I was craving ceviche and happened upon this place on Yelp. When I entered, I noticed they had a jukebox where you can put in money to play songs; this place probably gets lit on the weekends. There are also plenty of TVs with sports and news on. I really loved the shrimp ceviche here. Each piece of tostada was covered and already seasoned and limed. It was fresh and had tons of shrimp pieces. The fish tacos were also amazing. I used some of the mayo and fresh limes they gave me. The fish was soft and delicious. They have a house sauce that I really loved; it was not spicy and had a look of spices that reminded me of a slight Tajin taste. It went well with everything I ordered. I've had a few of the items, but always gravitated to their shrimp ceviche and smoked marlin tacos. Yeah, I said smoked marlin. Shrimp ceviche tostada topped with sliced avocado. A little lime and Tapatio, mmm. Smoked marlin tacos mixed w vegetables and stuffed into a toasted flour tortilla, topped with cheese, salsa and crema. These will keep you coming back. You can get this for yourself, or to share with others. They give extra limes on the side in case you want to add more to the ceviche. I'm a big fan of ceviche and I've actually come to Mariscos Mocorito a few times already throughout the years. What I love is the shrimp ceviche and the taco de marlin. I would say those are their best items in my opinion. Their micheladas are excellent. Some of the cons are that the service and ambiance are not the best and the restaurant was very cold the last time I went. The servers are not very friendly. Our server actually dropped some cucumbers from our dish on the floor and then didn't replace them. The avocado on my tostada de ceviche was also pretty hard :/ I appreciate businesses having ACs, but the day I came it was freezing. read more

We come here because we really like their Shrimp Cocktails. We, however, have decided not to come back. You walk in and no one acknowledges you, it takes over 15 mins to maybe have one of the girls take your order. We always have to get up and place our order at the counter.
