The staff were very helpful on the phone so I drove over to check it out. We're heading to Walt Disney World so I wanted to have some great quality shoes to get me through long days. Nancy was really helpful on the phone and so was the guy who originally picked up the phone, and I know Nordstrom usually carries my size even in sneakers so it was worth stopping in. We were off to a bit of a rocky start when I got in. There were a lot of customers and several staff, but nobody said hello or please go here for help or anything. I was annoyed when I noticed a couple staff standing around at the register not doing anything even though they were literally more than a dozen customers in the shoe department, and as I was considering whether to leave or go ask for help an employee asked if I was being helped and said she'd get someone for me. Elise (perhaps Alise?) was incredibly helpful. She picked out a bunch of shoes to try on; I think she brought me about 10 different pair. I'd never tried Hoka before (I've especially been a fan of New Balance and Asics) but these were amazing shoes. They were so cushioned, it felt like I was bouncing on a cloud and could barely feel the steps I was taking. Sold! I really appreciated the help provided and that Elise suggested a couple other options when I mentioned I liked a pair of the Hokas but they felt just a bit snug, and then we found the right pair. I didn't realize they had a cafe here, but there's one just as you enter the doors from the east side of the building. They have a good selection of baby stuff as well, including strollers, which are harder to see in person now that so many people shop online. Nordstrom is my favorite higher end (to me, at least) store and I was glad to have stopped here for my most recent purchase.

The associate simply told us that they don't provide samples, without any explanation or effort to help. What made the experience worse was the attitude -- it felt rude and dismissive, and there was no apology or customer-focused service. I've visited other Nordstrom locations before and have always had great experiences with polite, professional, and attentive staff. That's why this visit was especially disappointing. Customer service is one of the reasons people choose to shop at Nordstrom, and unfortunately, this location did not meet those expectations. I hope management pays attention to the customer experience and provides additional training to ensure guests feel welcomed and respected.

Customers who go in to shop park in those pick up spots, anyways and there's no reinforcement. There are tons of security parked in the shade that look down on their phone though. So the time I spend trying to find a spot for pickup could have been half my time looking for those items at the store. Also, every time that I come here there's some altercation in the parking lot, either people fighting for spots, cars honking, or people not stopping at the curb to leave that they almost hit each other. It's been over a decade since I've been to this mall so I was very excited to return. Thankfully, the parking garage was right next to the mall, so it was a short walk to the entrance. The outdoor mall was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. We browsed in and out of a few different stores and everyone was very nice and attentive. The one store that caught our attention was Laderach, which was a Swiss chocolate store. We were able to sample truffles and chocolate bars and it was probably the best tasting chocolate we've ever had. We also stopped in to Coach and I ended up buying my daughter a cute, Coach bag. With stores like Zara, Fabletics, Alo, Louis Vuitton and Nordstrom, you truly get a great, shopping experience at this mall; there's something here for everyone. There's also ample seating as well. It's not as well stocked as some other Targets, but it's a really convenient spot for everyday things. That said, some of the staff can have real attitude. Recently I had a few in-store non-stackable coupons, so I split my items into separate purchases. I used one coupon, paid, and then started scanning my next items for a new transaction. The woman at self checkout who needed to scan the coupon told me, "you can't split up your transaction," and refused to scan the second coupon. I asked her why not since I had already paid and was starting a new purchase, and she just huffed and walked away without helping. I still shop here because overall it's a great store, but interactions like that are frustrating and unnecessary.

I am giving them five stars. Not for what they are now--a barely open/soon to be demolished…read moremid-sized mall, but for what I remember them to be back when they were new and fun--the very early 90s. The architecture was, and still is, different in a good way, with more skylights than other indoor malls. I don't think I ever bought anything from here except coffee from a place on the second floor. Maybe something from JCPenny. I know so many people who spent part of their childhood or high school years here.
