My 85 year old mom needed new shoes. I looked at the website and emailed the store, they pulled the shoes she would be interested in before we got there. They were so sweet fitting her, were good at seeing which would be easy to put on and not, and helped me be sure with her alzhimers that the fit was good. They found a really good shoe that wasn't even one that we had considered. Their prices are the same as all the big departments stores or shopping on line, so well worth the trip for the selection and customer service. 6 out of 5 stars.

They definitely had several brands/ styles I wanted to try on. I'm writing this as I walked out, after waiting for service. I asked about some shoes...and as soon as someone that waived around their whatever...I was nothing. Ok. My money spends just as well where I am respected. I might be young, but I like comfortable shoes. So, bye...

Just what I wanted just what I got.

I am revising my rating based upon correspondence and a revisit although the original review will remain for clarity and transparency. I received a DM from the owner Ryan who wanted to address my concerns regarding my original visit. First off, how often to Yelpers get a personal reply? Rarely. So an immediate uptick in customer relations in my book. Ryan expressed one of the core values of "humbly be of service" is a pillar in staff expectation. Another positive step towards building and maintaining merchant-customer relationships. Receiving Ryan's humble reply and apology was authentic and expressed core values that Ballard merchants I have been known for years . (My family set roots in Ballard in 1904) I advised Ryan that I would give it another try and come in on Saturday to shop. I decided to go today, Friday. I show up and asked a salesperson named Brianna if she had the Hoka Goretex in Sz11. A few minutes later Brianna appears with 4 boxes. She had a few other recommendations to offer. Being an early fan of Hoka, I just took the one pair. But the point I want to make is that Brianna overdelivered in customer service. Overdeliver is a good word and important core value. We finished the sale and Brianna took my number for when the Winter Birks come in. Outstanding! Hat tip to Kelsey who I believe was the manager and provided some details on when the new Birks may come in. Again, follow up and clarification. Good stuff! Given the challenges merchants on Market Street in Ballard are facing, I am so pleased to be able to patronize a place that understands old Ballard values. Lastly, the selection of Hokas are comparable to any other local retailer in the area. Win-WIn! Went to buy a pair of Hokas. Me: "I imagine you have these in a size 11? Salesperson: "Maybe, we sell these all the time". No offer to check to try to make a $155 sale. I agree with Dawn's review. Poor customer service and not a 'always be closing person". This was the second time I got the Arc Teryx freeze. Note to owner: just because I am an old guy and very unhipster looking doesn't mean you forgo a sale.

Love my Samuel Hubbard blue suede shoes!

I bought a killer pair of Dansko boots here a couple of years ago, and wear them pretty much everyday at work.

Bought some items online…read more Disappointed with my first online purchase from likelihood. Ordered adidas samba's and a stussy tee. Somehow domestic standard shipping came out to $35? I hope everything goes well! Package came in, and realized that the tee wasn't in there. It was later noted that my tee would be coming in later on the physical receipt, with no tracking number... Ok that's fine. Open the shoe box, and samba's are a tried on pair with dirty insoles, retied laces, no paper and creasing. That's not cool, I'm paying full retail price for a new pair. Receipt says final sale on full retail priced items. Was not notified during check out online. Customer care replied saying that the reason why domestic shipping is so expensive is because they have to ship from another likelihood store. So I'm paying double shipping? Why was I not told about this? Final sale was because I used a 10% code. Again, was NOT notified online. They did not want to at LEAST give me a partial refund for the samba's, and said they would waive the final sale so that I could return them. After all that terrible service, I would even have to pay for shipping to return a dirty pair of shoes. Disappointing. The worst customer service I've had to deal with. Sad. Will never come back here again. EDIT: the owner, Daniel, reached out and gave me a full refund as well as a gift card. He was very polite and understanding. Thank you Daniel!

Pink tags were 1/2 off and unlike the stores in Reno, they don't take pink tags off the racks before the sale! There are fitting rooms, and it's all very clean and organized. This is a well-oiled machine here. Home goods side, with furniture, and for that alone I wish I had a UHAUL truck backed up. My cousin spent $150 and I spent about $75 and we spent about 3 hours there. Easily could have spent all day, but it was a thrifting kind of day, so we hit several stores the same day. Took away a star because they don't allow you to use their restrooms anymore. We would have spent more time and money, but they closed their bathrooms to the public (stupid).

Walls of kitchen things too! It's almost a home depot sized goodwill. I came back for during a 2nd trip to Seattle. Huge parking lot! Can also get there via public transportation (bus stop nearby). The staff often brings out new clothes and there are fitting rooms! You do have to leave your personal bag outside the fitting room door and there's an employee who will watch them for you (trying to prevent theft).
