Hidden gem alert. I stopped by on a whim for dinner, and walked inside this cute bistro with a few friends. We were quickly seated and split a few items from the menu which were all excellent. We had the tartufo pizza, citrus and beet salad and brussels sprouts. Service was quick and attentive. This spot is perfect for a date or a dinner out to catch up with one or two friends. I will definitely be back, and I can't wait to try out more items off the menu!

Brilliant local spot here in Harlem that is the perfect date night experience. Came here with my boyfriend for dinner on Friday and was blown away by Marlow Bistro! Everything from the Ambiance to the service was perfect. We had a reservation (highly recommended making a reservation as this spot gets busy) we were sat immediately near the window, which was a great spot for people watching. Our server immediately came over to greet us with water and then shortly after took our drink order; I had a dirty martini and my boyfriend had a glass of wine (if you are into bold red wines give a glass of the Thread Count a shot! So good!!) From there we ordered our dishes and here is what we had: Starter: - Salmon Rillete (really tasty almost like a tuna tartare) Main course: - Housemade Ricotta Gnocchi (best gnocchi I have had in a while, highly recommend; the brown butter really makes this dish!) - Marlow Burgers (my boyfriend said it was a perfect burger cooker to perfection- medium rare.) Both of us had fries and I can't stop talking about them! So crispy and flaky! Must try while you are here. I can't say enough about Marlow Bistro. I will definitely be returning with friends and can't wait to try something new on the menu. Thanks for a wonderful date night!

Their gnocchi is so good. The mushroom dish was great, but I wouldn't order it again. The carrot cake was a much enjoyed sweet treat. The service was okay, nothing above and beyond, but it wasn't poor service by any means. The restaurant itself was intimate and homey.

Food 5/5 we truly enjoyed the octopus Drinks 5/5 - both mezcal cocktails I tried were delicious Price: $$-$$$ Ambiance: 5/5 there's quite a lot of indoor and outdoor seating for Manhattan Valley Service: 5/5 the bartender Phillip was quite friendly and entertaining I met a friend here for drinks on a Monday night and it was surprisingly bustling, though there was plenty of space at the bar. I got the Pinerolo (a prickly pear mezcal drink) and the Drop it Like It's Hot (mezcal, lime and red clay spice). Both were delicious but only the rim on the Drop it Like It's Hot was spicy. I liked the prickly pear better of th. My friend got a gin martini followed by the Super Tuscan red wine blend, which she swears by. My friend is a regular here and this is one of her favorite cocktail spots. We shared the octopus, which was super tender and served with a small potato and cucumber salad topped with feta. It was a treat!

Stunned to see the secret charge added to our bill at this place, in addition to a random 20% upcharge. Nothing here was worth this price. Buyer beware!

The food was really good, service was really good. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. Will definitely come back again

Everything was amazing! From the food to the ambience to the service 10/10! Came here to celebrate my friend's bday and not only was the wait staff attentive throughout, they also asked beforehand if we wanted to order a few deserts beforehand so they can light up a candle to bring out at the end. Their cocktails are delicious and beautiful (I got the spill the tea) and their pasta portions are perfect - I was full but not stuffed by the end. I will definitely be back in the future! I also highly recommend their octopus appetizer - it was my favorite

The first thing I noticed was the ambiance of the restaurant. There is outdoor seating but we sat inside and they had the windows open so it was still nice and breezy. The decorations are beautiful, as they have flowers hanging from the ceiling. I ordered the salmon which was cooked really well and tasted fresh. My friends got the burger and Egg Benedict. I tried some of my friend's fries and it tasted really crispy, which I how I like my fries. The servers were also very attentive and kept checking up on us. Overall, had a really great experience dining here and would come back again!

Absolutely delicious! The best bread I've ever had at an Italian restaurant, and the ricotta gnocchi is wonderful. Great service!

Attentive service. Cozy atmosphere. Wish they would change up the menu. Food is a bit overpriced.

The Food: * Starters: The hummus and muhammara with pita were great. They also gave us bread with EVOO--it looked perfectly crusty on the outside and soft in the middle, and it tasted just as good as it looked! * Mains: I couldn't decide between lamb and salmon. The waiter suggested lamb, but I went with the salmon and it was the best decision. The citrus sauce on top was divine! Wish it came with rice instead of just veggies (though the veggies were tasty). The Service: The staff was friendly and service was good, but a heavy language barrier made it hard to understand the waiter, so he wasn't very helpful with menu questions. Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely come back later in the evening to catch the live music!

We had a dinner around 8pm on Friday but the restaurant was not busy at all. It appears it used to be a cuban restaurant but v the owner changed and became a Mediterranean. The menu was very simple and it was a BYBO. We told our server that we wanted to share every dishes. We really liked the hot crusty bread served with a spread and it also tasted good with babaganoush. The pita bread was stale and burnt which came out with the babaganoush. The beet goat cheese walnut was refreshing. The fried calamari was crispy and went well with tahini based sauce. The lamb shishi kebob was tasty but the portion was very small and it was chewy. There was too many overcooked carrots as a side. You coould park on the street or valet parking was available.

Held at the beautiful rooftop garden at Rockefeller Center overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral, the setting alone was worth the trip. As the sun set behind the Manhattan skyline, guests were treated to an evening that felt equal parts whiskey education, culinary experience, and celebration of American craftsmanship. The WhistlePig team put together an outstanding lineup of cocktails and rare whiskey pours, each thoughtfully paired with a multi-course dinner. Every course felt intentional, from the beautifully presented appetizers and seasonal produce to the perfectly cooked beef course and creative dessert finale. The food wasn't just an accompaniment to the whiskey it stood on its own. One of the highlights of the evening was host Max Miller of Tasting History. His storytelling added depth and context to each pour, connecting American history, whiskey culture, and the culinary experience in a way that kept the entire table engaged. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. The tablescape, service, pacing, glassware, cocktail program, and overall guest experience were executed flawlessly. Nothing felt rushed, and every element contributed to the story of the evening. WhistlePig continues to prove why they are one of the most innovative names in American whiskey. Yes, the views are amazing, however the weather has to be just perfect. Especially if you plan to use the outdoor patio. Which, why wouldn't you? The space itself is not for large groups, wedding party size approximately 50. Plus the wait, bar & other service staff. The location is prime, if you plan to take a car, remember this is NYC & traffic is bad. You can probably walk faster than a cab or car service. Especially during the month of December. NYC gets more visitors in December than all year long. The venue has 2 bathrooms for women which is not good, however worked for this crowd. Think of this location as a once in a lifetime, only if you have the funds for this location. As guests we were thrilled to be invited to such a lavish wedding!
