So I haven't been to this spot in over 7 years.... Since I moved out of the area... Was in the area and remembered the good shrimp cocktails here.... Large shrimp cocktail had plenty of large shrimp... Glass was packed they sure don't skimp on the shrimp here..... Came with some avocado on top and limes, and crackers on the side plus tapatio to spice it up!! Extensive fish dishes here tooo.... Fish tacos are goo and they pile on the fish Overall the service is great... They bring u fresh ships and salsa to your table... No beer at this spot but that's ok... Will def be back again to this spot soon especially during lent and summer time!!!!

The food was authentic Mexican style and estaba sabroso! (It was tasty!) My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday around 12 pm. We waited for a table, but the turn around was fast. The food was ordered at the register (CASH ONLY). And the food was brought to the table. The server, who also happened to be the cashier (Potential Bottleneck), brought us complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered 2 large Coctel de Camaron (shrimp cocktail), 12 Pata de mulas (blood clams), 6 oysters, and 2 aguas frescas. We paid around $51. There were a lot of shrimps in the cocktail. Overall, the food was delicious and the food was brought to us quickly. We want to go back to try the Caldo de Mariscos!

The Ceviche tasted pretty good but destroyed my stomach. I was excited to try this place because of all of the stars but boy did I pay the price! The Ceviche had a bit of a fishy smell that I looked over- NEVER AGAIN will I do that. Took about an hour for the bubble guts to kick in. I'll spare you the details but I'll just say- I spent the rest of the night at one with my bathroom :(

Don't judge a book by its cover when you come here as this small and divey hole-in-the-wall in a not-so-great neighborhood doesn't look like much but they have DELICIOUS AND VERY FRESH SEAFOOD that makes me come back again and again! My Mexican friend recommended this place so I know it's authentic and legit. I always order the shrimp ceviche or mixed seafood cocktail with avocado slices on top. My mom ordered the grilled fish filet with garlic cloves one time and she was pleasantly surprised by the taste and freshness of the fish. Their food comes with complimentary chips and salsa. It's almost $30 for 2 ceviches/cocktails. I want to try their 7 seas soup next time. I bet it'll be bomb! By the way it's CASH ONLY so come prepared.

an easy 5 stars. When you walk into this place you know that you're about to get something super legit. Small joint. No frills. No credit card machine. CASH ONLY so be ready for that. Waitresses are super awesome and nice. They give lots and lots of saltines with their cockteles and their chips and salsa are great... well their salsa is great, chips are passable. Shrimp cocktele was okay. There wasn't as much flavor as I wanted but you could tell that it was nice and fresh. I would have preferred more flavor and I would have preferred tostada shells vs. saltines. So why 5 stars then???? The mother F*@#ing FISH TACO! YUM!!!! Easily the best I've ever had in LA. The fish was a little broken up but I got "To-Go" so i'm going to assume that it's not broken up when you eat it right there. The flavor of the fish is very good. The cabbage is sliced thin enough that it works as the perfect topping. (I hate when the cabbage is too thick that it's no longer crispy and light, rather hard and dense.) The crema is perfect and brings it all together. I've been thinking about these tacos for the past three days. I may just go and buy some later this week because I'm craving it that bad...

    Still yummy!

Still Yummy 7 years later! A bit more pricey but so is everything! Try it all you will not be disappointed.

In my head I'm like "how do you not have it on the meñu but yet sell it ?" I didn't make it a big deal but for some reason she seemed annoyed. I also asked one of the other servers if they can bring a lemonade for my daughter, she had said yes she can do that. But.. We got our food 35 mins later (keep in mind it was one plate) we were waiting on. & we still hadn't gotten our lemonade I had asked for. The cook brought us our plate & he was nice and asked if we needed anything else. I said " I asked one of the servers for a lemonade and it still hasn't been brought." & he mentioned he would let them know. Then the server comes back with an attitude and places it on the table, not even a word said. I even thanked her multiple times and nothing was said, no "you're welcome" or anything. She never even checked up on us or asked if we needed anything else. If you can't handle being a server why even work as one? Simple as that. This is what ruins a restaurant's reputation and makes people not want to go back. No tip was deserved.

Plus we were meeting early which also happy hour was still happening. I think it's from 3-6. Even at 5 in the afternoon, there was no parking in the lot. And the residential parking was pretty much packed. As I had my little pup with me, we needed a table outside. It's been a while since I was seated outside. Usually it's been in the bar area. They have a back gate at the patio but it was locked. First off, the place was packed. It's been a while since it's been like that. Or maybe I've only been coming during happy hour. Also, it's somewhat seems to be a thing where you have to ask for the happy hour menus. Anyways, their items are pretty decent for prices. Drinks specials and some of the food items are worth it. We alway get a pitcher of beer for the table to share. Food wise, a couple of the ceviche. Either fish or shrimp and that's served with a tostada chip. For 12.00, it's pretty decent in size and quite tasty. Between the fish or shrimp, I prefer shrimp better. Also, two street tacos for 5.00 with many choices of protein. Lastly, the loaded fried nachos for 12.00. Let's say when they mean loaded, it was loaded. That too comes with your choice of protein which I went with the al pastor. The food was great. Reasonable price and well portioned. Plus the chips and bean dip to start off. They also accommodate some salsas with chips which is nice. Before it would alway be the bean dips and you would have to ask for the salsa. If you want fresh guacamole, they have someone that will prepare it table side to your liking. This visit, there was also the mariachi band walking around asking people if that wanted any requests. The service was great, the staffs all are amazing and friendly. Despite it being the middle of the day and a Tuesday it was still hard to find parking and we parked on the side streets and walked. Menus are on the qr codes on the table but the menu is hard to scroll through because you have to click each different items to look at and then scroll down and up. We asked for regular menus to make it easier and we were given menus that had hole punches throughout from punching out all the prices because I'm assuming prices have gone up. I hope that they could make the virtual menu a little easier to look at since i think they might be phasing out their physical menus. While we waited on our order we were given delicious chips and spicy bean dip which were excellent. So delicious. For salsa we were directed to the salsa bar. While I think the bar is cool, the tiny cups to get salsa are too small. I would have liked the bean dip sized bowl to get enough, instead of having to get several tiny cups which are hard to scoop from with the chips. I orderd the #7 which was a cheese enchilada, a crunchy beef taco, and rice and beans. My friends ordered two different taquitos plates, one orderd a fajitas plate, and the youngest got cheese quesedilla. My food was delicious but the portion was so large that I could only eat the taco and take the rest to go! Same with My friends, everyone ate maybe a 3rd to a half of the plate and then we all needed to go boxes. Overall a very delicious visit!

Been a few years since I've been here. Don't love their rice and beans... love their prices though…read more:) Didn't want to use up my gas. I had a full tank and wanted to see my gauge showing an unreal 500 mile range to start my week on Monday. Just psychological ya know! So needed something that wasn't too far. Actually, I was planning to order via Postmates but wanted to try a pricing experiment and decided to order at the place and picked it up. You know old school takeout before Uber Eats... Ordered the steak and shrimp. Came w/ onion rings and two sides. I chose fries and macaroni salad. Got the misses the carne asada nachos she craved and ordered four tacos for the kids. Bill came to $38. On Postmates it was $28 but that included a $25 discount since I've never used the app before. Clearly picking up yourself is the least expensive way to dine out if you aren't getting a new user deal. Oddly enough via Postmates I was offered a 3rd side... Onion rings and shrimp were surprisingly good! Steak needed seasoning, thought I was ordering asada but it clearly said steak so that's on me. Fries were fine not wow not crap. Huge portion to boot :) I have left overs tomorrow after sharing w/ the kids. They devoured the tacos and I hear the wife noming away mmming over the nachos lol. Used to come here all the time. Might have to continue that tradition! Looked a little cleaner than I remembered. Place was packed and folks were constantly ordering takeout. It's still legit!
