrimp. Crawfish - Out of season as of November. The crawfish head wasn't juicy and had a watery flavor, the meat was poor quality (soft texture and dry). I'll have to give it another try when they are in season. Shrimp - Heads were delicious and the meat was firm and bouncy. Not overcooked like boiling crab. We had 2 lbs and only had maybe 1-2 mushy shrimps. I would recommend going with this. King crab - Overall good, nothing special The corn was overcooked but still good. I really enjoyed the sausage, which was snappy, flavorful, and good textured. No one wants to eat a cheap baloney type sausage. read more

This place is absolutely AMAZING easily the best seafood boil we've ever had and without a doubt the best in the area! My partner and I come here every couple of weeks because nothing else compares. The sauce is flavorful and perfectly balanced thick but not too heavy and the minced garlic is spot on every time. The garlic fries are cooked to perfection, crispy and packed with flavor. We've always been die hard Boiling Crab fanatics so it was our mission to find a seafood boil spot on our new town. After trying several different locations around Rancho and Fontana, I'm so pleased to share that we found our new spot. Personally I enjoy the sauce to have chunks of garlic not that puréed garlic sauce. Bag O' Crab has that kind of garlicky yummy goodness in the atomic sauce. They also have really good combos. The Combo 1 is our go to which consists of choosing two seafood options (1 lb each) and includes two corns two potatoes and four sausage slices for $31.95!! Amazing bang for your buck! Location: This restaurant is located off of fourth St. close to Milliken. The location is quant and seats about 30 people . They offer Tv with closed captions. Tonight they had Monday night football on! The restrooms were very clean. Service: We were warmly greeted and seated right away. The wait time was about 20-25mins. There was a kitchen staff of two plus our waiter however that did not affect the service as it was exceptional speedy service. Food: I ordered the medium level sauce which was the perfect amount of spice &flavorful for me with tons of garlic and butter. shrimps were a large size. The food was piping hot, definitely fresh to order! The sausages and corn had great flavor. The rice was fluffy and steaming hot! The price point and the quality of the food is really good. It is worth coming here to try their seafood. I ordered 1 lb of shrimp with sausages and a side of rice. We also got the cajun fries. The sauce was delicious, not too salty or watery. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. Some places often overcook their shrimps so it becomes mushy, but this place did not do that. I had bag of crab once's before, so when I came back this past Tuesday to celebrate my sisters birthday I was pretty excited. But boy I ended the night extremely disappointed. I came with a total party of 6 people, ordering 3 bags (3 combos) total and all 3 were just bland. After the bags initially came out, all of us just dipped a pinky into the bags to taste the sauce, and it just tasted of solely butter. We asked for extra cajun sauce, letting them know that the food wasn't flavorful, after a small container sauce of cajun seasoning, all the seafood bags still tasted really bland. We asked for another container of sauce, before the server could come out with another, the owner came out to wonder about what we asked for. We also let her know that the food was bland, but I think she didn't understand that even tho we all ordered atomic, which is just a blend of all the sauce options, it was still bland. My favorite seafood boil spot! The flavor is on point here. I got the Atomic (all the flavors mixed into one) and it had the perfect kick , even for Mild. What makes this place stand out is the flavor and the numerous garlic chunks in the bag. All of my friends had so much garlic in their bags too. Each piece was soft and it tells you they put a lot of seasoning into their sauce. The head on shrimp were juicy and yummy. The fries were good too. They have great combo deals. First time trying Bag O' Crab and it was a good experience. The food was really good, but I wasn't a fan of the lobster roll. It was just decent, it had maybe a little bit too much Mayo for me. However, the Cajun chicken wings that I ordered was absolutely AMAZING!!! The flavor was on point and I'm happy I decided to go with the 10 piece and not the 6! The chicken was made with perfection and seasoned so well. Honestly I will drive here just for the wings. I like how they even how bottle of beers, and different lemonades. I decided to order a Modelo Negra, which went well with my chicken wings. The service was very good! It was crowded on the actual restaurant side, so we went next door and sat to dine. They work together so you can order either menu on any side. They were accommodating since we had to be somewhere at a certain time, and were attentive at all times. It's located right next to Lazy Dog in the same parking lot, so it's easy to find. Also, across the street from Ontario Mills Mall. Good location and very clean inside. It's just very small inside with about 7 tables, which explains the motive for us sitting at their sister restaurant. Overall, I will definitely be back to try other options on the menu. Crab legs were meaty, shrimp were pretty big, and the portions for the really crunchy fried fish and garlic noodles were very generous! I do wish the noodles had more garlic. But since I pretty much doused everything with the sauce, that made the noodles pretty tasty hehe. The food came out piping hot! We came a little early for dinner so there wasn't a wait and our food for a party of 4 came out very quickly. From the rice, fries, and bags of seafood, everything was hot! We had to wait a few minutes so that we didn't pour hot lava on our tongues. Everything was worth the wait though! Interestingly enough, they share a kitchen with the hot pot restaurant next door so they made use of their space efficiently by seating different parties in each restaurant. We ordered the combo #2, which came with a lb. of snow crab legs and a lb of shrimp, and the corn, potatoes and sausage and added a lb. Of mussels. (Highly suggest if you're larger eaters that you get two bags, as this was split between two in the party and they were both still hungry.) But they really enjoyed the meal though! They ordered mild spicy and Louisiana style, it was plenty spicy and very tasty! Other two at table ordered the chicken katsu plate, and the garlic shrimp plate. These are Hawaiian style, with cabbage and white rice, and a huge scoop of macaroni salad. The katsu is also served with a curry sauce to sip in. They were both delicious and recommended if you're not wanting to get messy with the seafood boil. The garlic shrimp on the plate was so good, just like a Hawaiian street trucks. I'd definitely go here again, but need to do an add on of the noodles, rice, bread or other sides, and double up on the seafood. Bag O' Crab is located in a shopping center across from Ontario Mills. There is plenty of parking and features indoor seating only . The restaurant is on the smaller side so it's best to keep your group small (2-4 people). Also be mindful of their hours - they close for a lunch break and reopen again at 4:30. The facility is very clean and bright with small tables and one sided booths. We went with the #3 - atomic sauce which was perfect for two of us . The sausage was so juicy and everything was amazing - especially when smothered in their sauce! Their atomic sauce was FULL of chunky pieces of garlic which we were drooling over ! We also tried their garlic noodles as this isn't an item I typically see at seafood boils and they were yummy ! I'm definitely going to opt for the lemon pepper fries next time! We paired our lunch with a cold Corona and lots of limes. I do wish they had draft beer - we love having a cold pitcher at seafood boils! Service was great , our waitress was attentive and sweet . Their lobster roll several months ago didn't impress me. But at that time I noticed that you could also order bags of seafood by the lb so the other day I decided to give them a try. They are somewhat more expensive then other places that offer the same services. But I ended up getting 3 lbs of shrimp with no head, 2 lb of clams, 2 lb of mussels, a lb of crawfish, and several pieces of corn, potato and sausage. All of it in their mild butter garlic sauce. It only took about 15 min for it to be ready, which is great. Driving home the aroma I was getting in the car was amazing, I really looked forward to getting home as fast as possible to start eating. They separate the sausage, corn, and potato from the sauce and seafood. Initially, I thought there wasent enough sauce to really coat everything. But at the end I was left with more sauce than anything else. But everything was really good. Shrimp was cooked to perfection. So we're the mussels and clams. Each shell I picked up from the sauce just had so much garlic and sauce in them. Flavors were really good!! You really get the taste of the garlic. And also the butter flavor really comes thru as well, really elevating the seafood taste. Overall this place knows how to do a crab boil. Granted, I didn't get any crab because it was expensive. But the flavors of the sauce and the quality of the other seafood was pretty great.
