During that time two different registered nurses told me I would be very lucky if I was would be assigned Dr. Oh for my neck surgery. One stated she had actually seen him perform a surgery and was very impressed with his skills. When I first met Dr. Oh at his office he immediately made me feel comfortable. He was very thorough in communicating the results from all the various tests performed on my neck. He actually took the time to listen to all I had to say and answer in detail my questions. I needed the surgery during the time when the hospitals had no beds available due to covid. He managed to arrange surgery with a great outcome. This is my neck so I was certainly concerned. I have no words to express how grateful I am for his ability and competence. The surgery was performed on the front and back of the neck. The surgery could not have had better results. The scar on the front of my neck is difficult to find. And my vocal cords are not just as they were before surgery. Follow up appointments with Dr. Oh just proves how caring and compassionate he is with his patients. He is truly a gifted an amazing neurosurgeon. I had an unremarkable MRI(lumbar), though I requested both lumbar and thoracic. At the followup visit, I asked if I should have an X-ray to rule out vertebral fractures. He said, " what do you want?" I asked for his advice. He sarcastically asked my husband if he should get an X-ray. He said I was chasing diagnoses since I saw a cardiologist to rule out heart as the source of pain. He was completely inappropriate. I have never had a more inappropriate interaction with a physician. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for back care. I have seen all other doctors in this office without incident.

I had originally been referred to a different ortho specialist and had a horrible experience there. When I asked to get a new doctor doe a second opinion I was sent to Dr. Pacheco. Now when I first went to see him I didn't expect much, I knew my back was bad and there probably wasn't going to be many options for me. But Dr. Pacheco was a kind and understanding person, and luckily enough he had experienced similar people with my type of pain. Ultimately he provided me with the option of a spinal fusion, I won't lie I was nervous, but I could tell Dr. Pacheco was trustworthy and he was willing to give me another shot with a repaired back. It might not be brand new but he fixed me up. Dealing with chronic back pain as bad as mine really had me in a dark place mentally but Dr. Pacheco was able to give me hope again.

CARE QUALITY: 10/10 ALL of the staff at the front desk were all pretty young and mature. They are more patient over the phone and in person than most other front desk staff we've been too.
