100% recommend Schine Health and will they will always be our go-to for primary medical needs…read more We started going there a year or so ago and were struck by how welcoming and kind Dr. Schine and his staff were. Everyone that works there is considerate of your medical needs and preferences, never pressures you into doing or taking something that you're not comfortable with, and consistently has your best interests in mind. We have gone to Dr. Schine mostly for cold/flu type care; but being a primary care physician, he can support you in a number of ways. Most recently, I went to him with what turned out to be a sinus infection. I was able to get a next day appointment (sometimes you can get same-day appointments) and, as always, was impressed and happy with the efficiency that the staff conducts the appointments. They accept a number of different insurance plans and are easily connected to local pharmacies to quickly get any prescriptions that is sent in. Levi and the rest of the front office staff are extremely helpful and caring to everyone as well; and will help with any insurance and/or billing questions. One can easily navigate their online appointment scheduling system so you don't have to wait for opening hours to schedule something; and they do offer virtual visits for some appointments. Schine Health is also fully inclusive, welcoming, and a safe place for supportive care for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC patients. Like I said above, I fully recommend Schine Health and will never go anywhere else!

I think we're going to get along .... just ..... *fine*. You wouldn't think that it would be something to be so nervous about, but healthcare in America has changed. Some doctors have become very hostile even abusive -- the worst thing to have to deal with when one is suffering through a health crisis. Of course, when they are nice, I love them. Looks like I found a keeper.

I recently had gone to the ER at my local hospital for severe throat swelling and pain. After…read morethoroughly checking me out and determining there was no infection, the ER Dr recommended I have a followup with my regular Dr within 3 days. I called the Dr office to set it up, but was told they couldn't see me for over a month. I explained the ER Dr had said I needed a followup within 3 days, that I was still experiencing severe symptoms, as well as explaining I had had a similar experience before with my throat swelling completely shut so my airway was blocked & I had to be intubated and on life support... and they still insisted I couldn't be seen for more than a month. I then went to their urgent care side and was checked by them, but same results as the ER... couldn't find what was wrong & causing my issue. I was told by the urgent care Dr that I needed to contact my primary and ask for a referral to an ENT. I again called Valley View Health Center, Suite F and asked my primary for this referral, explaining again my to to the ER and my followup through their Valley View Walk-in Clinic. I was told I still needed to come in and be seen before they would give me a referral... so I asked when I could be seen - and was told DECEMBER. This was on SEPTEMBER 22nd!! This was the final straw for me. I had problems being seen for various things before, but not like this! Found another Dr who could see me same day (today!) And will give me the referral I need to get me some answers, as this throat issue has now been going on for more than a month, now!

I was discharged one hour ago today, Sunday afternoon, October 3rd. From the moment my wheel chair rolled into the Emergency Room, I was treated well by all of the staff. Dr Alexander and Dr Kennedy took a shotgun approach to the evaluation process to find out why I had a 103.9 temperature after they realized that I tested negative for both strains of the Flu and Covid-19. Once they determined my diagnosis, I was moved to the second floor. The staff on the second floor were phenomenal and their professionalism is worthy of praise. Dr Manlapaz, Dr Stevens, and especially Dr Penoyar took excellent care of me. They were always friendly, took the time to listen, and always answered questions. The Nursing staff were great too. A special shout out to Teela, Luba, Cynthia, and Nikki. Last but not least, the Support Staff (i.e., CNAs, Kitchen staff, Imaging, etc.) were also very polite, professional, and gave nothing less than 100% while doing their jobs. In short, I am so grateful that we are all blessed to have such a wonderful Hospital staffed by so many kind and professional people eager to give all of us their best when we are at the lowest point in our lives. Thank you to everyone at Providence Centralia Hospital and God Bless all of you. Sincerely, Dr Matthew A Johnson Licensed Clinical Psychologist Chehalis WA

My husband went in the back himself to grab help. The nurse was quick to defend the receptionist stating that we were not being ignored and that I am standing and breathing I'm fine. Who in the waiting list room is monitoring me? Other patients?
