I retired and didn't continue my dental insurance about that time. I went to her 2 times and paid for the work done. However, they wanted to do several expensive things that I couldn't afford. They canceled my last appointment because of not agreeing to have the expensive work done, but I still wanted to have my regular cleanings, which I would pay for. She only wants patients with insurance. So, if you have insurance and think you have a good dentist, think twice. They are only interested in the insurance, not you.

To say the least, I was amazed with his latest laser equipment! There was no shot to numb the area (hooray!) which meant no waiting for the numbness to take effect and no waiting for the dentist to return. Within minutes after Dr. Scheiderich entered the room, he had finish removing the cavity, removed all the bacteria in the cavity area via the laser, and was already filling the cavity! Unlike some other dentists that I've been to, he is always very willing to take time and explain things and answer any questions I might have. During our conversation that day, he mentioned that the laser can also be used for extractions! Good to know since I've always dreaded having a tooth pulled! The laser does make a clicking noise ... kind of like a gas stove igniter ... but that minor sound is well worth not having to have an injection and dealing with the feeling of a fat lip for the rest of the day, not to mention the time savings! The DA assistant was so rough he pulled the jaw muscle that caused this. I am now on medication for that. To tell you all that went wrong would take too long. The dental tech got very frustrated.and mad after 40 minutes of grinding on the temp crown he made when I still said it was still not right. He cemented it in even though it was nowhere near rightly fitting. He ground the temp while glued in my mouth without water or suction. Asked to see the Dr. She came in, used the blue paper test and ground some more after confirming that it was indeed hitting wrong. It was still not right. Dr. Cho left him alone and frustrated with me for far too long. I had to go to Urgent Care because it became infected. So a course of antibiotics. The Dr said they way the crown was put in would certainly cause it to get infected. The new Dentist said it was the worst temp she had ever seen. I now have TMD from the trauma to my jaw that was caused by Aspen Dental. Months of PT. The damage done by Aspen Dental maybe permanent. They are the worst dentist I have even been to. And I am old! Please save yourself a lot of pain and greif and DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL.

On my first visit, I walked in to a beautiful, clean, state of the art dental office. The staff were very kind. They were helpful in keeping me calm and not nervous. Dr. DeKow was so kind and went over a treatment plan. I went back today to start this and received the same very kind treatment. I feel really bad that I can not remember the dental assistants name but she was amazing. She checked on me, kept me calm, she was so sweet and very professional. Dr. DeKow was so kind, made sure I was doing ok through the entire procedure. I will recommend this office to anyone and everyone. They also take multiple insurances including mine. And, last but not least, they do not play elevator music.

To get your teeth whitened here (they do Zoom Whitening), they charge $500 for the whitening visit…read more*and* they require an additional in office visit at $300 before you can do the whitening visit even if you already have regular dental care elsewhere. That is NOT what other dentists are doing - others *only* charge for the whitening visit. Also, they are happy to leave you on hold indefinitely if you call to ask questions. I can't recommend attempting to work with this dentist due to these practices.
