    Banana pecan French toast

We had a great brunch at Marketside. My kids both cleaned their plates, and my husband and I really enjoyed our food as well. The toast from the local bakery's Italian bread was fantastic. The service was friendly, and the retired owner was great as he came around and greeted each table. Highly recommend!

Really lovely people here, happy to feed hungry customers. It's a, "seat yourself" kind of place in the early morning; the waitress was quick to bring coffee and take my order. The waffle-maker wasn't working, so I had pancakes with fresh fruit: Sliced strawberries, bananas, and whole blueberries. Real maple syrup available. It was hot, quick, and filing: I was back out the door in 30 minutes. YMMV. Highly recommend.

This breakfast spot was busy on Wednesday morning and I definitely understand why! The food is super tasty and I would've eaten here again if I had spent more days in Niagara. The interior gives off a cozy, homey vibe and the service was awesome. Even though it was packed, our server was very attentive to our large group. We ordered the Banana Fosters Pancakes with a side of real maple syrup and let me tell you, that syrup is worth it. It was a total game changer and really enhanced the pancakes. We also got the Sal Maglie with everything and that was a winner too. Overall this place is awesome! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be coming here again.

Words cannot describe how extremely pleased I was with our visit to Marketside. We found this place on accident as we were traveling through from Texas on our way to Niagara Falls, Canada. The restaurant makes you feel like you're having breakfast at home. It's an amazing mom and pop place. The owner comes by and checks in to ensure your meal is to your liking. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Now let's talk about our meal. I am an absolute French toast lover and I've always been one to criticize a place based on their French toast. Marketside had the best! The best French toast I've ever had! Gosh I'm going to miss it going back home to Texas. My husband raved about their strawberry chocolate pancakes. Most dishes are not meals, so you are purchasing eggs and a side of meat separately, which brings the check up but it's well worth it.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning a few weeks ago. I got a western omelet with cheese...extra charge for cheese. The omelet was served with toast. I wish I could say that it was outstanding but it was just ok. Next time I will try the pancakes!!!

    French Toast with Fruit

Absolutely delicious food, we actually went twice during our stay in Niagara. The first visit I had a turkey bacon breakfast sandwich with home fries, and the second time I ordered the best French toast with fresh fruit. The bread was a super thick cut and perfectly cooked, and the fruit was genuinely fresh. The coffee was also really enjoyable. The service was fast and efficient without feeling rushed. The best part, though, was the atmosphere. Everyone there was so close and welcoming it truly felt like a family-oriented place. It was really sweet to see, and you could tell the staff genuinely care about each other and their customers. A place that feels like family and serves amazing food is always a win.

I don't leave reviews for diners until I've been a couple times because diners can so be variable. 3rd time here and LET ME TELL YOU, ALWAYS DELICIOUS. It's about a 30 minute drive from us and it's worth every minute getting there, I would drive across boarders. I normally get eggs, sausage (I think it's home made 10/10) and home fries. Across the board 10/10, so good idk if they use bacon fat for the home fries but they're a home run. The French toast is also something else, you don't even need syrup, it's that moist. The ambience is so cute, it feels like you're in your grandmas kitchen. The owner hangs out and is such a pleasure. COME EAT HERE TRUST.

This is such a great experience for students at the culinary school, I love that they have this ability to work here. The hostess, servers, and food is all PHENOMENAL. I do believe the menu changes seasonally/semesterly, so I will have to come back to try a new menu! You pay a flat fee of $40 for bread that is baked at the schools bakery, an appetizer of your choosing, an entree of your choosing, and also a dessert. This time I had some sort of sausage ball for my app, steak frites which was a special for my entree, and the chocolate raspberry tart. I would get everything again. The server even asked if we were celebrating anything special, and we just said that I was back in town and they wrote Welcome Home on my dessert plate! Such a special touch that will stick with me.

Ordered a salad, roasted chicken and the pana cotta for dessert. We left still hungry. All the portions were extremely small. They also did not ask about allergies, which I thought was SO important especially since they are a school. The salad was good, but about the size of a fist. The chicken was really tender and moist, plated well, but only a small thigh/wing with a few cubed cucumbers and tomatoes under. The pana cotta was 2-3 bites, was served on a cookie the size of an Oreo cookie. For $40 per person, it is overpriced and not worth it.

I know for lunch you don't want long wait times. Our server was so great. She was very nice, attentive and friendly. Been here and the Lewiston location and always had good food. Still the same. Our food was delicious. Very nice portion sizes as well. We started off with the burnt ends.. YUM. The smoke flavor definitely came through and it came with some pickleld veggies and cucumbers, it was fresh and tasty. I went with the crab and corn chowder with the bourbon jam burger and fries. Also at the table was a basket of fried shrimp, and the chicken waffles. First let me say their seasoned fries are absolutely amazing. Fried perfect and when they call them seasoned, that they are in a great way! My crab and corn chowder was tasty. I could used bit more crab but that didn't take away from it tasting good. My burger was cooked as I liked. I wish the bacon jam to blue cheese ratio were a bit better. I had way more blue cheese than bacon jam so it was a bit over powering to where I couldn't even taste the bacon jam..but again the flavor and cook was great. This one popped up on my radar and I thought I'm going to go check it out. Located in a home Depot shopping center, it was pretty easy to find. Upon entering the place, it had a very cheery bright atmosphere. I was able to grab myself a table and take a seat. Robin, my server, was there in a heartbeat to grab me some coffee. The coffee itself is very tasty, they have a fairly comprehensive menu, and had plenty of options. One thing I was actually stunned about was the low prices. A breakfast of two eggs, bacon and home fries was only $6.99. I jumped in and ordered a couple upgrades including a pancake on the side and the peameal bacon. Again, this was one of the most amazing meals I've had. I had never experienced this type of bacon before, and now I am absolutely hooked. Everything overall was cooked perfectly. Seasoned excellently and I can't say enough nice things about this place. Service was on point, food and atmosphere was all there. Bottom line? I will definitely be hitting this place again, and you should too.
