I moved here from Nj and spent a lot of time and money in Marshalls, Tj Maxx and Home Goods. They were separate stores but returns to could be made in any of the three no matter where the purchase was made. The lines to pay and return from Huntersville are ridiculously long and they won't take returns from Tjs . My favorite stores are now reduced to my worst ! read more

Worst experience ever. the line was about a mile long with only 3 registers open. I traveled from South Carolina all the way to North Carolina where I am staying and I witnessed the same thing at all stores. It must be the culture of the company or they are trying to see how much business they can lose in the month of February. Huntersville has a gem in this Marshalls. If you seek quality workout gear - you can most certainly find it here. Under Armour, Nike, Adidas, etc. Plus, there's typically a nice offering of yoga mats, workout accessories, resistance bands and DVDs. The other sections are extraordinarily well organized and nicely stocked. The women's section features some solid brands as does the shoe area (which is big to boot). Conversely, the men's section leaves a lot to be desired. But hey, it's cool. Another bright spot is that HomeGoods is next door & attached! You'll find great prices on just about anything you need or want for your home. And hot damn, it's a giant store. Thanks Marshalls! read more

First let me say that this review hurts my soul to write it. I shop at other Marshalls stores and love the selection, and the service has always been just right. Today, however, was an exception. I was in Huntersville, NC shopping and after standing in line to purchase (the line literally snaked into the retail area) and took about 20 minutes to reach the front. When cashier #7 had an opening, I walked over and said "hello" with a big smile only to find a "zombie" at the register - no smile - no hello - and she barely moved. Ok, I suppose most of us have "off days." I was finally able to get her to smile by giving her a compliment, and in return she rang up one of my items TWICE. I didn't notice it until I got home later that evening and darnit, I drove back before the store closed at 10pm. I walked in and told the first woman I saw behind the counter (with a key on her arm) that I was charged twice, and she told me to go back in the line and let the cashier know what happened when I made it to the front again. What??? I just had to drive back to a store that over charged me, and we are standing right next to the check-out area, and you want me to head over to the dreaded line again? Oh, heck no. I asked for the store manager, and she informed that she was the supervisor on duty tonight and that a cashier can help me when they are free with their other customers (then she promptly turned her back on me as if she was offended that I had the audacity to not want to wait in line after I was overcharged, drove home, drove back and then just wanted to be treated in a courteous manner). No apology was given, just major attitude. Marshalls, it might be time for some "supervisor customer training" in your Huntersville store. read more

Absolutely horrible. There were 2 cashiers working on a Sunday and over 50 people in line. I will never shop this store again!

I love this company and have been shopping with them for over 25 years, BUT even though this location is only 5 minutes from my house I will drive over 15 minutes to the Mooresville Home Goods and TJMaxx just to stand in shorter lines! This one is horrendous!! I moved here 2 years ago pre COVID and the lines are always super long. I count the amount of registers open every time and it's always only 4-6 open. That's kind of ridiculous when it's 2 large stores in one and they have 14 registers that are possible. I think it must be the management, and find it hard to believe it would be the company. read more

This used to be my favorite place to shop. However the experience has been miserable over the last year. The checkout line is ridiculously long, last visit I waited for over an hour. There were only 3 registers running. The staff is not friendly and seem annoyed anytime you're trying to get through an aisle. Shoe department selection has declined over the past two years. As well as the athletic wear. Dress clothes are non existent. It's unfortunate as it used to be the best place to shop not that long ago. read more

One of the cleanest and most organized Marshalls/Home Goods stores I've ever encountered. Their clearance section isn't as good as some other comparable stores, but there are some little gems you can find from time to time. Their lines are unpredictable -- sometimes awesomely short and fast, sometimes so long you spend 10 minutes waiting in line without moving at all. Today was one of those slow days so I'm a little cranky about it, but I'll be back soon and allow myself more checkout time when I do. Parking is in a private lot off Sam Furr that fills up quickly on weekends and around lunch. Do yourself (and the environment) a favor and carpool! read more

Where to even begin? I live about 5 minutes from this location and find myself wandering through here roughly once a week. As others have said, it is hands down one of the most organized Marshall's that I've ever been to. And I've been going to Marshall's for many, many years. First, it's attached to a Home Goods, which helps when trying to "kill two birds with one stone." Even if you're just looking for pants, a quick stroll through the large kitchen section will usually have me leaving with a new way to organize my pantry. Their workout section for women is significantly larger than other Marshall's I've been to. They have multiple rows of shirts, pants, shorts, sports bras, etc. There are plenty of attire for tennis and golf, which makes sense given that the location is nestled down from Birkdale and a rather wealthy area of town. No stereotyping though! ;) The only complaints on this location are as follows: 1. Please do something about the lines! I know, from experience, that they move quickly. But for someone that is less frequent of a shopper here, the length is daunting. Maybe a remodel with two cash wraps should be considered in the near future. 2. Women's. Athletic. Shoes! For such a large workout section, the shoe selection is a joke. All walking, no trainers, and maybe one pair of running shoes? Y'all would make a killing if you expanded that section. All in all, one of my favorite Marshall's. read more

The thing about Marshall's is that you never really know what you're going to find until you start looking around. Every store is different as you might find something at one store that the other may not even have. I'm always looking for deals on kids clothing and shoes and Marshall's is almost always guaranteed to have a few deals for my son. I get so focused on finding deals for him that I forget to check for myself but I guess that can be my excuse to come back:-) This store has a shoe department but some of the other stores don't, but I've been lucky enough to find a few deals on kids clearance shoes which is rare as the boy shoes usually disappear first. So, if you like to shop ahead for deals on kids clothing/shoes as I do, you may want to check this store out before the back to school frenzy begins. read more

I like this store for many reasons, most of all being the attached Home Goods store. I looooove Home Goods. Beautiful, higher end home decor at major discounts. Everything from kitchenwares, art, tchotchkes and linens to adorable kid's decor. The sale prices are insane. The Marshall's side doesn't have the best clothing selection but they do have good shoes and the shoes are much better organized than TJ Maxx. The return policy kinda stinks, only 30days for a refund BUT if you have your receipt and go past the 30 days, they will give you store credit. Another plus, the staff is friendly and helpful and I don't have to search for someone when I need assistance. read more

This location is by far the best I've seen here in the Charlotte area! And the Homegoods attached is amazing! Love, love, love this location. The store is very clean, set up with a sense of organization instead of if normal chaos. Large selections of everything and great name brands at this store! I went to marshals to return an item that I bought at TJ Maxx. I went online to see if Marshall's would take back a purchase from TJ Maxx. The same company owns them both plus HomeGoods. I got there at 9 o'clock walked up to the checkout desk and had to wait for the ladies to put their cash registers together. I guess they got there at 9 o'clock also. As I was waiting they kept watching me I guess hoping I would go away but I didn't ...when I got to the register to return my item The older lady told me that I could not return it. Not in a very nice way. I told her that II went online and to see if it could be returned to Marshall's and it said they would Takeback purchases from TJ Maxx.But this lady said no. With that being said I understand your policy but you could be a little bit nicer and smile. read more

Every time I come in the music is BLARING....Even your speakers can't take it and get all distorted with the sound. Very nice store, visually speaking. It's clean and well laid-out. The Home Goods side has so many goodies for the home and your pets, all at terrific prices. The clothing side is great for men but, alas, if you're a larger gal like myself the selection is pretty limited. If you wear a women's shoe larger than a 10 you're also out of luck. Good handbag and beauty section. They are really good at moving the checkout line with the system they use, so don't be irritated if you see a really long line. Their return policy is terrible. I bought a pair of shoes there 10 days ago. After wearing them twice, the elastic shriveled at the buckle. I did not keep the receipt because I didn't expect to return them. All I wanted was an even exchange for another pair or a credit to cover the cost of repair. The sales manager did not even make eye contact with me and basically talked over her shoulder saying, "Marshall's doesn't buy damaged goods, it is all new." I was so berated all I could do was take the shoes and walk away. On top of a lousy return policy most stores (such as DSW and Steinmart) will process it on the credit card used to purchase. The treatment I received was rude and embarrassing. I've always liked shopping at Marshall's but will more than likely spend my money somewhere else in the future. By the way, the shoes cost $30 and I had to spend $15 to get them fixed. Where's the "customer' in customer service? read more

I would give this Marshalls. 5 stars but the line is always, always, always, ridiculously long. I'm not sure why. This includes weekends and weekdays. It could be 11am on a weekday or 2pm, the line is long. Sometimes I don't even feel like shopping or looking around when I see the line is very long. That's probably the worst thing about this location. Other than that, it's completely fine. I like the HomeGoods is also a part of this Marshalls. It makes it easy to search for goods for the home. They also have a lot of gluten free snacks, and those increase every time I'm shopping, which I really appreciate. read more

This review is more so for the Home Goods store than Marshalls... Marshalls is good but Home Goods is GREAT. I always find what I'm looking for whether I can afford it or fit in in my vehicle!!! My one piece of advice is if you find what you're looking for, it's a one of a kind in the store and you can afford it...buy it! It will be gone when you go back. read more

This is the best Homegoods in the country. They do so much business and are constantly getting shipments in. I've not written a review until today because Sam and Monique turned one of my only bad experiences there into a great one! Anyone who would want to shop here needs to get their head examined. This place is always busy, and the lines are always long, long, long. When I mean long, I mean two lanes all the way out the door. It doesn't matter what day, or what time of day, your wait time to check out is stupidly long, and it's ridiculous. It seems every woman in the town of Huntersville has to shop here for some reason. Not sure why. There is nothing special about their merchandise. The quality of their stuff actually declined a few years ago after they remodeled. The designer clothing label brands are minimal. You can't even get decent jeans here. All "skinny" jeans....nothing for older guys. Their hair care section used to be great, but that too was cut down, and their shoe selection for men is poor, with just a tiny selection of athletic shoes that are never in the size you need. Most of their home furnishings can be found online cheaper. The layout of this store is ABYSMAL. This has to be one of the worst laid out stores I've ever seen, with tiny aisles and merchandise packed out so tightly, you're elbow to elbow with people. Their security team must have a nightmare dealing with shoplifters. The parking lot is always full, unless it's near closing time, so don't expect to find a close spot. It's a wonder they don't have more accidents here. It's awful. Avoid this place like the plague. read more
