I do not have a problem with a business being busy. That is a good problem for a business to have. My issue comes, when instead of saying you are busy, the business continually makes appts or followups they do not keep. At that point you do something I have a problem with, you waste the one thing none of us can afford to waste, you waste time. In this case you waste my time and that, especially when you do it repeatedly, I find annoying and unprofessional. If you can't do a job, say that, I am happy to give business to others. Each handyman was cut out of the same mold - on time, respectful, upfront on costs, and superior work skills. Recently, Tony was brought to our house as the dry wall in the garage was about to fall. Mr. Handyman office quickly notified Tony who drove immediately to our house and began the work to repair. Afterwards we asked him to rework the drywall and support for the whole garage, repair all paneling after 33 years of neglect, and paint ceiling and rest of the garage. Tony was personable, extremely neat, kept us informed of his progress, and delivered an unbelievable sight of richness to our garage. As he was leaving I asked Tony if he could add handles to the shower area even though this was not on his work order. He did so willingly and worked overtime to be sure we were pleased. When I started calling handymen & contractors in the area a lot of them never bothered to return messages, or would promise me a quote and then disappear. Bryce answered my call, was able to make a prompt appointment and showed up as promised. Everything he has done for us looks good and when there was an issue with part of one job he quickly showed up and fixed the problem. He's also honest when some repairs require someone with a more specialized skillset. When he discovered some issues with our brick walls he didn't hesitate to tell me that this was something that required a mason, so it's good to know he won't half-ass a job that's outside of what he normally does.

Then...they showed up at 5. That's the complaint. But they actually managed to build the whole thing in 2 hours, which means I essentially paid the minimal hourly rate. They unpacked everything, brought their own tools, put the bookshelf nicely against the wall, then disposed of all the packaging. All of this was done with no supervision and while I continued to watch a marathon of Law and Order. I will absolutely use them again for all my assembly needs. I just might have to be prepared to wait around a bit longer.
