Amazingly friendly front desk staff, check in was a breeze, and they made sure that I knew exactly where to find the fitness room, the M lounge, and the restaurant. Maya is star, and without a doubt the friendliest person you could meet on arrival. She's the absolute sweetest! My preferences are for a higher floor with extra pillows, and I was absolutely accommodated. As a Marriott Bonvoy member it's always nice to be treated well. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is sparkling clean with lots of towels, and as mentioned plenty of pillows on that comfy bed! The M lounge is quite nice, they have morning and afternoon/evening options. I love being able to grab a soda or a bottle of water when I need one. read more

Have you ever driven up to a business and have that WTF moment? Well we did. 4 police cars sitting out front with the blue light special going on. Parking lot was packed. Went inside and it was chaos. Kids running around from what appeared to be a church function and people all dressed up. Police were at the front desk trying to find out who was being trespassed. Checked in finally made it to the room. Went inside needed to use the pullout sofa for our third. Pulled out the sofa bed and looked for sheets to make it. No dice had to go back through the gauntlet and ask the front desk. For bedding, pillows and a third set of towels. Front desk lady proceeded to lecture me on the bedding was located in the room. For real lady? I checked high and low and no bueno. You can't hide em in a one bedroom hotel room with a closet that has no doors. After explaining I wouldn't be down here asking if they were where she said they were. She immediately took out her phone and texted someone that was in charge of bedding and towels. After a while cart guy shows up gives me 2 pillows and 1 sheet. I sheet you not that's all the bedding I got. But it must have been my lucky day because I got 3 sets of towels. 1 sheet and 2 pillows but since I had extra towels I had to use a towel for a blanket, well at least a blanket that covered my belly. Attempted to use the ice machine but it was broken. And by the look of the dust buildup hasn't worked in some time. I took the elevator to the 2nd floor to get a cup of ice. Upon my return to the room I ran into cart guy and said the ice machine was broken. He said, "I fix tomorrow." Day 2 we left and saw that breakfast I think was $22. That's Vegas prices for a fancy breakfast but I'm pretty sure that's no Vegas breakfast. Came back later that night to a revival wedding reunion something. Went to the front desk and asked for a blanket sent to our room bra the towel blanket wasn't cutting it. Went up to the room and now teenagers running up and down the hall laying down in the elevators. Got to the room and it was loud with people yelling down the hallway. Did I mention the pullout bed was like sleeping in a Venus fly trap? The mattress was so beaten down it was like sleeping on a bed of nails like I was waiting for someone to break a cinder block off my chest with a sledgehammer. After close to 2 hours I'm like where's my blanket. I go out the room to the aroma of the Devil's lettuce wafting through the air. Good thing I'm retired and don't have to do drug testing anymore. Oh and the ice machine is still broken, so no "I fix tomorrow" happened. Got to the front desk and inquired about my blanket request and was told they were out of blankets. Ask them why no one let me know. No answer. She did offer to give me 2 sheets. Needless to say I was not happy but what can you do at this point? I grabbed my sheets and headed back to the room dodging round 2 of the church revival, wedding reunion reception thing. Get to my room and find out that I got me a sheet and a bed skirt. Day 3 was uneventful as the church group left. Just a terrible night sleeping in a Venus fly trap. read more

I'm a die hard Marriott Fan! I prefer Marriott over most hotels and I am a Bonvoy Reward member. This was not the worse hotel I've stayed in but there are some improvements NEEDED with customer service!! First, I requested a room not on the first floor, and I received a room in the first floor. I asked to be moved and was told: " we can't move you, we're sold out and all the room are assigned". Then asked are we the last to check in today, and she said no, so I asked can you switch our room with others, her answer, "that wouldn't be fair I'm sorry next time you should request multiple times to make sure we can accommodate you." WTF?!? Who does that? So we get to the room and there are; 1. Not enough towels and wash clothes. 2. The toilet wasn't working properly. I finally get towels. The next day all of my towels are gone like magic! The room was half way cleaned...they could've done better. I had to request more towels and retrieve them myself! The good about this place is that it's close to a lot of restaurants, gas stations, and not too far from OSI and downtown Columbus. I wouldn't stay here again, and this is my first time ever saying this about a Marriott. read more

My family were recent guests at Marriott Columbus Northwest for a convention 1/31 - 2/1/2026 and we were so VERY impressed by the room, faculties and staff. We had a minor issues with a door in our room during the stay and it was taken care of in less than 20 minutes. I've stayed at Hiltons, other Marriott's, Drury's and Sheraton's and I believe this as one of the best stays I've had - top marks to the management and staff. Highly recommended! read more

the hotel itself was great, downside apparently the Marriott is holding at least 100 children here for a soccer tournament, the children are the worst behaved group of children ever , they continued to run up and down and knock on every other guest room disturbing me and others throughout the night while all the parents of these children were allowed to drink alcohol in the parking lot (tailgating) and in the lobby , leaving all of these children by themselves and disturbing every guest . the parents did nothing about there awful children and the staff did not tell them they had to watch their own children while they screamed by room all night long and woke me up several times during my stay. I really felt like this was a zoo rather than a hotel. Some of the worst parents and children that I have ever encountered while on a trip . and there is over 100 of them in one place. read more

I've stayed at this hotel a couple times since writing this review, this review is basically an accumulation of my visits. There's definitely a lot to love about this place! There's so much parking here so you don't ever have to worry about ever worried about a full lot. There's plenty of rooms! There's a Starbucks on site! There's a bar that serves food. The rooms are by far outstanding, cozy and eye catchingly luxurious. I even got to stay in the master suite which was such a treat. Front staff is alright, the Starbucks sadly isn't represented with a full menu and hours which it's only downfall. The food pantry has a great variety or stuff to buy. It's got breakfast you have to pay for, there is a fitness room. It's full of meeting/conference rooms, definitely a great hotel I recommend for everyone to go to if your in the area. read more

Marriott Columbus Northwest - Master suite - Hotels Near Me - Dublin, Ohio

In Columbus for another business trip, and stayed at this Marriott for the first time (as opposed to the Residence Inn just south). This hotel is clean and and far more modern than the RI, with substantially upgraded food options in the lobby. The rooms are spacious and feel like a new hotel. I appreciate that this Marriott still offers individually wrapped toiletries (as opposed to the communal wall dispensers so many hotels are going to lately--those are just so gross!). Stylish barn doors on the bathroom and shower entries were also a nice touch. Will have to admit that the beds are extra firm, which took some adjusting to. The 24-hour exercise room is packed with a large selection of machines, including three different styles of bikes (a big plus for my Peloton regimen). I also thought it was a classy touch to offer up an overflowing fresh fruit bowl packed with apples and oranges for post-workout snacks. Upon checkout, I was disappointed to learn I had been charged for internet use, despite being welcomed on checkin as a Rewards member and having been told on that Rewards members enjoyed free WiFi access. The checkout clerk asked if I "used the code"--small problem, not only was there not a "use the code" option, but they didn't provide me a code. Didn't have time to bicker before heading for the airport, so I guess I am stuck with the internet use tax--live and learn. read more

We stayed here for a work banquet, and have mixed reviews. On the one hand the banquet facility and food were great, as were the front desk. However, I have never "slept" in a more uncomfortable bed! It wasn't bad enough that it was hard, but it was uneven. I ended up trying to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. My boyfriend and I were coming to town for a convention over the weekend, and were originally wanting to stay downtown but it was too expensive. I hopped on Expedia to find something else in the outskirts that would be affordable. Guys... I did NOT expect this place to be this nice! I snagged a deal of $83 for a night, which was not bad at all for this hotel. Everything was an easy process from start to finish. Our room was incredibly nice, was a super comfy bed and was a pretty specious room. This hotel has a lot of other amenities like a restaurant, Starbucks, fitness center and pool. It was snowing really bad the night we came in, and we were looking for some things to do. Literally like 10 minutes away is all kinds of stuff to do! Dublin is a very nice area in Columbus and has all kinds of restaurants, nightlife and shopping. The mall is also right across the street from here! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Columbus. Heck, I would have even paid a bit more for this place if I needed to! read more

Stayed one night on 7/13. TV didn't work and the Front Desk said Engineering told them it was a known problem and nothing they could do that night. No other rooms were available. I ordered room service for dinner at 9:45. It was never delivered. It showed up on my bill and had to be taken off. I did love the bed and shower but I won't go back. read more

tl;dr: in the winter's AC system heats your room up well but does not cool your room. For someone like me who likes to sleep cold, that is unfortunately not an option at this hotel. I stayed here for four nights recently. I thought that in the winter maybe the air conditioning system would be a better situation. I was mostly wrong. The heat works very well in the winters but the cooling is non-existent, when you try to cool your room it just turns off the heat and turns on the fan. My rating is based on a recent experience I encountered while staying at the Columbus Northwest Marriott this past weekend. Upon arriving to the hotel, as I went to check in, I was informed that my room was not available. This was at approximately 6:30 P.M. I was surprised to learn this, since check in started at 4:00 P.M. However, as I surveyed the room, I saw the lobby was full of other guests that were waiting for their rooms, as well. The front desk clerk told me it would be another 15 minutes until our room would be ready; she took my number and told me I would get a call once available. This was concerning to hear, as I had plans to be somewhere soon. After 15 minutes passed, I checked to see if the room was ready yet. Another worker informed me that it was still not ready and that it was currently being "inspected". There was no approximate timeline on how long this would take. I informed the worker that I had somewhere I needed to be but needed to check into my room first. I then proceeded to ask them how something like this could happen. The hotel's response was that "it wasn't their fault" and that it had been "a really tough day for them". The reasoning for rooms not being available was that the majority of their guests from the night before requested a late check out (2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.) Since they were elite members, the hotel could not tell them no. Another excuse given was that it was a very busy weekend for them. My response to that is this: if it was anticipated to be a busy weekend, why would the hotel property allow guests to have such a late checkout? I realize some members may request a late checkout, which Marriott does their best to honor. However, I know of other Marriott locations that do not allow late checkouts in some instances for this very reason. It is the responsibility of the hotel management to ensure there is enough time, workers, and resources available to ensure rooms are ready and accommodate guests. If there are guests that request a late checkout, in which it causes others not to have their room on time, I believe the guest should be charged for another night. That way, the hotel can let others know it is booked and people can look elsewhere and not have to wait around. My overall wait to get into my room was over an hour. I kept checking back every 15/20 minutes and every time I was told the room was being "inspected". When I finally did get to my room, it certainly wasn't up to Marriott standards as far as presentation and cleanliness goes. It didn't look like the room got properly vacuumed, there was a mini hole in the light socket, and the bathroom had debris on the counter. Not only that but being granted access to my room over 3 hours after check in caused me to be late to my event and was a major inconvenience to me and others. I cannot believe there were so many guests waiting for their rooms due to a lack of organization and common sense by the management staff. It is the hotel's job to ensure rooms are being cleaned and ready for guests at the time it is promised, at the very least. It seems this property needs to re-prioritize. They did end up comping the room for me (which was something), but it seemed very matter-of-fact and insincere. I was never issued an apology or any kind of reasonable explanation. It seemed more like a cop-out so they wouldn't have to deal with upset hotel guests. I was issued a "generic" based e-mail from Marriott about my experience. They apologized for the hotel not meeting my expectations. To me, if assuming my room being ready on time is having too high of expectations, I think the Columbus Marriott needs to re-prioritize. Overall, my experience with the Columbus Northwest Marriott was extremely disappointing. The other person I was sharing a room with commented, "Marriott hotels are usually top notch. They must have gone downhill". As a loyal Marriott customer, I wanted to argue this point. However, after this experience, I don't have much positive to say. read more

Nice entrance and the room is clean. Beds are full size so be ready for tight quarters. Came as a hockey team and our rooms were dispersed all over the hotel. That was frustrating. Breakfast is not included and opens at 7am. That becomes a hassle when the kids have games at 7 (see how they can't be in two places at once and therefore have to stop elsewhere extra early..). Many of the hotels respect the needs of the travel teams and either pack a breakfast or offer continental breakfast starting at 6am. It's a play to pay situation where the players are forced to stay in a designated hotel. This was that hotel. There was a dart tournament happening the same weekend so the kids got to hear lots of new words and had to walk through the clouds of smoke when the players took their smoke breaks in front of the building. After much complaining (and ultimately paying for it) the team was given a room to eat and play in. Can't bring your own food/alcohol so be ready for that bill too. Probably would have liked this hotel as an adult but not as a hockey mom! read more

The front lobby staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed, while equipped with Marriott's signature Revive collection, only revived me from being able to sleep comfortably. Incredibly lumpy, I had to constantly adjust my position. It certainly was not characteristic of other Marriott Revive beds I've slept in. The bathroom is a bit on the small side, but with ample counter space, and the water pressure out of the shower is good. The gym is located on the first floor and is open 24 hours. There are five treadmills and three stair climbers equipped with individual TVs. Apparently the Marriott also has an agreement with nearby Metro Fitness if you present a valid room key and ID. As for disclaimers, I have not tried that club, and the reviews are definitely not favorable. The Concierge Lounge is accessible via room key on the 7th floor and offers traditional beverages, food, and snacks for Marriott status holders. It is open between the hours of 6:30 am - noon (breakfast until 9:30 am) and 5 pm - 10 pm (hors d'oeuvres until ?) on weekdays. read more

First time at this marriott. My room is exceptional. Everything looks brand-new. It is a very large room with a king size bed. The bathroom is well stocked and very clean. Check in was very quick and both employees were exceptional. They even walked me to the elevator. I highly recommend this Marriott. Ask for room 543 if you want the one I had. read more

This is a classic case of lipstick on a pig. Looks good in the photos but once you scratch beneath the surface, it's a shit show. Our toilet overflowed every time we flushed. They came in to fix it while we went to the bar for a drink and still left the wet dirty towels we used to clean up the water on the floor. They had no breakfast options excepts a buffet that was designated for one company. The Starbucks is no longer open. It's just not a good experience. read more

When we heard that the Marriott Northwest in Dublin recently renovated their (entire) space and added a new restaurant that incorporated all of the local things I love about this city, we had to try it out. When you're sitting in Two Brothers, the restaurant, you don't even realize you're in a hotel. The staff, managers, chef, and bartenders are all happy to be there and share with you their knowledge about the menu and where each of their ingredients are sourced from. Their menu is loaded with locally sourced items such as beef from Longdale farms in Cincinnati or all of the pasta, which is made in house. Take one look at the bar, and you'll recognize just about any beer/liquor that's available to order! With vodka from Watershed Distillery and OYO or beer from local breweries like Rhinegeist and Platform, you know you're in the heart of Ohio when looking at the menu. Cocktails are creative and refreshing, and my absolute favorite was the "OH Brother", which combined OYO Pumpernickel Rye whiskey with a Sweet Potato syrup. I couldn't get enough, and I'm not usually a whiskey girl! And sweet potato syrup?? It's now going to be one of my at-home bar staples. I'm a big fan of appetizers, and their long list of choices between apps and small places is NOT lacking. Fried brussels sprouts with crispy pork belly was my number one favorite. Baby, I'll be back for more. For those gluten free folk, the kitchen is happy to serve flatbreads on gluten free dough as well as swap any pasta dishes for gluten free pasta. Looking for something a little more organic? The Rice Bowl (white rice, house cured bacon, kimchi, egg, green onion, and cilantro) is easily customizable with choices to add Gerber Farms chicken, Longdale Farms flat iron steak, or shrimp. read more

I will preface this review by saying I'm not the biggest fan of Columbus. I have had to go there a couple of times lately, but I am a big fan of the Dublin/Hilliard area. These suburbs are clean, lots going on, plenty of places to eat and shop. I was very happy to find this hotel, just off I-270. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood. The outside & landscaping are all very nice. The staff couldn't be nicer. The hotel interior is very clean. They have a restaurant and bar area. There is also a Longhorn Steakhouse next door, if you prefer that. My room was very clean and comfortable. I was able to keep it cool with the fan running all night. The TV had decent cable, plus internet TV capabilities in case you wanted to watch your subscribed streaming services. The bed was very comfortable. It also had a microwave and a mini fridge. And their blackout curtains worked very well. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the hallway noise last night was terrible. It was loud in the hallways with people slamming doors until well after 2am. Also, I do not like the trend of hotels making every room with shower stalls. I like a shower in the morning and a bath at night. Provide a tub with a shower or one of each. But this is my go-to hotel whenever I have to go to the Columbus area. read more

The staff that I interacted with were all friendly and professional, especially the young woman that checked me in. This hotel has recent renovations that are beautiful! The lobby and rooms are very modern. TV's in rooms have Netflix access which I love!!! My only complaint would be the temp in my room at night! I set it at 65 degrees but woke up sweating so bad both nights, I had to change clothes. I would absolutely risk it by staying here again because it could have just been the room I was in. This was one of the best stays we have had in any hotel, and we travel quite a bit. The staff was very friendly at check in, and had everything handled quickly. The hotel has a modern looking interior, and was very clean. Our room was nicely furnished, again with modern design. The room was spotless, and the beds comfortable, exactly what you want in a hotel. Our kids also enjoyed the pool, and the fitness center was very nice. Next time we are in Columbus, we we certainly stay here again. read more

If there was a "ZERO RATING" for this MARRIOTT in DUBLIN it would be my rating! Checking into the room we found a bed not made, one pillow (not sure where the other one went) on the floor and no soap for the bathroom sink. Front desk offered to call housekeeping but when we return to the room later that evening the room hadn't been touched. Front Desk sent sheets and expected us to change our own bed! Sheets didn't fit and another set of sheets delivered to room were also the wrong size. This hotel ran out of blankets as well so we slept on sheets that didn't fit the bed and used our second set of sheets as blankets. Additionally - someone's sandwich was in the mini frig which tells me no one even came into the room except to strip the bed! Front Desk needs "customer service" training and certainly should offer and know how to properly make a bed instead of expecting a customer to make it! No calls from the General Manager - even though the Front Desk was notified that I expected a call about our hotel stay. M Club closed on weekend but it likely would have been filled with young soccer players and their families because this seems to be what the hotel caters to anyway! read more

Highly recommend this hotel. I travel a lot for business and this may be the best Marriott I have visited. My husband and I just completed a two night stay this past weekend and hated to leave. This is saying something since I can find flaws in most operations :) The staff is uniformly friendly and welcoming. We had a corner room which was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant/bar area has a nice ambiance and a good selection of wine and beer, in particular. The omelets we had at breakfast were excellent! Lawrence, the new food and beverage manager, seemed to be everywhere interacting with guests and ensuring they were satisfied. Overall, the hotel and rooms/facilities and clean, up to date, and well maintained. We felt welcome from the moment we stepped in the front door and greeted by Tim, the night clerk, until the moment we left. I don't see how you could ask for better from a hotel. I hit the jackpot. At about 930PM I walked I into the hotel to see if they had a room for the night. Likely for me they did and they ladies working the front desk were very nice. Oh, Marriott in Dublin. I am giving you a huge MEH. I've experienced better. I am a 10 year fan of the Marriott Hotel chain. I have had great experiences at most every hotel that I have visited. This one is an exception. Although the front desk clerk was nice and friendly, she also gave me a room at the very end of the hall way, next to a cleaning closet that was propped open more than half the time, making me a little fearful when going to my room. Yes, I am sure for the most part, a hotel in Columbus is relatively safe. But I still got the heebie-jeebies walking down the long hallway to my room. And it was not like that hotel was full, there was probably a total of 5 cars in the parking lot on a Sunday afternoon. Why not give a female traveler a more appropriate room location? Any other Marriott, and I would get my room upgraded. My Gold status got me nuttin' here. Another couple minus stars for their gift shop. When traveling, you are inevitably going to forget something. And the gift shop should be stocked with necessities. So, when I was in desperate need of Advil, I called to front desk to inquiry as to where I might be able to buy some. I had developed a migraine, and although I have prescription medication, it does not work without Advil. They told me that I could get Advil in the gift shop. I made the trek downstairs, only to find the location of Advil bare. Then I had to wait until they contacted the bell hop to see if some was in the back room. No such luck. So, it was up to me to take my pounding head back upstairs to get my car keys and sunglasses and go out and about the town seeking a local Walmart. Not good. Then two days later, I encountered a man in the gift shop desperately looking for Advil. You can see their sense of urgency in keeping needed items in stock. This leads to yet another negative experience. Since I has recovering in my room mid morning, I had posted my DTD sign on the door. Housekeeping passed me over, thank you. They were kind enough to leave a note to call the front desk at a time when I was ready to have my room cleaned. Which I did. However, I came back to my room after 6 pm, hours later, to find that they did not get the message to housekeeping, my room was untouched. There are positives about this place. I can think of one right now. The morning person at the concierge lounge was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful. And she even remembered me next day and was thoughtful in some of her comments. World class service from her. Minus points for me, I do not remember her name. But there is nothing nicer than being away from home, traveling all alone and having a friendly face. All in all, so meh, the next time I find myself in this area, I will be steering clear of this hotel. read more

We were in town for the night. We stayed here for the first time. This hotel is very large. They have a restaurant and bar. Didn't try out due to construction, and that I wanted to go out in Dublin and find some places to try. It was noisy when we were there. Some lacrosse tournament going on. Kids were very obnoxious on the elevator and waiting around. However, I was a kid once too. It's very normal. The staff was really friendly. I've stayed in lots of places while traveling around Columbus. This was in a really nice location next to lots of places to eat, and or driving spots were close. I recommend this place. At check in they told us they were charging us $403, even though our reservation for 2 nights was $305. $50 a night additional for incidentals. When you live on a tight budget that xtra $100 is difficult. They might want to tell people about the additional charge when they reserve their room. Then 5 mins after checking in and splitting the xtra charge on 2 credit cards to make it work, our card that was on file to reserve the room, which I specifically said DO NOT CHARGE, gets charged as well. So now I have been charged $806 for a $305 reservation. Now I have to spend an hour on the phone with my bank at the front desk telling them to cancel that charge bc the hotel messed up and that it CANNOT take 3-5 business days to get my money back BC THATS ALL WE HAD!!!!! Now bc of the front desks mess up I am overcharged on my room, Broke with no money hours from home, and my bank account is overdrawn. Finally after getting that figured out, mind u it's now an hour after I've gotten here, we get to our room and there's just dust on everything and mold growing in the track of the shower door. It doesn't look like our room has been properly cleaned in quite some time. Last but not least, we had to have "engineering " come to our room 4 times in 36 hours of staying to unclog the toilet. Fantastic service! I booked a rooms in July for my in-laws coming to town and they loved it! They said kudos to Zachary, and front desk for helping make them comfortable. We pulled off a surprise party with the amazing help of Michael in Sales and Chad and Sam in banquets. What a great staff. A great weekend was had by all. read more
