Everything had to come off the wood floors from kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, living room, hallway etc. They also moved furniture away from walls in other rooms so trim could be cleaned and then painted. Both men were very conscientous of our belongings and treated them with great care. All furniture, refrigerator and gas stove were carefully placed in our garage. As serious as they were with moving carefully and quickly they both have a friendly & approachable demeanor. Answering questions and keeping it light made for an enjoyable experience. I look forward to having them back to move us back in and would easily recommend them for your upcoming move, whether that's to the garage, across town or across the country.

They also stopped on the way at a furniture store and picked up additional furniture. Drove to my new location and unloaded everything in less than 2 hours. Travis is an absolute professional and strategic in placing items in the truck to maximize usage. Bruce is a joy and charming as charming can be. Quan is an absolute gentleman and wrapped everything meticulously. These guys are awesome. I could not have made this move without them.

The crew basically shrugged and said "sorry" as they did not have tools on hand to pull and fix a stripped screw, leaving me SOL. This may have been a two-star event as the rest of the move was great. However, there were lighting fixtures lining the sidewalk that they pulled and after the fact, I noticed some of the stakes were broken. These were left piled up and not re-inserted in ground. I was looking at several moving companies in the Triangle for a long-distance move across multiple state lines, and after speaking with Sapphira, I knew Raleigh Moving Company would be my choice. She was so professional and informative, and I was really impressed when she told me that the company employs their movers full-time, and that many of the movers have worked for the company for years. The company is easy to get ahold of when you have questions, and everyone there is communicative and helpful. Sapphira was so helpful in coordinating logistics and answering complicated questions, and was so gracious and flexible when I had to change my move date. We also did a virtual walk-through the day before my move, so that she could be sure the team was fully ready for everything the following day. My movers were Travis and Wilson. Wow -- what a team!!! They were so professional, so courteous, and very experienced. It was clear that they really knew what they were doing, and that they were invested in the success of my move and in making sure I was happy with everything. They worked so hard and went above and beyond in multiple ways to help, and to make sure that everything was done correctly and to my specifications during both the move out and the move in. They took two full days to make the move. They originally gave estimate for one day but we ended up…read morepaying more than estimate. It caused us some inconvenience when they said they won't be able to unload and unpack same day. So we spent the night without any furniture, clothes, or anything for the kitchen. As it was all stored overnight in their truck. The crew of 6 were friendly, did their work and hustled. They were responsive to our needs and always polite. We appreciated that. However what didn't work well for us is that we lost a cabinet in the move that they dropped and it got damaged! Post the move we also spotted a few prominent damages to our furniture like a full chip off our brand new mango wood breakfast table, a rip near the leg of our living room loveseat. Chips off night stands. And skid marks near the door trimming and hardwood Floors. The prominent one was the sliding door new closet cabinet that we just cannot use because of the crack and breakage at the top and back entirely. They need to take better care with the move especially when the crew changes hands to finish the job. And if you're considering them make sure you double check and verify how long will it take and cost upfront. We were told one thing and what ended up happening was different.

The entire thing took almost 9 hours and cost close to $2500 (after I had to argue for a discount to unwrap the things myself). I was promised a fast move when I signed up for an third crew member. No one discussed budgetary constraints with me before this move or a not-to-exceed number. They charged $50 for a piece of cardboard on top of a table. Crew members were extremely slow and standing around for much of the move out until I asked them to finish by a certain time. I even loaded up two cars myself and moved the last load off the elevator alone. I went with All My Sons because I needed availability on short notice, but I regret this choice.
