I'm surprised by the negative reviews. We had a good experience with Mars Valet. From coordinating the walk through of our wedding venue to the service on the day of our wedding, they were great and easy to work with! Our wedding was in Malibu and the street we were having our reception on was super wind-y, curvy, and hilly (typical Malibu) and I was very nervous about the parking situation for our guests but Mars Valet managed to park all the cars safely and securely in the area and we had positive feedback from our guests on how easy it was for them to drop off and pick up their car. They're really quick to charge your card before getting any form of approval or sending you any documentation of final balance. They were part of my contract with our venue for our wedding. So needless to say, I had no choice on the matter for which valet company I wanted to use, so I was stuck. They were quick to respond to my original inquiry about booking, my contract stated payment would be charged two weeks prior to event date. They charged my card early even when I put it in writing in my email, that I wanted a copy of the remaining balance BEFORE charging our credit card. Within seconds of me sending that email for our final guest count plus my written statement (which was about three weeks to my event), i received a receipt for the payment. They tried to lie and tell me that it states in our contract that payment is due a month prior to event. I have a WET signature document that shows final payment is due TWO WEEKS prior to event. They said they changed their policy. I preceded to tell them that I didn't care considering that's not the agreement I signed and for them to reread their own documents. Not a single apology from them except, "Oh, we must not have changed it on your document before signing. All of our customers don't have an issue paying early." I don't really care about your other customers, nor was the money an issue, it's the fact that you breached your own contract without getting your customers final approval on the balance due when the contract was a working contract. That being said, no one complained about their service at my wedding, so I can't deny that they might at least have good employees, but the management side could use some work. read more

First I would like to thank Mars Valet Parking. I reserved 2 vans to shuttle wedding guests and wedding party from our hotel to my daughter's wedding reception and then stand-by to give everyone a ride back to the hotel when the reception was over, about 6 hours. On the day of the wedding they where on time and did what was asked of them, no problems , no issues, the drivers where polite and attentive. I had no problem contacting them though out the evening if someone needed a ride back the the hotel for any reason. I was very happy with the Mars company and will use them again when needed. read more

Would not recommend Mars Valet. They made an error by NOT SHOWING UP to our hotel to transport the Bridal Party. After multiple call attempts, I had no answer from anyone on the team. This was even after I had a confirmation call the night before confirming times. I never received any call back but instead an email stating they messed up the time in their end. I booked the shuttle service for only my bridal party and parents - this would have been the easiest gig for them for drivers to only have to make 1 round trip. With being on a tight schedule already for our wedding, I was left scrambling trying to find someone to transport us to the venue. Because of this hiccup, I arrived to the venue over an hour behind and lost time for crucial photos and the extra hours I paid for at our venue went to waste. Our entire bridal party ended up driving their own cars to the venue. After the wedding I found shuttles waiting for us... I never received any follow up calls from Mars to apologize or come up with a solution. They refuse to refund me the full amount of my bill and after speaking with someone, they downplayed the issue and said they were "ONLY an hour late". From that one hour, I lost over $400 in extra rental time paid at the venue plus lost on photos I will never receive. I pre-paid gratuity. After their small refund, I only received a little off the bill. I would not recommend this team and after reading reviews I see this is not the first time they No-Showed to a wedding at the specified time. read more

They Broke Our Car!!!! This is the worst valet company I've ever experienced. We drove a classic 70s BMW 2002 to Mediterraneo in Westlake Village. First they force you to valet your car, then after explicitly asking if we could park the car ourselves (because it's a classic and not many people know how to drive it) & just pay the valet fee they decline. But they let a Ferrari owner park his own car! - Hypocrites! After dinner we're waiting in line to pick up our car, they said they can't move it. Turns out they broke the transmission, the stick shift is limp & completely damaged! The only female employee not only broke it but lied about it to our face with an attitude. This is the worst valet company I have ever experienced & the fact that Westlake Village Inn & it's restaurants are using them is embarrassing. There's a reason there's no reviews for this company. We'll never go back here. We will have dinner & take our other rare cars to Santa Barbara before we ever come back here again because of this valet company. read more

I have been working with Mars Valet and Shuttle, going on 7 years now. They are always very reliable with great pricing, and continue to grow their fleet for transportation services. It's reassuring to know that I can send my couples to them, and they will be well taken care of! We hired MARS Valet for our wedding at Quail Ranch and I can say from the feedback I've received that their service was top notch. Our guests were very impressed with how friendly and prompt they were and how convenient both the drop-off and pick-up locations were (which is a huge plus considering some of the older family members in attendance). They stayed until the very end and made sure every last guest had their car. Our wedding was at Quail Ranch in late April. Mars Valet Parking are incredible prompt and professional and have their system down - especially at a venue like QR. Their staff was quick and efficient. We had about 160 guests, so keep in mind at the end of the night it takes much longer to bring the cars up, but Mars Valet worked diligently and effectively to get them out ASAP! read more

I worked with mars valet at a wedding recently at Quail Ranch. It was such a amazing experience!! They were not only efficient but also super nice and professional. When I was ready to start loading items in my car they not only brought my car up for me but also offered to help load it! I was so grateful since some of the items were pretty heavy. There was one guest who has trouble walking so the valet team made sure to have a car ready and waiting to take her to each location (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) they definitely went above and beyond! We just used Mars Valet at our Quail Ranch wedding for our daughter. The customer service staff were a pleasure to work with, and I received no complaints from any guests. They received our guests' vehicles down by the reception, and it was great that they moved the location at the end of the evening to the top of this steep driveway to accommodate our guests. I would not recommend hiring this company. My wife and I hired them on our wedding day and the shuttle that was scheduled to pick her up the morning of never showed up. Not the way you want to start your wedding day. After we called to complain we were offered a discount for the missed shuttle and an additional 10% off of our total order for the inconvenience. We have been following up with Samantha who is a Supervisor at their Service Center via multiple phone calls and emails and while they agreed to mail us our check back in June, we have yet to receive it. Samantha writes really nice emails that lead you to believe she wants to rectify the situation, however she is constantly stalling, lying, and her promises are empty as I can conclude they carry no weight at this point. They refuse to send us a tracking # for the check and have stopped responding to our emails and phone calls. They were quick to take our payment months in advance of our wedding, however they have disappeared on the refund they have promised us. I am reporting them to the BBB in hopes that they do not continue this business practice with anyone else moving forward. read more

I can't say I dealt with them directly on the day of my wedding because I was at the venue all day, but all my guest said they were professional and provided great service. Mars Valet was recommended to me by my wedding venue owner. The venue was a vacation home with very limited parking on a rough dirt road so it helped a lot that they were familiar with the venue. Their standard start time is only 30 minutes prior to the event start time and we had a lot of guests show up earlier than that, so I probably should've paid extra to have them start earlier. They stay until 30 minutes after the event end time which was fine- we had some people stick around so we just had those cars moved closer and they gave us all of the keys. The only hitch was when Mario, the owner, came up to me an hour prior to the event end time and told me there were 20 cars left and asked what I wanted him to do. I was irritated because of course there were 20 cars left...my wedding was still going on for another hour and he was to stay another half hour beyond that. I let him know we'd make sure he knew what to do with any leftover cars once the event was over and he was fine with that so everything went well but I was a little put off that he was trying to wrap things up so early. read more
