I'm so glad I did, because Jeri was incredible! She greeted us right when we came in and was SO helpful. She showed us lots of great options for frames and gave us tips on viewing them with the painting. It was also great that we stopped in because Jeri showed us that the painting (which is on a wood board) is a bit crooked and would need to be trimmed down to even it out so it could be framed. I'm so glad I didn't just get something online because it definitely wouldn't have worked. Once we chose a frame, Jeri got me a quote and let me know it would be done in about two to three weeks, and we can pay when we pick it up. It definitely isn't cheap, but I think it's well worth it to take care of my original art that I will cherish forever! They also provide printing services, photo capturing, art reproduction, photo printing, and photo restoration.

At first, it was tough to find - it's in the basement of Frandor near the tanning place. From the second you walk in, you can tell this guy has everything - from fancy light setups for feature TV/films to speakers of various sizes and everything in between. Dave took the time to explain everything very thoroughly because he wanted to make sure our event went off well/we were prepared. During the gear testing, the original mixer was acting up - he rented us a nicer mixer for the same price - a sign of someone who cares about customer service. His prices were very reasonable for quality gear - music, ceremony and speeches were clear as a bell, even outdoors. His detailed hands on explanations made the setup simple and allowed the event to go off without a hitch. He even helped save my dad a trip back to Lansing from Metro Detroit by stopping in on Sunday to allow us to return the gear before heading home. Would definitely recommend them for any event AV needs - Dave cares about his craft and his customers and it shows.

came across the camera shop when i was in college, since moved to three different states, and still…read morecome back for every roll of film needing to be developed i got tired of paying walmart's prices for film development and then having to wait at least 2 weeks for my photos to come back. let alone, it took forever to get someone to come back to the photo department or on the phone to assist. since then, i've made the switch to the camera shop and refuse to go anywhere else. the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, in person and over the phone. film comes back quickly and in fantastic quality. with their new website, it's become so easy for those who are not local to place an order and allows easy access to developed photos. getting the notification that my photos are ready brings me so much excitement! i can only speak to the film development, but there are so many fun gadgets and photography tools and services here as well. love this place! highly recommend!
