The kiddos wanted to putz around somewhere and spend some GP-unit money and so we dropped in here. It was my first visit to this particular franchise, and this particular store is located in the Four Flaggs strip mall. I never really looked into it before but I thought Five Below was maybe a lower end clothing store lol. Anyway, it's basically an a-ok dollar store with items priced nominally up to $5. It's a fine store for such and they have a wide variety of items. They may not have the quality of a Hello Tokyo or a Daiso but you get more for your discount dollars here it appears. The kiddos had plenty of fun items to pick from to stay under their $5 budget and they enjoyed their shopping here. My only critique is that many items showed a scan code but no specific price except a sign saying less than $5. I had to ask the friendly and helpful attendant several times what an item's price was and most items we picked were $3.50 or $4 but it would be helpful to show an exact price if possible. I would recommend any discount shoppers check out this a-ok franchise to see if there's a consumer fit for themselves. read more

Went to Five Below to check out their tshirts, they have a pretty good collection here but smalls and mediums in preferred styles were out of stock. They actually have a decent selection of sanrio items. Lots to look at. Checkout was fast, parking is easy. read more

Five Below is always a fun place to explore, there is no telling what you may find on their shelves. Sometimes you can find a real bargain. On a recent trip I grabbed a cat tunnel for $4 that made our cats extremely happy while I found a rubber duck dressed up like Spock for my collection. read more

Five Below is located on Milwaukee Ave in th west side across the street from Golf Mill. My experience has been to buy some inexpensive earbuds for my phone so I can plug in and listen to music while I'm walking and working out. The nice thing is everything (I think) is $5 or below About a week ago I bought a pair of headphones. The right side got tangled up and the earbud came loose and I lost the price so I went in to get another pair not really knowing what to expect. When I brought up the replacement pair of earbuds the guy working the counter rang it up and gave it to me for free. I wasn't really expecting the replacement to be free, but I do appreciate the fact that they were willing to give me a different earbud and not charge me. Now I know $5 isn't much, but I do appreciate the fact that stepped up and gave me a free replacement. I will continue to shop there when the need arises read more

Sylkia is a very rude worker, she just sits on her phone and gave me an attitude to where an item is.. she refused to help me with my needs and most of the employees look like they don't want to work there. she favors a certain group of people at the store and it just doesn't feel so pleasant to be at this location. i would give this place 0 stars if I could. read more

One of the newer additions to the Four Flaggs Shopping Center, this place sells things for $5 or less. I have been to one at a different location and wasn't impressed, but I needed a break from studying so I stopped by this place. I ended up getting a bunch of stuff I didn't realize I needed, but that always happens to me at the dollar store too. I can't help but be drawn to a bargain (even if it is cheap). As things range in value up to $5, some of the stuff is not really a deal. It may be a challenge to find things that are worth what you are paying for at this store, but hey I like a challenge. First part of the challenge is navigating this place. It's huge! They have a wide variety of random things. Children's books, toys, cat toys, funny t shirts (one literally made me LOL), office supplies, coloring stuff, candy, scarves, key chains, ornaments, fruit cutters, kettle corn makers, I could keep going, but if there is a character limit on these reviews I would probably reach it. Second challenge, finding something that's worth what you're paying. Some of the stuff is not worth it for sure. $1.00 for 15 wet wipes? I've spent the same amount to buy 40. Some of the prices were pretty comparable to what you'd pay at other places like Target. Staff was pretty friendly, one of the staff was up on a ladder and noticed me looking around for the price for some books and she was pretty nice and let me know without me even asking. I had some trouble waiting for a little bit for staff to get back to the checkout, but everyone there was also super friendly. Overall this place is not bad, it's got more variety than a dollar store, but it's a little more difficult to shop. So much easier to compare value when everything's the same price. But I can't complain since everything is under a $5! read more

Five Below stores are so random. They have a variety of things from T-Shirts to makeup to school supplies. Most of the stuff seems to be $5 or less (well, I guess that's a tribute to its name). Some of the stuff looks to be so-so quality while others looked pretty good for the price. I saw a lot of cheap $5 headphones so I wasn't sure how good the quality could be. read more

Worst 5 below ever. My daughter is going through a surgery and all she wanted was a squish marshmallow toy and the limit said 2 per person the employees let two women buy 12 each and another 6 each this is a outrage not only on the employees letting this happen but on the people buying them all and leaving none for kids. Also no I wasn't able to get any now have to get one 5 times the price on some resale website. read more

Great place to shop for odds and ends. It would be silly to assume quality for some of the items but they do the job. I would stay away from the beauty section as some of the makeup is overpriced compared to the drug store. Toys are a steal there as are car chargers or other miscellaneous tech stuff you might need. I was happy to find a headphone splitter there as well as a universal phone charger. I would say know before you go. Not everything is a deal, don't be fooled. read more

I always thought this was a ski wear store - a friend said "nope - go take a look!" I went in and I was blown away. The place has boat shoes which I need for gardening season coming up, fluffy rugs perfect for my dogs, and a cover for my Iphone that makes it bounce instead of break when I drop it (come on admit it - you all drop it). So much more value and variety than a dollar store which do have their place. But Five Below is like a very affordable Target. I loaded up my basket, unloaded in my car and went back in for more. This location replace what was formerly the Secretary of State's office. I was looking for some items to "propose" to my potential bridesmaids so I thought it would be a good place to go. Five Below carries miscellaneous items for $5 and under. You can find anything from cleaning supplies to toys to IPhone chargers. What you get may or not be a deal. The item that I was looking for was not. It was actually cheaper at the Party City across the way. It did have a good selection of holiday presents for kids. I might come back to pick up a few check toys for my fiance's nephews. Service was good for this type of location. Staff members asked if I found everything alright and were there if I had any questions. I am not sure if this will be a regular stop for me, but it is on my radar. read more

Not sure what happened to the happy bubbly outgoing guys who used to work here. Came today the girls working didnt say nothing not even a smile looked extremely miserable im standing right there waiting to get rung up and the 2 girls working didnt even acknowledge me and just kept on talking about how the one girl only has 1 day off left cause she used all her other ones calling in that made her look even more mad and she was even colder and unfriendly and didnt say nothing not a thank you nothing nada zip extremely poor horrible customer service here TERRIBLE read more

The products here are fun and affordable. A great place to stop and pick up exciting surprises for the kids without breaking the bank. But today I was browsing the store looking for a special gift when you could hear the manager yelling at an employee on the telephone from the back office. It could be heard throughout the whole store. About how she texted them about Tuesday and on and on. A bunch of stuff that was none of my not anyone else's business. She needed to close the door and speak in a normal volume to avoid disturbing the whole store. She could even be heard when I was on the complete other side of the store. Tacky as heck! And a poor way to run a business. Don't want to spend my money in places where management terrorizes their employees and not only does that but practically broadcasts it through the entire place. In management roles sometimes you need to deal with employee issues, yes. I am keenly aware of this. But respect your employees. Respect your customers. It's all about respect. This place is like todays version of the old five and dimes but with alot cooler merchandise!! EVERYTHING in the store is no more than 5 bucks and can go all the way down to 10 cents for incense sticks. This is not your run of the mill dollar store!! They dont sell junk. Its stuff you would go to a department store to buy...at a way bigger price. Believe it or not they even have some shoes and accessories for young girls and teens. This is DEFINATELY my go to place from now on when the kids get those dreaded yet constant party invites. BTW, I brought up that they sell incense (which I am obsessed with...ONLY if its the GOOD kind, and it IS here). They have a serve yourself, "Incense Bar" which I love. You get to pick 5 sticks for a dollar and bag them yourslef in those ziploc type incense baggies.
