Exceptional Food & Service! If you are looking for an incredible meal, you have to check this place out! From the moment you walk in, the customer service is top-notch--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, but the real stars of the show are the quesitos. I'm obsessed with the shrimp and steak tacos; they are served on homemade tortillas with perfectly melted cheese. Every bite is packed with flavor. This place is so good had to write a review since this is our fourth time coming back.

First time coming here and I had a lunch with a good friend of mine and this was a mid point for the both of us. Omg was this place such a hidden gem! Food came out within minutes from ordering and everything is made in house including the tortilla chips. Their sauce to compliment with the chips are also homemade. They have all sauce to accommodate your level of spice intensity. I tried every one of it and there was no bad one. Just different preferences! The shrimp was butterfly cut and you definitely can taste the freshness. They are huge and was very generous in the amount they gave. Cost was only $22. Avocado was fresh and you can definitely taste the difference. I couldn't rate the shrimp empanada because I was too full after my meal and will eat it later, 10/10 for quality of food The ambiance is super fun and very uplifting. Can definitely bring few friends here. They have few tables that holds up to 6 and some dine in booths holding 4 people. The customer service was great! We kept being followed up to ensure we were being taken care of. I really appreciate how everything came together and will definitely be coming back

From the parking lot, this place looks small, but when you step inside, it's huge!! Great for big groups. Our server was on top of her game. She was attentive and personable. She got our drink order and chips right away. She checked on us regularly, but not too much. We ordered shrimp ceviche, taco gobernador, oysters and fish taco. Each item was delicious. I asked for guacamole (not on the menu) but our waitress prepared it for us and it was perfect. They have music playing all the time, but it is not loud and overpowering. Good music, good service, good food. Come here!!!

The new owners are very welcoming and helpful with all the suggestions. This place doesn't fail us every time we come. Fresh delicious seafood! I always order Shrimp ceviche tostadas and never go wrong with them. Campechanas are delicious and fulfilling. Their fresh waters are a must when you come here! We always order the fresh Lemonade water and also the coconut water. They are very refreshing! Today we tried the Marlin taco with cheese and it was tasty! This is a nice relaxing place to bring your family.

*Under new ownership since 2024 My husband and I would come here when we're dating, we stopped coming for a while but heard it was under new management and it's soooo good! We had tacos de marlin, tacos gobernador, ceviche de pescado and camarón. The service was great. Our waitress was on top of service and very friendly. I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Licenciado, and I can confidently say it has AMAZING seafood! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, friendly service with cultured music (Sinaloa style, IYKYK). The menu was a seafood lover's dream - fresh, diverse, and creatively prepared. I was surprised to see that they had tacos. The tacos are marlin, fish, shrimp and tacos gobernador (which are my absolute favorite.) My family is from Sinaloa is the is the closest I've gotten to authentic taste. Will definitely be returning.

The service was great and is under new management the staff makes you feel at home and they actually enjoy talking to you. Mariscos Licenciado #2 has a great selection of seafood. We enjoyed the micheladas, aguachile, shrimp and octopus cocktail, ceviche tostada, and fish taco--everything was delicious and full of flavor. The only issues were that the shrimp in the cocktail had not been deveined, and when I requested a warm cocktail, I was served a cold one instead. Aside from that, the service was good, and the food was flavorful. Overall, a great experience. read more

This place is actually called Moscin_tacos They would have a pop up in Pomona before and it was my go to for Marlin tacos and other tacos but I found they opened a sit down in the OC. Vine a este restaurante de mariscos have unos años y hoy decidimos pasar a ver si todavía seguía aquí. Me dio mucho gusto encontrarme con que ahora tiene nuevos dueños y estan en convertirse en MocSin Tacos and Seafood. Las micheladas están riquísimas, las preparan con clamato y vienen bien grandes. My co-worker and I recently discovered this place. It's such a Gem! The food is amazing and the ambiance is so welcoming. The service was fantastic. We ordered to-go and ate it at work. I ordered ceviche with mango, and it was absolutely incredible! The sweetness of the ripe mango perfectly complemented the tangy, fresh, slightly spicy seafood, creating a delightful burst of flavors in every bite. The ceviche was perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of citrus and spice. Do not skip on this drink everyone! The coconut water drink was phenomenal. I'm still thinking about it. It was hydrating and had the perfect balance of creamy sweetness. It was the ultimate tropical pairing. We also ordered the shrimp empanadas which were warm cheesy and packed full of shrimp. Everything is made fresh & you can absolutely taste the difference. I always order mine with a sugar rim. It's consistently refreshing, balanced & incredibly smooth. We stopped by on a Monday around 4:30 p.m. just before happy hour ended. It was nice & relaxed when we arrived. It only started getting a little busier as we were leaving. We took advantage of happy hour & ordered a few favorites. The potato taquitos have been one of my go-to menu items for years & are just as delicious as I remembered. Crispy on the outside, flavorful inside & served over a generous bed of fresh guacamole that makes every bite even better. We also tried one of the newer happy hour items the short rib mini burrito served with a green sauce. Both my husband & I really enjoyed it. The short rib was tender & the sauce added the perfect amount of brightness. I was happily snacking on the chips with the molcajete salsa. It's one of my favorite restaurant salsas. I also love the chips with Puesto Perfect guacamole. It makes it hard to stop eating. Since it was my birthday I treated myself to a Tropical Candy Shot. If you like bold flavors definitely order one. It reminded me of a Mexican street candy in shot form with a Tajín rim & a pineapple garnish. It was festive, flavorful & the perfect birthday treat. The sweetest surprise of the evening was the complimentary birthday dessert. A slice of pistachio tres leches cake. I love tres leches but I've never had a pistachio version before. It was incredibly moist & rich without being too heavy. The pistachios added the perfect crunch & nutty flavor. It was one of the highlights of the meal. One small detail I always appreciate is that they bring a pitcher of water to the table. This makes it easy to refill your glass throughout the meal without waiting. It's a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience feel more comfortable. I'm so glad we came back after not visiting for quite a while. I love the consistently amazing margaritas, delicious happy hour menu, & warm hospitality. The thoughtful birthday surprise made it even better. It was a wonderful way to celebrate. I'll definitely be back! If you're visiting for the first time do yourself a favor & order the Puesto Perfect Margarita & potato taquitos. I originally discovered Puesto through the Crazy, Wild Taco Night event I attended earlier this year, and it's nice to know that their restaurant offerings maintain their quality even outside of the competition setting. We ordered chips and salsa, esquite, non-alcoholic passion fruit margarita mocktails, filet mignon tacos, surf and turf tacos, and a grilled shrimp taco. I think I would skip the grilled shrimp taco next time, but the other two tacos were great and the 50% off price point made them even tastier. Our host and server were both very friendly, and we enjoyed the meal. Free self parking is available for two hours with validation from the restaurant.

My biggest concern, however, was what I witnessed with the condiments. When you order menudo, they bring a plate with limes, onions, and chili. I watched two employees clear tables, throw away some items, but keep the unused onions and uncut lime wedges from customers' plates and take them back into the kitchen to be served again. Even if I didn't use all of the onions or limes, that doesn't mean I didn't touch them. Reusing food that has already been on a customer's table is unsanitary and unacceptable. After seeing that, it made me wonder whether other items, like leftover chips, might also be reused. Whether or not that's the case, what I witnessed was enough to make me lose confidence in their food handling practices. Unfortunately, I won't be returning

I really loved the shrimp ceviche here. Each piece of tostada was covered and already seasoned and limed. It was fresh and had tons of shrimp pieces. The fish tacos were also amazing. I used some of the mayo and fresh limes they gave me. The fish was soft and delicious. They have a house sauce that I really loved; it was not spicy and had a look of spices that reminded me of a slight Tajin taste. It went well with everything I ordered. The Molcajete was a showstopper, but everything was muy, muy Bueno. Thank you Jesse, Brenda and staff for a fabulous meal, and for making us feel so welcome.
