When it comes to a company managing one of your most expensive assets, your home, who that company…read moreis - is extremely important. Saw on another review site where they had hundreds of positive reviews - and started to dive deeper in their reviews and that's honestly what stood out to me - to make me choose them. It wasn't their positive reviews - it was actually their negative reviews. Almost every single negative review was addressed - but not with a simple, generalized statement. But with extensive details that explains why the tenant is upset and how the company tried to resolve it, and sometimes the issue is that the company was protecting the homeowner. Now Copper Key Realty took over my home to manage during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and there was some adjustments as mostly everyone was working from home - but overall it was a smooth process. Ms. Cheryl Strong was available via e-mail and quick to respond to any questions - never made me feel like I was wasting her time - before I signed the dotted line to commit. Also, whenever I spoke to staff - whoever answered the phone always tried to answer my questions or concerns. They never tried to pawn me off on someone else. The contractors they use, they pass the savings onto the homeowner. Looking through the itemized repair list - I definitely could have paid more prepping the home to get tenant-ready. Seems like documents and payments come through like clockwork. Whoever takes the pictures and lists the home does an amazing job. There was 'conversations' of what I wanted to list the home for - yet due to the amazing work of everyone - from the minute the home listed to the minute the listing was taken down was only 72 hours! But it was all this and more that stood out to me from when I compared it to other management companies. Those things being that their website and portal stood out, fees were simple to understand, and being an animal lover they don't seem to charge a monthly pet fee to the tenant. (As other companies do) Definitely happy with my decision and as long as the relationship remains positive I can definitely see myself using them to also sell the property whenever that may be.

This company charges you and extra 60 dollars a month for a package that you cannot get out of to send you a box of air filters. They try to charge you extra fees if you are not fast enough to respond to an email. If you are going to renew your lease they charge you an extra 250$ that you do not know about until the time to renew. This company will find a way to nickel and dime you at every single turn. They do not upkeep the properties when they are vacant. When I moved into a place managed by them half the lights in the house were burnt out. The one door I missed on my walk through that led to a pantry had its walls covered with black and green mold. (This did get fixed). You have to jump through more hoops to rent from these people and pay more than what it would be just to buy a house. Do youself the favor, if you see this company, just keep it moving... it is not worth your time, health, or the increased hassle or stress.

They are condescending and impatient when they return phone calls (usually a week later, and after repeated attempts to make contact). They consider calling once and not leaving a message a valid form of "communication". I would 100% choose a different property management company to monitor and protect our home. They could care less, and their attitudes show with any/every interaction. Disgusting! After hearing horror stories from various people regarding housing purchases, I wouldn't consider buying or selling a home through this company either!

It took three weeks for maintenance to come out, and when they did, they turned the water back on, the leak had frozen closed so they could not see it and so they charged me for coming out. Within a week there were huge icicles forming as the water slowly crept back through the lines. It took over a month to come back out and look at it. Then they charged me again! What assholes! The house would have flooded if I did not shut of the water when the leak started. Every time I call the maintenance manager Sharron about the dispute she claims she is looking into it. Never calls back. It has been since August. Its a week from Christmas now and I am done trying with these dorks. All my previous maintenance requests have been poorly handled as well, for instance, I had a clogged sink upstairs which they came to look at after 42 days, and after they left it was clogged again within 2 weeks. I had a similar issue with my garbage disposal which stopped working and they literally replaced it with a tiny piece of garbage that barely grinds anything. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE QUICK TO SIGN YOU UP. IT IS SO EASY TO APPLY, AND THEN THEY BEND YOU OVER AND SCREW YOU HOWEVER THEY CAN. There are plenty of other places to rent from in Clarksville. Hidden fees will be added to your rent and you are forced to pay them to save your credit.

If you live in Clarksville please avoid this company. Their lack of attention to detail, general…read morelack of concern, and mismanagement of property is appalling. I honestly do not have a single good thing to say about this company. Here are a few details: - tenant completely removed and replaced kitchen floor. They didn't realize it and called me a liar when I told them it was not the original flooring. Also told I was financially liable to get it back to its original condition. - consistently charges for fees that fall under tenant responsibility per the lease - never charged vacating tenants for damages. - failed to take any pictures when placed online for rent. Simply pulled photos from google of when I purchased the house years before putting it on the market. - a laundry list of other items in disrepair that should have been fixed, to include a leaking front door that has now resulted in floor rot. Just a few examples and I have so many more. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a property management company. I might suggest My Place Realty, which is who I am with now.

I am in the military and very proud of the first house I purchased, unfortunately they didn't feel the same pride. They did very little to manage my home. I came home and did a drive by to find mis matched shingles (brown and black) on it, outside looking horrible. It broke my heart to see my pride and joy run down and unattended, (yes people were living in it). When I called and asked why the house looked the way it did, I was told they were busy and my house was too far out to keep a close watch. It didn't end there. I should of changed at that time property management, but as most military I was out the door again on another deployment and just didn't have time to change things. It was a wind fall of missteps and carelessness of their part, not informing me of issues, over charging maintenance, basically they just took their management fee and did as little as possible managing my property. It got to the point when I saw an email or call from them I expected the worse, because that's exactly what it was. I expressed my concerns numerous times, but it's like they knew I was at a disadvantage not being co located and was reliant on them. Thankfully I have changed property management, and Rent TN Property has been a delight and breath of fresh air. Do not use Fast Train Property, they cause more stress and issues than anything. They do not care about your property or you as an owner. Look at their ratings across the sites, they are low for a reason. Majority of the complaints from owners I have experience myself. I tempered myself in this review, the list of unprofessionalism, carelessness, missteps, and actual do not care attitude is LONG.
