My husband & I decided to drop by in the new location not very far from the old place that we used…read moreto shop. When we entered the store, we were surprised by the size inside. It was very tight. Since we had an unplanned visit, we didn't check the closing hours and we heard their announcement that the store will be closing in 15 minutes and the cashier will unable to help checking out. Then, 10 pm hit and the lady reminded us that the store is close in a nice way. Then, the black guy told us in a loud voice & said " You must leave the store right now, the store is now close!!!." I never heard such rude words driving out in the store. My husband I had several times with other stores we loved to shop especially near to closing time and they were very pleasant and thankful with their customers and told them to come back again tomorrow. We decided not to come back in this location. That was a terrible experience that we encountered. We were not the only persons during those times. I believe they felt the same way because we saw their face reactions. Shop no more.....!!

The Target at Arlington Heights is not my go-to Target stores, but I have been there twice…read morerecently, and I was happy both times. The first time I was there picking up a detergent that's out of stock at the other Target stores close by my home. I went in to also pick up a few things, and noticed that the layout of the produce department was more spacious, modern, and pleasing looking than the other Target stores. It functions well and I like it. The second time was a simple incident, a special shout out to two friendly employees who went above and beyond for me! I was going to pick up a monthly freebie from the "Target 360" app, which was a Super Mario Mushroom Plush Clip-On valued at $8.99. I received the app for free as a promotion from Target. As I checked that this item was only in stock at Arlington Heights at the time, I went to this Target to pick it up. Since I was not familiar with the layout of this store, I asked the staff named Milo (who's in charge of the self-checkout area) about where to find the item. It was a Sunday and the store was super busy. He still kindly checked for me. But his phone showed that they didn't have stock, and he checked that the closest store with stock was Palatine. I wanted to double check at the department while I was there. Milo checked that if they had the item, it would be at BB8. When he didn't know where that was, he even checked with another cashier for me. When I was in the back area where BB8 was supposed to be at. A staff named Anna was organizing other items in the area. I asked her, she checked that the item was out of stock, but she insisted to go to the back room to check. She came out shortly after with the Super Mario Mushroom Plush Clip-On! With a smile on her face, she asked me if that's the item that I was looking for. Yay, thank you for saving me a trip to another store. Anna said that the items just arrived and they would put them out the next day. Anna is a group leader, she definitely delivers great customer service! On my way out, I purchased another item and told Milo about the situation, just in case he would encounter another customer like me, haha. I thanked him and he was happy that I got the freebie.

I usually frequent the wheeling target but lately things just feel like they are always out of…read morestock. Maybe it's everyone needing the same things I do, or maybe they just aren't getting inventory in. The staff has been on the patientless side and sometimes I get an irritated voice when I ask about whether or not they have anything in stock in the back. But overall you get the target shopping experience. I will say their clearance is always great if you're looking to save a buck or two.

Gosh; I haven't been in a Ross for a bit and decided to come in to see if I could find any cute…read morebaby finds but what I ended up experiencing was actually a reminder of why I hadn't been there in a while. I went straight to the baby section and half the stuff was on the floor and covered in soda. The toys were all missing pieces or shredded or even broken. I went to the home stuff to see if there were any great deals when I hear overhead that someone is waiting to try clothes on in the fitting room but needs assistance. There were a few workers standing in the same aisle as me talking about plans and what they're going to do after work, while this lady was waiting. Usually I don't mind what they are doing but the fact that we heard the overhead message 3 times requesting the help and they didn't move once. After about 10 minutes of looking wrong, I found a small gift for a family friend. So I went to pay, and there was a huge line probably about 10-12 people deep with just this one cashier open. She's the same one who has been asking for help while these other ladies were standing around chatting about places for the night. I don't often comment on the staff because I've been in there shoes, but after the 6th time hearing the fitting room call out and a name drop on the system to go help it was a bit insane. Needless to say; unless I'm looking for something specific, I think I'll keep going to TJmaxx or Marshall's for the fun goodies.

This one generally has more stock choices than the one in Schaumburg, and as always... Ross has a great selection of dresses... but their toiletries and shoes can have treasures in designer or higher end selection, at such bargain prices... Kenneth Cole coat $20.99. BCBG top $2.99. Lauren dresses $12.99... love Ross.

But the past couple months it's become a weird expensive Amazon search. A ton of overwhelming brands I've never heard of, little quality or relevant options, and prices pretending to be lower but only low compared to the hilarious manufacturers recommended gouging. I've been able to repeatedly find the same thing on eBay cheaper as I wonder around TJ. It's a bummer to wait in a long line and get asked for the tenth time this year if I'd like to save ten percent on a credit card.
