    Fun luggage 06/22/2019

Descent stuff as some is on sale like about 70% off Dept store and others is just ok, about average for some inexpensive things which is all good too. They stepped up theirs furniture game and have some neat wooden accent pieces. They have shoes, purses, wallets, luggage's etc so lost of options here. The clothes can be a hit and miss in the plus size section, but don't men's and women's racks tend to be full. Beware of the woman's restroom.... omg it was so Hideous today that I wouldn't even take a picture and post it because it was that disgusting. They know that people are going to come in and make a mess especially with the homelessness population in the area and all of the transients but damn a 30 minute to an hour check of those bathrooms should be required. It was so unsanitary and unhealthy that words cannot even put into place with one of the stalls look like and then behind the door of the other was disgusting. The rest of the store was pretty clean and organized. It's just if they have a lack of detail to a restroom that obviously the employees have to use too then they don't care about a lot of other things one may see or that is not seen ... that's just my two cents/opinion.

Finishing up my Christmas shopping, this was my last stop for some stocking stuffers. Marshall's had some great stuff! From shoes, to ugly Christmas sweaters and some really comfortable looking pajamas. I got my super cute stocking stuffers and a couple items for myself. I will say that the service here needs some lightening up. The employees at this Marshall's location are practically falling asleep? Weird. Some areas could use some cleaning up and organization. Shoes are scattered everywhere.

Love this location. Great deals found today. Nice location in El Cajon. Plenty of parking. Big clean location. Found some good deals here. The employees were cool and offered help. I like this location and more likely return.

I came to Marshall's looking for a cell phone charger. I walked in and managed to find a long black wire that costs $15.99. It's a Duracell brand which seems to last a long time. I'm hoping this wire will last awhile. I kept browsing the store to see what other stuff they had. My daughter found a Hello Kitty flashlight and a small Barbie mini Lego set. Both cost around $4.99. Not bad. I ended up getting her the Hello Kitty flashlight. When I went in line, I didn't have to wait long. The cashier rang me up quickly. She asked if I found everything I needed and said yes. They don't have the chip reader if you're paying by credit card. You still have to swipe your card the regular way. Quick and easy. There's plenty of parking in front of their store. Getting in and out is easy. Pretty fun shopping experience.

We ended up browsing around the kitchen and bathroom areas and were surprised at the amount of inventory they had.

I only have two malls i consistently go in San Diego, the Fashion Valley Mall and the UTC Mall…read more However, UTC mall is more of a leisure... to walk around and kill time, for my son to play at the playground, for the festivities on the holiday season especially Xmas, to have family fun dates and good food experiences at nearby restaurants and the mall I always go to every time I have issues with my Apple iPhone and techs. The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

Hello May!! Came to…read moreFashion Valley on what must've been an off Sunday because...where was everybody? I hadn't been here in years, fully prepared to fight for parking, but jokes on me. Endless spots to park! That's a first! Are malls dead now? How are stores surviving? Anywhoo, I still spent more than planned. Damn you, Sephora! Pros: *Surprisingly easy parking (a rare mall miracle) *Huge mix of stores from bougie to budget - Louis Vuitton, Coach, Hollister, Macy's, Nordstrom's, Neiman Marcus, H&M, Zara, and Gucci to name a few *Open-air vibe with palm trees; very San Diego aesthetic with a tropical feel; complete with fountains and artistic landscaping *Solid food options with a food court, cafes, and kiosks, Cheesecake Factory, Seasons 52, and my fav, True Food Kitchen *Clean and well-maintained and easy to wander around *There's a lot of variety here to keep you entertained *They have seasonal events that is a nice addition to shopping Cons: *Felt oddly empty for a Sunday..kinda eerie but it may be an introvert paradise *Dangerous for your wallet (you will overspend) *Some stores seem like they're hanging on by a thread *Malls just don't hit like they used to despite the pros- mainly because everything has gone up! Shopping isn't as enjoyable when things cost an arm and a leg. Overall: 3.5 Stars - Still one of the nicer malls around if you're in the mood to stroll, shop, and accidentally blow your budget (Guilty!). Would I come back? Only if my bank account approves!

There are several stores there such as Bath Body Works, Victoria Secret, Forever 21, Dicks etc. I love when Macys and 24 hour WalMart was there, it was pretty decent. They have a food court, only a handful of food options to choose from. Customer service from most of the stores is pretty good. Prices varies depending on what you're buying. Several stores have sales. Plenty of parking around the structure. They are adding new stores and trying to bring life to this mall. Happy shopping!

The whole mall feels lively in a way that surprised me, because every corner had something different going on that teenagers would enjoy a lot. When I walked through the main areas, I noticed so many teenagers hanging out together, laughing, taking pictures, and just enjoying the freedom of being in a place that feels safe and full of energy. The atmosphere there reminded me of the kind of spot where teenagers can be themselves without feeling rushed or judged. One thing that stood out to me was how many stores had bright displays and colorful setups that made the whole place feel more exciting. Even the seating areas around the mall had this relaxed vibe that made it easy to stop and take a break without feeling like you were in the way. I saw teenagers sitting together in groups, sharing snacks, showing each other things they bought, and taking fun photos around the mall decorations. Everything about the environment felt welcoming and easygoing, which makes it perfect for teenagers who love spending time somewhere that feels both fun and comfortable. It is a familiar mall to me, but I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy there until I walked around inside with a more playful mindset. I really appreciated how easy it was to have fun there without feeling overwhelmed. The whole experience felt smooth and comfortable, and I never doubted that the visit was going to turn out the way I hoped it would. I only visited Parkway Plaza one time in my life before I made this review, but that one visit was enough to show me how enjoyable and welcoming it is. It was one of the most lively and teen‑friendly places I've been to in a long time, and I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to hang out, walk around, shop, take pictures, and feel creative.
