You can only imagine how fearful I was to even think about getting all the hair ripped out of my cookie. I spent so many years shaving, dealing with bumps and irritation, only to be disappointed when it all grew back in two days....until I met Marri. I met Marri through my hair dresser who suggested I get waxed. She said, "I know just the girl to go to, you can even just text her and tell her you need your cookie waxed, she will be the last person you ever go to." She was so right. I contacted Marri and she answered all of my questions upfront and explained to me the best amount of time to wait after shaving and even fit me in last minute before a Vegas trip!! Now I have to say I was sooo nervous the first time I was waxed because, well, lets be honest, it isn't the most comfortable thing in the world. But I forced myself to and after three weeks of no shaving....you have come too far to not go through with it. I showed up and was greeted by Marri. She has the most comforting, bubbly personality. Not to mention is very knowledgeable about what she does. She had me lie down and explained what she was going to be doing and gave me tips on how to make it hurt less. The best part was she talked to me through the whole thing. She asked me all sorts of questions to keep my mind off what was going on. The next thing I knew, it was over. I have gone back numerous time to see her, each time the pain is less and less. At one point it all happened so quick that I was more upset that we couldn't keep talking. She literally finished before I even finished the story I was telling her. She has an incredibly fun personality that really sticks with you. Recently I moved almost two hours away. I tried to go to a new woman to do my waxing, but it just wasn't the same. The feeling of catching up with an old friend, just seemed to be missing. Not to mention Marri has a way better technique. All of the previous reviews are true: Marri is amazing. I would pay double for her (although my bank account is happy I don't). She's incredibly fast: twenty minutes for a Brazilian, and that's from the time I walk in the door to when I leave. She uses soft wax / strips only, which is great for me as I've had nothing but bad experiences with hard wax. Plus, she's incredibly friendly. Whenever I'm there, I always feel like I'm chatting with a friend. Sadly, I've since moved out of the area and can't justify making the two hour drive more than once every few months.
