We have been going to Palm Valley pediatric dentist for about two years now and she now loves the dentist! They are extremely patient with her and explain everything they are doing. They also make the experience super fun for kids. There's a playroom in the waiting area. Kids can also watch movies while they wait for play computer games. Once you are called in there are adorable dinosaurs chairs and they get to watch Netflix as they are getting their work done. All of the doctors have been wonderful and explain everything they are doing step by step. This dentist is very recommended. My three littles are happy customers and so am I.

After receiving multiple reminders via email and text regarding my appointment time, I arrive early to fill out paperwork. Ten minutes past my appointment time I asked front desk how behind are they running. Was told the room was being cleaned. Ten minutes later I asked again and said I will have to reschedule if I'm not seen in the next 5 minutes. Finally got to the chair and waited while the assistant asked if I wanted to schedule my next appointment. Sorry, no. I usually book every 4 months for exams and cleanings. Poorly run and inconsiderate of my time. Perhaps being open five days a week would help with scheduling. Dr. Garrett should be aware of what is going on, it's his name on the door!

They use high tech devices that provide 3D imagine of your teeth and gums. The hygienist and dentist and both thought and friendly answering any and all equations without making me feel rushed. As a kid, my dad took me to an ex-Army dentist, he was good at his job, charged a good rate but was by far the least gentle of any that I've ever known. My girlfriend recently found out her wisdom tooth was cracked and infected. We took her to the closest place and they recommended an oral surgeon, uhh I think you can buy a forclosed house for the price they charge to pull teeth! Not to mention the soonest they could do it would be 2 weeks. Mom mom went to see Dr Yi at the Family Dentistry a few years ago to fix a broken crown and she was very happy, so I called them up. They got us in the next day and she was in and out as well as all 4 wisdoms in 1 hour. I think she's the first one I've ever seen excited after getting out of a dentists chair with 4 less teeth, the cost was also extremely reasonable and very far short of what we were quoted for other dentists and the oral surgeon.

Upon arrival, I observed concerning hygiene practices--a staff member put on gloves, touched their face, and then attempted to treat my child without changing them. This raised serious concerns about infection control. Communication was poor throughout the visit. Staff did not introduce themselves, explain their roles, or clearly communicate procedures, and there was no proper informed consent before attempting care. The office enforces a $100 rescheduling fee for patients, yet frequently changes appointments themselves. Despite multiple reminders warning of this fee, we arrived on time only to be told they didn't know why we were there and that there was no reason for the appointment, even though it had been scheduled and confirmed by their office. When we raised concerns, staff dismissed them and made no effort to resolve the situation, leaving us feeling that our time did not matter. Additionally, staff entered the room appearing confused, spoke to each other in another language without explanation, and repeatedly referred to my son as a girl despite being corrected, which felt disrespectful. Overall, the office was unprofessional, disorganized, and lacking in basic communication and courtesy. Our time and concerns were not respected, and I cannot recommend this dental office.
