    Tacos for 5$ really ?
    Kety E.

The prices for the fish tacos are insane 5$ they have it advertised 2.00 each on their website . When I asked the lady why the have different prices she just laugh . The fish is over cooked probably from Days ago .

The food was authentic Mexican style and estaba sabroso! (It was tasty!) My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday around 12 pm. We waited for a table, but the turn around was fast. The food was ordered at the register (CASH ONLY). And the food was brought to the table. The server, who also happened to be the cashier (Potential Bottleneck), brought us complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered 2 large Coctel de Camaron (shrimp cocktail), 12 Pata de mulas (blood clams), 6 oysters, and 2 aguas frescas. We paid around $51. There were a lot of shrimps in the cocktail. Overall, the food was delicious and the food was brought to us quickly. We want to go back to try the Caldo de Mariscos!

So I haven't been to this spot in over 7 years.... Since I moved out of the area... Was in the area and remembered the good shrimp cocktails here.... Large shrimp cocktail had plenty of large shrimp... Glass was packed they sure don't skimp on the shrimp here..... Came with some avocado on top and limes, and crackers on the side plus tapatio to spice it up!! Extensive fish dishes here tooo.... Fish tacos are goo and they pile on the fish Overall the service is great... They bring u fresh ships and salsa to your table... No beer at this spot but that's ok... Will def be back again to this spot soon especially during lent and summer time!!!!

    Fish Ceviche

The Ceviche tasted pretty good but destroyed my stomach. I was excited to try this place because of all of the stars but boy did I pay the price! The Ceviche had a bit of a fishy smell that I looked over- NEVER AGAIN will I do that. Took about an hour for the bubble guts to kick in. I'll spare you the details but I'll just say- I spent the rest of the night at one with my bathroom :(

Don't judge a book by its cover when you come here as this small and divey hole-in-the-wall in a not-so-great neighborhood doesn't look like much but they have DELICIOUS AND VERY FRESH SEAFOOD that makes me come back again and again! My Mexican friend recommended this place so I know it's authentic and legit. I always order the shrimp ceviche or mixed seafood cocktail with avocado slices on top. My mom ordered the grilled fish filet with garlic cloves one time and she was pleasantly surprised by the taste and freshness of the fish. Their food comes with complimentary chips and salsa. It's almost $30 for 2 ceviches/cocktails. I want to try their 7 seas soup next time. I bet it'll be bomb! By the way it's CASH ONLY so come prepared.

    Still yummy!

The waitresses were so pleasant and attentive the entire time. Now let's talk about the food... 10/10. We ordered aguachiles, mango shrimp ceviche, tacos gobernador, camarones rancheros, and enchiladas. Every single dish was well seasoned, juicy, fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. Definitely worth coming back for.

A Hidden Gem for Fresh Seafood & Family Vibes!…read more We visited Marisco Corona as a party of six--four adults and two toddlers (under 3)--and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Despite it being a busy spot, we were seated right away, which is a huge plus when you have little ones in tow! The Drinks & Starters We started with the Horchata and the Pineapple Water (Agua de Piña). Both were refreshing, authentic, and clearly made with care. If you like traditional Mexican drinks, these are a must-try. The Food Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and felt incredibly fresh. A standout for us was the homemade corn tortillas--you can really taste the difference! Our table shared: * Mojarra & Pescado al Mojo de Ajo: Perfectly cooked and seasoned. * Lobster Plate: Succulent and generous. * Surf & Turf Tacos: These were a highlight! Loaded with carne asada and creamy guacamole, then topped with perfectly grilled shrimp. Each plate comes with rice, beans, and a side salad, but they are super flexible--we were able to substitute fries for the rice and beans on some plates, which is great for picky eaters or just a change of pace. Service & Atmosphere The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center, so parking was easy to find, which takes the stress out of the arrival. Even though the dining room was buzzing and busy, our waitress was incredibly nice and the entire staff was well-attended to our needs. Bottom line: If you're looking for delicious, flavorful seafood in a family-friendly environment, Marisco Corona is the place to go. We will definitely be back!

Love seafood and the whole works. I heard they even offer you a bib, to get messy, which I am so down for. Anyway, same thing happened at this restaurant. A confidential envelope was posted on the door and we were not able to get in. Both sides of the doors were locked. Some other mail was on the ground and 2 were inside the restaurant. I don't know what is going on with both Oliva and this Crab House restaurants? It was dark inside as I snooped to see what the place looked like, was not able to see anything, except one side of the restaurant the chairs were placed on top of the tables. Again, either they are going out of business, or sold the restaurant to someone else. We dialed their number, no answer, left a message (twice), and no one called us back! Even until today. What a shame!! Was so looking forward to it. We were there on the 7th of this month at 12 noon. My friend drove all the way from Tarzana so we could have had lunch, but both restaurants let us down..

That side is named Kusina Ni Kuya and has a vast catering menu. I came here for a carry out from the Cajun side and picked as I did before, the half pound shrimp. The only difference is this time, I opted for the peeled version. This was prepared in the house Kuya sauce, medium spicy, with an extra of boiled okra. The dish did not disappoint and was consistent in texture and flavor, and a glorious mixture of spices as before. This entrée has a lot of oil added to it, but that is what brings out this burst of taste and satisfaction. Everything was soaked with the thick sauce. This time what I did at home was, I boiled a few golden premium small potatoes with skin, sliced them into quarters and added it to the mix. Once it soaked up the gravy of the shrimp dish, the potatoes ascended to a totally different level. So how does the peeled version compare to the whole shrimp version? I would say that the whole shrimp selection is the way to go. The meat is not overcooked and you get the flavor off the shrimp shells too, that kicks it up more than a notch. In addition, the fact that you have to use your fingers to get to the shrimp meat (though messy), heightens the pleasure of the dining experience.
