LOVE THIS STORE! We go out of our way to drop by when we come home to visit family in Tacoma. So excited that they survived pandemic shut down and the Capitol protests! The guys who work there are welcoming and helpful. The displays are bright and organized. The collection of shoes and collectibles are so very unique. I still have a pair of Adidas that I bought from here 5 years ago! I have not been able to find a pair like it ANY WHERE, and I've tried! Walked out today with another super unique shoe for myself, one for my husband, and one for my daughter! We'll be back on our next trip home. Bonus: they offer military discount! Not military? Really looked forward to visiting here to check out what they got. I love their collaborations and whenever I come to a city with a BAIT people want me to pick up stuff for them. The staff here was super friendly and the dude who helped me was able to get all the stuff I wanted to pick up. Definitely not use to getting help at a sneaker/streetwear store like this so it's one of my favorites. Another super helpful thing was they had a list of other sneaker/streetwear stores in Seattle which we did use. I'll be coming back for sure when I land in Seattle again. read more

The staff here was A1 when I visited on 6/22/2022. There were 3 fellas working that day - Tommy, Kane, and I totally forgot the 3rd guy's name but he wore glasses + cap and helped me while I was shopping (forgive me, bro!) - and all 3 guys were super personable. I had already finished making my purchase but I stayed another 20 min or so just conversing with them about the pros/cons of living in the Bay Area vs PNW since I had future plans of moving up there haha. In terms of the store itself - it's spacious and organized (just look at the existing photos) and they have pretty much you would expect from other BAIT stores. read more

Great shop for sneakers, streetwear, and collectibles at fair prices. This isn't like a typical overpriced sneaker resale shop. This shop is goated and usually sells new sneaker drops at retail, although lines are long and it's first come first serve. They have Jordans, Yeezys, and other "hype" brands. The shop has a dope aesthetic and has tons of cool collectibles to buy. They also have a buy 4 get 1 free deal on blind boxes, which are about $7-$12 each, and they're really nice about it. If you like the one that's on display, they'll let you exchange the one you bought, if you open in store. The blind boxes are My Hero, Sanrio, Art of War, One Punch Man, and more. The staff are also really helpful and super chill. Would definitely recommend checking out when you're in Cap Hill! read more

Came in and wasn't looking for anything in particular but found a dope coffee table book which was, "The Ultimate Sneaker book" and a dope Futura Labs ammo box display piece. The entire staff was very cool and chill, Tomi or Tommy *hopefully I spelled it correctly* who helped me and chatted with me for a bit was very helpful and friendly. I've been to different Bait stores but this one was by far the biggest. In any case, if you're looking for some dope apparel, some cool toys or display pieces, or even kicks, stop by here, amazing staff! Also if you check in you get 10% off! I was informed by one of the staff members which I thought was very generous of them, since it wasn't necessary to tell me, so kudos for the discount! My group decided to drop by since we're familiar with BAIT in San Francisco. This shop is definitely bigger than the one in SF, that's forsure! The guys working here are pretty chill and didn't really bother us while we shopped around for 30 minutes and made it clear to let them know if we needed any help at all with sizing for the clothes or shoes. They got some pretty dope merch here, will def be back the next time we're in Seattle. read more

This my all my all time fave spot! I am used to Vegas and LA where all the shops are so close to each other and everyone knows each other. I had just moved here and when I walked in Bait instantly had that same vibe! They welcomed me in and since I was new to Seattle, they showed me around the shop and went through all the product. The manager asked what kind of releases I was into and if there's anything I'm ever looking for to just give them a call and they'd help me track it down - even if they didn't stock/carry it!! Now that is serious customer service. I am now a repeat customer and definitely got that shop loyalty. If a place shows you love, you gotta show it back and put good word out there. Lately they've helped me track down my size if I've shown up too late for a release or my size didn't come in. Every single person that has helped me here has always taken an interest and never rushed me like I feel other places tend to do. read more

My brother-in-law in NY told me about Bait so their reach is far. ever since then, I happily give them all my money. The shop is very unique and has some really cool things. I really don't know how this place has a 4 star rating. Every time I've come in here, the "employees" are rude, they act like they don't care about their jobs, they spend their times looking at their phones or laptop, and they just give off vibes of "I don't want you in here". This place lacks in customer service hugely. I've seen better customer at McDonalds. I've seen better customer service at any of the Chinese restaurants in the international district. I've even seen better customer service from those dudes on hover-boards selling their mixtapes in Downtown Seattle. I am not even joking; at least those guys greet you and acknowledge your existence, and try to get you to buy their stuff. I used to work in retail and I still work in customer service, and I've never seen a business so poorly and unprofessionally run as BAIT. read more

Realllyyyy cool store up on Cap Hill! We didn't even know this place existed. We were searching for Killion, a new store that was opening in the area, and thought this might be it... It wasn't, but we weren't disappointed! They have a lot of cool brands (Publish, Nike, etc.) and the store itself just looks really nice. There's brick walls and cool hanging fixtures... I don't do the best describing it, but believe me - it's cool and definitely worth checking out! My boyfriend wanted one of everything in this store AND they have Publish brand for WOMEN. I've never seen that ANYWHERE else so that's definitely a plus for me. Employees were very nice as well and weren't pushy about selling anything. This will be a regular stop when we're the area! read more

Bait has the worst customer service. The vibe is, we are cool, our customers are cool, hip and have money to spend. And I'm (the sales people) too cool to treat you like you exist. My daughter got a xmas Bait gift card and wanted to buy sneakers that she saw on the Bait website. So, I took her to the store. She didn't see them in the store today and asked the worker if they had anymore and he just looked at her and in a monotone voice said no and walked away. We left the store and my daughter turns to me and says "they have terrible customer service and I wish I had a Nordstrom gift certificate instead". Never heard back after emailing them (no surprise there) and I won't go into that store again. Good luck with your too cool attitude. Seattle is a small city and word gets around, good, bad and the ugly. Update: The manager did get back to me apologizing and saying that they do value good customer service. But when I returned a couple months later, again the sales people didn't look at me or say hello. read more

There's nothing like being followed around by the not-so-inconspicuous sales associate. I won't say which one it was, but she should really work on being more discrete. Maybe if she saw the luxury car I pulled up in or the $700 shoes on my feet, she would have been less apt to be so discriminatory. I am hopeful that this was an isolated event, but I am sure it is not. Other than that, this store's selection is sub-par. read more

After patronizing this place for a while, I was asked not to come back to this store. Naturally I was curious as to why they would do this to a repeat customer. I was told that I had made an employee uncomfortable- by flirting with them!! I was gobsmacked as to why anyone would think that. I'm a talker- I talk to everyone I meet the same way, but this person thought I was flirting with them. Perhaps they have too much main character energy to think that. Perhaps they found my chattiness annoying- not everyone is going to be delighted by me- but why, WHY would they not just tell me they were busy and couldn't talk? Did they feel they were being held hostage? I saw Standard Goods as a neighborhood spot. Keep in mind I wasn't camping out at the store; I'd say my average visit was -20 minutes, and I wasn't there frequently. This just doesn't make any sense to me. I'm forced to consider the possibility they felt ill at ease around me due to my disablity- I'm legally blind and my eyes look different, some people aren't comfortable with that that's their problem. Even if that's not the case, it still really hurt when they asked me not to come back. What is this, high school? Yes, I cried. They made me feel like my presence was a nuisanc. It left an impact. question whether people want me around. There were so many other ways they could have dealt with it and at the same time keep in mind that I was a customer with feelings. I get the distinct sense that they don't care about customers or the community. It's good for managers to take their employees' concerns seriously- Just not like this. Maybe they are extremely nonconfrontational, yet there must have been another way to addrss this without banning me from the store.

Subsequently, I lost some interest since I don't live nearby. While I was in Ballard on a recent Sunday, I rushed to the market to see if it was still open. Officially, it was not; they closed at 2pm. But they were still packing up. I believe they are not allowed to sell after the official closing time; I asked one vendor, they declined. The staff wants the streets to reopen as soon as possible. As I walked the two blocks, several vendors still have some items on display on their tables. With a bit of wink, wink, accidentally dropping cash on the table and accidentally taking things off the table, I walked away with goodies. I won't say what I bought to avoid anyone getting into trouble. Street parking was easy enough nearby on a Sunday.

I don't think I have seen more beautiful blooms anywhere else! I love that it was heavily focused on local small businesses, farmers, and FOOD. We stopped for a few bites along the way and were blown away every time. So good. This market is huge and stretches for a few blocks, so be sure to come early and give yourself ample time to explore. Also, with it being in Ballard, there are a ton of cool, hipster shops to browse while you're in the area.

The service here was outstanding. All of the employees are wonderful. Aldric the manager, is super helpful. Zack is wonderful employee, I felt bad because I asked for multiple pairs for shoes because I wasn't sure what I wanted, but he didn't hesitate to get all of them for me which was super impressive. John, is helpful too, he rang me up and made me comfortable in the store because every other store around the area seems like you're not welcome usually. Bruce is super fun to talk to, storms fashion sense is outstanding especially when he wears his fuchsia pants. Overall great store and great atmosphere. 100% recommended!!! read more

Pretty rare selection of clothing you don't find any other place in Seattle. They have a good selection of Nike and Adidas and they get in some of the more limited releases of Jordan's and other special sneakers. Clothing selection is cool with stuff like Billionaire Boys Club, Y-3, UNDFTD, and stuff in that scene. Accessories and toys there are so many so I don't know where to start haha. One of the only boutiques around here in Seattle. They get all the Nike and Jordan releases even Adidas too!! The toy collection is awesome since Medicom who makes bearbrick so is from Japan and being able to see them in person is great. They have helped me numerous times but the store receives hit foot traffic so put that in consideration. The go to spots to tap into streetwear!!! read more

If your in cap hill area make sure you go 2 bait. They have the best selection Shoes/Apparel in my opinion than any other store in Seattle. I went inside and asked two lovely associates Tiara and Maria about them, and even though the store was out of stock, they did not give up on me. These two literally pulled a full mannequin out of the window display, moved all the merch around it, pulled the pants off and practically undressed the poor guy, just so I could try them on. I'm not kidding. That is NEXT LEVEL customer service. The mannequin was wearing a medium and I usually wear a large, so I thought it was over. But since they're super baggy cargos, we decided to try it anyway... PERFECT. FIT. Not only did they fit, but they matched perfectly. I walked out with exactly what I was hoping for, and honestly it made my whole day. Huge shoutout to Tiara and Maria for being so kind, helpful, and willing to go way above and beyond.
