My husband bought me a necklace from here and it was fine but not really my style so we traded it in for a band to my engagement ring which I had wanted for awhile. My engagement ring has alot of pretty detail on the front and back so I needed a low profile white gold or platinum band soldered onto it. I came here for a quick battery change for my watch. They asked me if I had a few minutes, which, when there's sparkly things to look at, of course I do! My watch disappeared into the back, and I moseyed around the shop. The shop itself isn't very huge, and for a place called "Marry Me", their selection of engagement rings seemed pretty limited- one case only! They did have a nice selection of other items like crosses, religious metals, charms for bracelets, and a large case of sale items too. The staff was kind in offering to let me try on/see closer any item that appealed to me. A few minutes later, my watch came out, perfectly set, no damage from the opening of the back of the watch. Cost was $8 for my watch, but of note, a man who had a more expensive watch was charged more, so I'm guessing the price varies with the complexity of your watch system and quality. If I'm ever so lucky to get engaged, this would not be on my list of stores to look for, but for other jewelry, and the watch batteries, I'd definitely return. read more

If you show them a picture of a ring you see somewhere else, they will MAKE IT for you for a looooooot cheaper than you saw it for, believe it. To follow up on the client service/ring situation. I ended up going in a few weeks after they said they would order me a replacement ring. Since they had a wax mold, I was a bit surprised that I needed to go back in, but did anyway. Because the replacement was never ordered, we discussed options of the changing the setting a bit to better fit the diamond and wedding band. For my fiances sake, we didn't discuss numbers, but figured a non-custom, lighter-weight, same caret would be an even exchange, if not less a expensive setting? (I wasn't looking for a refund) So, swapping out the ring at no additional cost was an awesome client service gesture as they had already had to create a new ring. However, ordering the wrong size, taking a month longer than expected and asking my fiance to pay MORE when we went to pick it up was unbelieveable. We were both ready to ask for our diamond back and forget the ring. After nicely saying we were not paying additional under the circumstance, the guys offered up a firm handshake and we walked out, both thinking we won't be back.... On our way home, I noticed the new ring didn't look that great and made my finger feel swollen. Sure, it was warm out, but I didn't recall my original ring feeling tight? The owner confirmed it was the correct size, so I believed him. Regardless, even after just 15 minutes of leaving, we were not about to go back and get it sized.... Within a few days, we took the new ring to another local jewlers to find out it was almost a full size too small. Needless to say, $65 dollars (to have it re-sized) and nearly three months later, my engagement ring finally fits. read more

I would give this store zero stars if possible. I only needed to get my finger sized and just in the 20 minutes I was in there, I did not know how this place stays in business. I wasn't acknowledged for the first 5 minutes of sitting down. I sat down by the rings in hopes would be taken care of fast so I could get out. (High prices for the quality they had to offer). While waiting to be taken care of, a lady actually walked up to me and whispered in my ear that I could get better rings at Sam's Club, yes, Sam's Club. I was shopping for an engagement ring, knew nothing about diamonds, and Gino sat down with me and my then girlfriend and showed us diamonds using a normal white light on white paper and educated us on how to look at a diamond, what is most important etc. Then, based on my budget, he helped me find the perfect one. He always stayed within my budget, he never tried to upsell anything that was out of range, even if it was nicer. He is also able to do custom rings. He can take different parts of different rings, and custom make it into a one of a kind ring that is exactly what you want. It's great that my fiancee has a ring that is literally one of a kind, and it's not any more expensive than if I got one that was pre-made. My fiancee's ring is gorgeous, and she always gets complimented on it. He gave me a realistic timeframe for when things could be done, and was in contact with me constantly. I got the ring without a problem or delay. I'm happy to be shopping for wedding rings with him right now. One of the first things he told us when we met him is he wants to be people's family jewelry person for their lifetime, and I think the casual, laid back nature of the store helps with that.
