In a way if you've visited one Marshall, you've visited them all. This is a very nice location with all your usual finds like men's and women's apparel. In addition you'll find discounted deals on other items like home decor, beauty, toys, suitcases, ect. It always feels like there is some big clearance sale happening. The staff here have always been super kind and helpful and that can really make or break your shopping experience. My last visit I wanted to pick up one item, just a hat and ended up with 3 shirts, some workout pants and hoodie. That's usually what happens. Not a bad place to snag some Polo shirts or polos for golf and warmer weather, that's when they have some in. The RL Polo brands go quick. Prices are somewhere between $30-70 dependent on the item. There's also a decent selection of household items in the back of the store, sometimes a needle in a haystack, but possible to find a gem or two. read more

Like most Marshalls, it's sort of a free for all random assortment of stuff. If you're looking for something specific, chances are you won't find it. However, if you're looking for something vague, like gift or bubble bath, you'll have choices. I came looking for gift basket fillers and a kids gift. The gift basket fillers I found in the clearance section. The whole store was a little lacking organizationally and it took me awhile to find thing, which seems fitting because that's how much people make impulse buys. The toy section was actually quite large. However, a lot of the toys were marked over the typical price that you'd find on a typical store shelf or online. read more

I was browsing this Marshalls last weekend when my boyfriend was at the card/games shop in the same plaza. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but decided to look around in the home goods department. What I did end up finding was some Kitchenaid measuring spoons, for only $1! Wow. I peeled off the clearance sticker to see how much they normally were, and they were only $1.99, but that was a great deal. I already have some metal measuring spoons but these were super cute (bright blue, plastic) and you can always use doubles of kitchen stuff, so I bought them. Checking out didn't take too long even though the line was long, too. I'd come back to this Marshalls when in town, otherwise I usually go to the one by me in Troy or the one in Novi. read more

My mother was treated with racial injustice when trying to return an item that was clearly unworn. My brother was also treated with total disrespect by a young black woman. I believe that Marshall's is not training their employees in regards to equal rights to each and every customer. I will be contacting corporate with names in hand. read more

I go there only once or twice a year, either because they just might have something other stores don't have or because I have nothing better to do (when the weather is too awful, you still want to "get out of the house" for a while). They have a corner reserved to household goods (kitchen aprons, pots and pans, imported cookies and crackers) that is really worth exploring: I did not really need that beautifully-designed little saucepan, but I bought it anyhow, plus a kitchen apron and some cookies and candy. So, by all means, go there to browse and explore; I am sure you will find something you can use, or something you just will want. However, I would agree with the other shopper (W.): browsing at random, it seems, makes you suspect. The store employee who was so eager to help me find what I was "looking for", was it really a saleswoman, or the store "detective"? Actually, I was not looking for anything in particular, just browsing (isn't that what that kind of stores are for?), and I am not black. Next time, I will go to Pier 1: in their store, you get "help" only when you ask for it. I have a confession to make. I have never been to Marshalls in my life. I always imagined junky, unorganized product. I was half wrong. It's not junky. In fact I found 2 very nice pairs of shoes. But it was like i wasted half a day as i rummaged through everything. Maybe it was because it was my first time there, but it was daylight when I went in and pitch black when I came out. The parking lot is very dark with hardly any lights. It's dangerous to walk outside at night. Also, it's difficult to park and see while dark out. Please add more lights. read more

I always have a great experience here and am almost always pleased with the selection offered and store organization. Specifically, I appreciate Bailey/Bailee in the shoe department. A couple of weeks ago I found a style of shoe that I loved. However, my size was not available. Bailey/e was extremely friendly and even called multiple locations to see if they had my size in stock. Marshall's is the Plain Jane to TJ Maxx, the fashionable store, and Homegoods, the exotic store. They are all owned by the same company so if you have struck out at the other two, come to Marshall's. I was able to find the last plate of a service here. read more

I buy all my gym clothing from Marshall's! There's no point in going to Kohls when I can get the same thing at Marshall's for cheaper. I have found that it can be a little unorganized but the point of the store is to put clothes out and give ppl the opportunity to find diamonds in the rough. It's rather exhilarating! read more

One of my favorite department stores in the Canton area! They offer a variety of items like apparel, handbags, home decorations, and a bit of beauty products like styling products and bar soaps. They also have name brand items like Ralph Lauren and CHI. I like how Marshalls is inexpensive and I particularly love shopping for their shoes and clothes. read more

The Canton Marshalls is definitely not my favorite store to visit. Everytime I visit this store is seems to be always messy and just utter chaos! The Ann Arbor and Brighton stores are much more pleasant to visit. read more
