The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming when I was making my appointment and when I checked in. The hygienist who took the x-rays and completed the cleaning was very friendly and gentle. Dr. Winburn came in at the end to review the x-rays and my mouth. He was also very gentle and I appreciated his calm demeanor. I was very happy with the visit and decided to schedule my appointment for 6 months out and appointments for my 2 kids. It was a good experience!

Dr Babcock is the only biological dentist in the KC area that I could find. She seemed to have state of the art technology and was up on new procedures for my options. She had great gentle bedside manners, empathy for my situation, and professionalism which was much appreciated. In any event, I had my first appointment at Overland Park Modern Dentistry on approximately October 9, 2024, and had a great experience. Dr. Sheth and the whole staff were very professional, thorough, and gave me information about costs right up front. I was going to be needing a crown (Dr. Sheth showed me on the xray what was going on and I'm familiar enough with the process to understand) and chose to have the entire process completed two days later. It took less than two hours. I'll definitely be using Overland Park Modern Dentistry as my regular dentist and highly recommend them.

Although there are really good reviews which made me want to give it a try, there are also bad ones having to do with money which is a red flag. My second appt was a cleaning also with Dr. Jessup, I was happy with that as well, they were nice and informative. And I had zero pain during the cleaning. My third appt was to get some cavities filled by Dr Jessup, I had no issues with pain before the fillings but now am in a lot of pain and it's been 4 months since then. So I was not happy with that. I went in today for a cleaning from Dr Hutchinson, she was super kind and helpful on a plan to get my tooth to no longer hurt, she said that the filling I was given needed to be fixed and that should solve the pain. Overall I would definitely reccomend the office as the desk gals and hygienists are wonderful and so is Dr Hutchinson but I wouldn't reccomend seeing Dr Jessup. Also the location is kind of interesting to get to but once you've gone once it'll be a breeze to get to again. They do have a parking lot which I appreciate, and the office is very cozy and clean inside as well!
