I went to all 3 this week and this one BY FAR has the best selection & the best prices. Campbell is DEF the worst! Ugh, how is that one even still open? I got a whole bunch of stuff today for $20. Like good, quality stuff. I really like the beauty section they have, as well as their home decor and stationery items. I haven't shopped there for clothes yet, but I plan on checking it out on the next trip. Marshalls is only second to TJ MAx. This one in particular. Not much to find here but it's close to where I live so... My favorite section of this store is the house ware. They also carry lots of kitchen stuff and also tons of aromatic bottles. I bought two and was very happy with how intense the smell was. They also have a very good selection of occasional things like x'mas decors . They also have a great selection of t-shirts for man and women and tons of shoes for women. I think that's where they stand out.I think no luck for men in this department ;( Checking out is almost always pretty easy. Line moves fast. I used to love this Marshall's but their new workers completely wasted 30 mins of my time. I found a sweater in the final clearance section. It was brand name. The tag was on with the sensor, so there was no removing it or anything. Very clear that was the tag. He rung it up and said this is wrong even tho what came up was black sweater. And guess what, the item was a black sweater. He called up two girls working there and I could tell one of them wanted the item for themselves bc it was a good deal but honestly it was a bit damaged. They spend 30 mins and let the line run so long just to finally tell me that was the wrong price and it was $75. R u kidding me?! I was so annoyed. This is one of the best Marshall's in the Bay Area and seems to be thriving. There is a good selection of top name brands at reasonable prices in various sizes, colors, and, styles. The cashier lines tend to move fairly quickly and the staff seems well-trained. I had a good experience there. This Marshall's is near a Target, CostPlus World Market, and other comparably priced stores--which is great! If you can't find what you're seeking you can probably find it somewhere else. read more

I am a frequent flyer of Marshalls since I was a teen and this one is close to my house and is very organized in comparison to some of the other ones located in my home town of San Mateo and where I work in Hayward. The selection changes about once or twice a week but my girlfriend and I always stop in here when going to Target after hitting the gym. It is fantastic. Oh my. I'm really writing a review about this store! I used to be one of those silly types that "wore my money". Only the finest brands and yearly trips to NYC for a wardrobe refresh for Le Lis Chat! That was then. Now, I spend my time browsing MLS listings and Home depot aisles. I learned a valuable lesson. You either hunker down and save or waste precious dollars and junk. There is no such thing as bargain couture. I did see great brands like Theory, Laundry, Cole Haan and even Vincent. I like this place mainly for two reasons. the salon hair products and the bra size selection. normally it's a bitch to find plus-sized bras at discount stores. or even non-discount places. i'm not talking about giant cup sizes. often, if you are 38 or above in your ribcage, the only bras available are in the D+ range. if you are a B or C, they have a bunch of options here. mostly they are about $5-12. They have tons of salon brand hair products for cheap. Mostly Rusk, BigSExyHair. lots of others too. catwalk, paul mitchell, etc. if you are cheap like me, it's a decent place to get spa gift box sets, or stuff to put in gift baskets, like fancy soap and teas and whatnot. read more

Here... at... Marshalls... Girlfriend brought me here and as usual I just followed her around because I've never really shopped at Marshall's before and to me it just seemed weird. I always pictured Marshalls to be a location for women only... That is until I actually ventured over to the Men section. Damn, this is seriously the best place to get underwear, socks and ties! Sports appeal as well! Occasionally I'd like to buy the expensive Under Armor brand, but I'd typically buy cheaper brands that do just as well. And damn their boxer briefs are at a damn good price. This Marshalls location seems to be the only one in the South Bay that I've been to that's the most organized and has a wide selection of women's shoes AND home decor. I also like the fact that there's plenty of aisle space in each section of the store so you don't have to worry about some craycray shopper playing bumper shopping carts close to you. read more

Decent inventory but pain in the ass lines : Please stop asking so many questions. if you stopped asking questions at check out we could all get on with our lives. I hate going to this store why? Because 99% of the time when I try to get out of there I am bombarded with a million questions, how was your experience, did you find everything ok, do you want to use your Marshalls credit card, would you like to open a Marshall's account? So here begins the update to my horrendous customer service experience at this particular Marshalls After speaking to the district manager or whoever it was from the district office, Christine is her name...she told me to go back there and that there was only one manager there and that the "manager" Blanca would gladly do the price adjustment for me. After about a week and a half later I was able to make it in there and Blanca isn't there but the Store manager Martha is. She tells me...after waiting for her that she knows nothing about the situation and that since Christine had spoke to Blanca that I should come back when Blanca's in. okay...that poses a few problems... 1) I am already not happy w this place. 2) You know nothing about this situation? so that tells me Blanca didn't share w you what happen nor did Christine. 3) you're the flippin store manager and If I had brought up all the trouble I went through already and that I had spoken to someone ABOVE you wouldn't you have just done the damn price adjustment? I returned the damn towels and went over to Target and bought other towels, which cost a bit more but it was worth paying since Target makes me happy and Marshalls does not. what a bunch of bull. read more

I'm a Marshall's shopper and this location is by far my favorite. They have a large shoe collection, home goods selection, and a nice isle of clearance items. I always find great deals! Customer service here is fantastic. Lines run pretty quickly and you have a manager greeting you while you wait, asking if he can help take hangers off your clothes, or if he can help you with anything while you wait. In addition,any fragile items (glass, or photo frames), the cashiers take their time wrapping them up for you in tissue. I give this location 5 stars because of the great customer service, large selection of items (also organized, and clean), and quick, quality service. Love love love this marshals! Definitely one of my favorite marshals I've been to, and I've been to too many lol. After going to target next door, we stopped by here since my 3 yo wanted to go to marshals specifically. Great selection of everything, my favorite part is all the items they have for home and kitchen. Toys are at a great price, even the Disney toys. Would definitely love to come back. Feeling a bit bored during the weekend, I decided to third-wheel along with my sister and her boyfriend while they went out shopping. Excusing the fact that my sister is a terrible person to shop with, I quite liked this Marshalls. It's spacious, clean, well-organized even on a weekend, and has plenty of staff on hand. I ended up buying probably my favorite blanket ever here, a queen sized sherpa Berkshire blanket for $40 that would have been significantly more without the Marshalls' markdown. All in all, this Marshalls compares nicely with the other one I tend to frequent at the Great Mall. read more

The sales associates here are very friendly. However, this has go to be my least favorite Marshall's. The Steven's Creek location just sucks because of their horrible customer service, but their selection is a lot better than this one. All their departments (children's, men, young men's, misses, and juniors) were TINY compared to all the other Marshall's. What was even worse was their selection, not even mid-range brands. Their clearance sections were pathetic! I thought I walked into a cleaner, somewhat upscale Ross. I did find a few pairs of Diesel jeans on clearance for $29 (they weren't cute enough to buy), Threads for Thought boy shorts for $3, and U.S. Polo Assn. toddler shirt dress for $3. So, clearance prices were pretty cheap all around, but most the stuff just weren't good enough to buy. I will have to stick to Great Mall, San Francisco, and Campbell. read more

This is such a strange Marshall's. I shopped at the store in Mountain View for years before moving to San Jose, and this store seems to consistently have much lower quality clothing and shoes than the other does/did. For a store that promotes having "brand names for less", they rarely have much inventory by big brand names, and what they do have is very limited as far as sizes/styles. There's a lot of inventory by formerly big brand names - Tommy Hilfiger, for example.. For some reason, they've recently added this giant display right at the front of the store which you have to physically walk around to reach the clothing. Shoes always seem to be completely disorganized, especially in the clearance area, so you spend more time looking for your size on clearance than you actually spend looking at clearance shoes. Service/staffing are always nice, though. They let you take in all your clothes to try on at once, which is great! read more

Dude, I love this place! You can find some great finds and everything is exactly where I know it is...shoes, juniors, adults, fitness clothes.... Somebody is managing it right because everything always seems to be in organized condition. No clothes on the floor etc I'm always greeted so that's a plus! The register lines are never too long because they always got like 5+ cashiers... One thing I don't really like is having to try on the clothes. I love the big rooms with the mirrors but the lady(s) who work there are WEIRD They're not mean, but they're WIERD, like they follow by the rule book ALL the time (some of you may know what I'm talking about) and are watching you like HAWKS thinking you're going to steal or something. They need to take a chill pill, but I guess the positive thing is they take their jobs very seriously? I'm here like once a week just to browse but can always manage to find something to purchase! Found exactly what I was looking for at this location as World Market was closed next door. Doggie toys and a plush mat for Rocco. They have a lot of great items for pets here surprisngly. I almost picked up a pair of Skull Candy headphones here that were 2/3 of the price of the ones at Target next door. Very clean and organized for a bargain store. read more

It's mostly clean, the dressing rooms are clean and well lit, but I didn't find a lot of merchandise that I wanted. The dress selection is woefully limited. Been to this Marshall's location twice now, and I'm very pleased to say that I'll be a regular at this location. The first time, I came here to browse around while killing time before my waxing appointment at another location in the center. Employees seemed friendly and I immediately noticed how clean and organized the store was kept. The second time was today when my boyfriend and I decided to come after we ate dinner. Stayed in here for about an hour and was able to come out with two yoga pants a shirt and a shirt for my boyfriend. Stock and selection for the juniors and ladies clothes was great on both occasions, my boyfriend also seemed pretty happy with the guys clothes as well. I would definitely recommend this location to my fellow yelpers shopping on a budget :) read more

No Joke, I seriously go to this Marshalls at least once a week. Why? Do I need that much stuff? Uh no, I just love to browse and shop! haha I'm a full time student and I love to shop. Especially when I'm stress and let's just say school stresses me enough to shop quite often! I, like most people also love a good bargain, especially being on a student budget. This Marshalls off of Coleman is great for that! Right after class, I often stop by just to browse and see if I can find something cool for a great deal. It's kinda like a treasure hunt in my opinion. When I find something great, it's like I won the lotto! haha I sometime leave empty handed but majority of the time I will find something. I've found a lot of great finds here and I love it. This Marshalls is nice and bright, clean, and the staff is very helpful, and friendly. Maybe too friendly? I mean to the point where every time you encounter a staff they say "hello!" or "Hi". At first, I thought "wow, the people are really nice here" moving from Phoenix where the Marshalls there are pretty ghetto and wouldn't give you service if their life depended on it. But after being there for 15 minutes and replying to their "hello's" about 15+ times, it kinda gets annoying. I understand that they're doing their job so I don't hold it against them lol but I mean come on! You just saw me 5 minutes ago when I walked by, you don't have to greet me again silly! Overall though, it's a great store. Out of the hundreds of times I've been there (I was there today!), I've probably only had one bad incident with a check out clerk, which I took it up with the manager. Scored a great buy for my dog! A chilly mat...no not like chili dog oh wait maybe....hahaha For 12.99 you cannot beat the price, I've seeing them online for like 24.00 plus. These mats stay cool in the summer and doggies love to stay cool. Plus you can keep a bucket of water and just put the mat in and out of it so the mat stays cooler. Other things are unbreakable drinking glasses, with 3D shells in blue, very coastal =) Needles to say I've been a loyal customer like for 30 years or more. Many of my purchases have been in the 5:00 or less. Clothing prices are $12.99 and up. Although the stores keep only XS S M and Small Large, good luck finding a good fit. The clearance sales are not great. I've seeing torn clothing or stained. The perfume area and shampoos or conditioners are pretty good. But you do need to come with a plan or else you will spend money needlessly as you will think you "need this and that". Same for the lingerie department, not too much to choose from. The guys department is ok. It helps to kinda know what you want though. Shoe department is good, hit or miss sometimes. But when you score some nice high wedge sandals for 12.99. (I purchased some Guess sandals years ago and finally they tore) I found some similar and had to get them, now I baby those sandals to the max. =) read more

The receipt was returned from my original purchase but at the store they won't honor or care or do anything to help. The manager Sandra, and employee Daniel told me is my problem. Thats messed up. Four words: Holy active wear Batman! I LOVE this location more than any other Marshall's ever. I came in for the active wear department and that's the area that keeps me coming back nearly every week. Huge selection rather than the usual "hit or miss" that is every other location I've tried. Lots of different brands (insert I LOVE YOU MPG here) and a good variety of sizes and colors too. So many cute styles and I'm always getting compliments on the treasures I pick up from this store. Very affordable as well. I mean, how could you go wrong? When I do manage to wander away from the workout clothes section, I've found other great home goods here as well. Soft fluffy towels, snuggly blankets, awesomely cheap iphone cases (Speck for under $15!!) I love it! The fitting rooms are sparkly clean and check out is a breeze too, most times. The only downside is the relentless "open a TJX card with us" speech at the end which is pretty commonplace but after you politely decline once, well, once should be enough. Oh look, it's Wednesday. Love this Marshalls...always has new stuff and a relatively open and cleaned up layout of racks. I got tights here the other day for under $10 (and these are the really good ones that last!). The bad part was I did the conservative thing - bought 2 pairs with the thought that I'd go back and buy more if I liked them. However, this week they are completely gone!
