This was our first time to the Market - the first impression was that the restaurant was extremely busy as it is Christmas Eve, and we were offered a table on the side rather than in the restaurant so we were a bit disappointed. We ended up waited to be in the main room, which is contemporary and airy. Overall our experience was very positive- plenty of space between tables so we did not feel too confined. Since it is Christmas Eve dinner, things did not always work out the first try. My chicken special was extremely over cooked and the prosciutto pork chop ordered medium rare was "well done". The staff were excellent: we send both dishes back and they were very attentive and made sure that our experience was all the more enjoyable including the senior management who visited our table throughout our dinner. Both dishes second try was excellent . There was a large selection of top quality appetizers (Breads, cheeses, salads, seafood), good main courses (Meat, seafood, vegetables, pastas) and a huge variety of deserts on offer, there was something for everybody!

An absolutely wonderful surprise, delicious food, excellent service and great ambiance! Every bite was a delicious surprise, highly recommend.

I'm so glad I found this gorgeous restaurant before my trip to Paris so I could make sure I tried it here while on my vacation. It was really a delicious meal set in a very hip, funky and warm setting. The staff were great, the food spectacular and I couldn't really fault it here at all. I had the Spiced Chicken Samosa's for entree, and for my main, I had the very yummy Cheeseburger. Everything came out in good time and as asked for, and tasted so good, that I wish I actually lived in Paris so I could revisit often. If you think that while in France you must only eat French food, don't. Don't let that stop you from eating at places with fusion cuisines, because there are plenty of cool, modern restaurants with gorgeous flavours, and Market is one of them. Well worth the visit here.

The plus sides of Market are that the ingredients are very fresh and the cooked elements are done to perfection. The service was also excellent. The down side of Market is that it lacks the elegance of preparation that you expect of a Jean Georges establishment. For example, my tomato, avocado, and mango salad was composed of perfectly ripe and delicious fruit; however, it was a larger portion than necessary and it was swimming in dressing. My husband had the arugula, fennel, mushroom, and Parmesan salad. He said his salad was overdressed, too. For an entree, I had the ricotta ravioli. It was also heavily sauced. The menu at Market is a bit odd in that there is no clear concept. You can get chips and guacamole, pizza, or tuna tartare. I suppose there is something for everybody! Market has fresh ingredients and a bustling scene. It may be worth a try if you are in the area. I won't be rushing back next time I am in Paris.

Not worth the price at all. The service was poor. I ordered my steak medium and it came well. They also prepared one of my sides incorrectly so I sent it back. While they were making me a new steak they didn't take back my side of mashed potatoes which got cold while I was waiting. They brought the asparagus back prepared wrong again so I just asked them to take it off the bill. When they brought me a new steak it was cooked properly but was unremarkable. They do accommodate gluten free but it's quite limited in options and the exciting things are all unavailable gf. Had the cheese plate but was unimpressed with that as well. I ended up paying 90 something euro for a mediocre meal at best. Wouldn't recommend. Try Le Florimond instead!

Came for a week long visit to Paris. Best meal we both had while here. Came on New Year's Eve and had a prix fix menu that was so good. Service was great as well. Truffle pizza was really a shock at HOW good it was. Amazing really even if you're not a truffle fan. Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. Highly recommend.

The service is wonderful, from the hostess to the maitre d' to the server, but the food was disappointing especially for the price. The bread was tasteless and too tough. The calamari was tough and chewy. The steak was not seasoned, it smelled gamey, and it was a little tough. The ravioli was too firm and a little on the bland side. Some parts of the ricotta were cold, it seemed like it was previously frozen. The wine was great and Matias, our server was the saving grace.

Foodies, stay away! This place is a joke. If you want modern food and ambience, go to Le Dauphine or L'Office instead.

When we told the server that there was a rat all he said was "this is Paris" we asked if he could move it and he said "no, this is Paris don't worry." If it was just Paris we wouldn't have had other parisians in the restaurant being freaked out about. I get it we are Americans and aren't used to it, but not even putting the rat outside after we asked them to is awful. We stayed at the restaurant although we shouldn't have. The food took an hour and a half to come out, and the server was pretty awful. Typical for Paris but even worse than usual. The prices were outrageous and the food did not taste good whatsoever. Highly don't recommend this place if you value a good atmosphere without eating next to rats.

Although delicious, I was definitely expecting more for a restaurant with a Michelin star. It was just, simple. -experience was okay. We loved the service, attentive, friendly, answering lots of questions. Good wine list. Overall, somewhat expensive, but it's Paris. The carpaccio of beef was great as was the spinach ravioli with truffles. The only "miss" here was that the black truffles seemed to lack power and flavor which they sometimes do. I am not a truffle expert, but sometimes they pack a lot of very good punch and sometimes you can barely taste them, and in this case it was the latter. Feel like we got head-faked into the truffle menu and might have been better off on the regular one. Suggest: smell the truffles when they show them to you and if it's not fairly overpowering, then don't order. The bellinis were fanastic on the other hand. Overall, I'd definitely come back if I want a fancy Italian meal not far from the Champs Elyseees.

They were closed the following day (Sunday) so we were somewhat surprised to be greeted warmly and shown to a table which they made up for us. We were given a couple of menus, and told by our waiter in a nice way that the clock was ticking for the kitchen so we quickly chose a couple of pizzas and a bottle of wine. Having worked in kitchens before, I know first hand that latecomers are not the most welcome by the kitchen staff when they are trying to clean up and get out to enjoy their evening and the following day off. The food was wonderful, pizza dough was crispy, the toppings fresh in spite of the late hour, and the wine was excellent. Now the prices we have come to recognize in our first few days in Paris are pretty steep relative to Vancouver, which is saying something, but we feel we got our monies worth. One thing to remember in France when using a credit card is that you cannot add a tip on the machine, so bring cash with you to tip. If you add it to the bill on the machine the establishment gets the money not the person who waited upon you. Cash goes to them and them alone. We are leaving Paris in the morning and heading back to Fenice again this evening, a little earlier this time to enjoy their fine food one more time. Highly recommended from our first experience, here's hoping for a repeat. Bon appetit! VISIT #2 Ate here a second time while in Paris and were surprised that we were recognized upon our arrival and once again seated at the same table we had had a couple of evenings prior. I can only say that our second experience was even better than our first. Our food was outstanding, the service first class. We only wish we had more nights in Paris to sample more of the menu.

Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable with a nice ambiance from other guests. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
