Today's surgery was a huge accomplishment for me and will set a better tone for future medical procedures. My initial consultation with Dr. Hussain went very well. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and I left feeling confident enough to schedule my surgery. On surgery day I was extremely nervous, extremely. Off the bat the receptionists calmed my nerves with their sweet smiles and affirmations. The technician/surgeons assistant, Emily guided me to the surgery room and got me all set up.She described every step which helps so much so that I knew what to expect. She was very kind and thoughtful. She is great at her job and I wish her the best in her medical career. A few other people passed through who very also very kind and helped to lighten the mood. Dr. Hussain came in to start surgery and talked me through things to help calm me. Before you know it I was knocked out and didn't even know it. Emily rolled me out to our car and now I am home recovering. I feel great and am going to take all the recommended steps to recover well. I hope this helps anyone with anxiety around this sort of thing. The staff and doctors are wonderful. Thank you.
