My foot is in need of repair and-- my left knee needs replaced. He is VERY experienced and he was extremely thoughtful in how to explain my situation without talking over my head. ALL he said and did make GREAT sense to me. We can try the nonsurgical method of treatment after the knee is put in. If I needed a more complicated procedure, he openly/honestly said it could be done-- although a colleague Surgeon of his, who is experienced with that procedure, he would recommend to me. We both agreed to try the less invasive first...and THAT being done AFTER I got the new knee. He told me to talk it over with my knee surgeon 1st and see if he agreed. I did..and my Knee surgeon is in total agreement with Dr. Conui's assessment and gave him high praises for such an accurate, well educated & honest opinion. Dr. Conui will always be my Podiatrist/Surgeon from now on until he retires. The staff in his Wakefield, Ma. office are TOP NOTCH also! VERY GOOD group there. Made m feel at home!

My 88-year-old mother went to Dr. Kelly to have a callous removed from her foot. Before removing it…read morethey gave her compression socks to put on as they said her balance was off. She stated she did not want these socks as this is not what she came in for. They insisted that she take the socks home and was charged for them. They also insisted that they x-rayed her ankles and again my mother said she did not want an x-ray but they insisted that she have one.She tried to return the socks and was told they could not except them back. The fee for her office visit was $700. A year later she received another bill for $700 even though she had not returned to Dr. Kelly's office. It seems Dr. Kelly takes great advantage of his patients. I do not recommend using him.

Hello Marie, Please…read moretake note my review was from 2014. I was a patient of Dr. Kelley's prior to then. It does not surprise me that there is no record of me in the system as at the time the staff could barely track my co-pays. Additionally, if you identified that I was a patient at any time you would be in breach of HIPAA. Again, wouldn't be surprised given the way the practice was 5+ years ago. I currently recommend Podiatry to my patients who are unable to cut their own nails or due to medical reasons should have a professional do it (DM, anticoags) and I have never seen a podiatrist go 4 months between appts. Dr. Kelley went that long at times to schedule appts with my grandparents. If called to check in on an appt- the staff would inform us about waiting for a filled list to justify home visit. Lastly- physical therapists do their job when we never see a patient again for the same problem- the goal is to treat and educate NOT to keep a patient coming back for more and especially not for necessary appts so we can bill insurance and charge another copay. Seems to me like it would benefit Dr. Kelley to charge someone for more appts than refer to PT to actually address the problem. Ultimately as a clinician I advocate for myself as well as my clients and based on my treatment alone I would not recommend anyone to this practice. I can only hope it's improved- for the conscience of the practice but truly to better serve those who don't have any other options.
