Five Below is located on Milwaukee Ave in th west side across the street from Golf Mill. My experience has been to buy some inexpensive earbuds for my phone so I can plug in and listen to music while I'm walking and working out. The nice thing is everything (I think) is $5 or below About a week ago I bought a pair of headphones. The right side got tangled up and the earbud came loose and I lost the price so I went in to get another pair not really knowing what to expect. When I brought up the replacement pair of earbuds the guy working the counter rang it up and gave it to me for free. I wasn't really expecting the replacement to be free, but I do appreciate the fact that they were willing to give me a different earbud and not charge me. Now I know $5 isn't much, but I do appreciate the fact that stepped up and gave me a free replacement. I will continue to shop there when the need arises

Five Below stores are so random. They have a variety of things from T-Shirts to makeup to school supplies. Most of the stuff seems to be $5 or less (well, I guess that's a tribute to its name). Some of the stuff looks to be so-so quality while others looked pretty good for the price. I saw a lot of cheap $5 headphones so I wasn't sure how good the quality could be.

$5 pitcher with stand? I'm sold!

The prices are reasonable. This is a good place to get tech accessories or snacks. The service was good.

This place has been around for several months now and I never see anyone in it. The workers there…read moreare all Korean, two older ladies that are really nice and this one younger Korean girl whose a lot more fluent in English (which is REALLY nice). They have organic lotions, shampoos, deodorants, bath salts, face cremes, foods (some you can find at whole foods, others not, and their selection is minor compared to the beauty products) beauty products for anti-aging and anti-acne. Also they have shapewear, natural hair dye (without all the icky chemicals), detergent (all natural), serums for your hair, spring water facial moisturizers...(Yeah I've been here a lot) I've bought a LOT of stuff here and if you're a member their discounts are major, especially during sales. Member price for a 12.99 set of microwavable/dishwasher safe bowls (which made great gifts) are 6 bucks. I think that's pretty amazing. They're pretty too. And they also have mineral makeup. They carry the brand Wholefood Nutrition...They have sunscreen, powders that prevent alzheimers, assist in diabetes, protect against free radicals, detox, provide natural energy etc... If you want to try any of the products you can, they have a million testers and you can even try out their toothpaste and mouthwash. The special mouthwash they have is crazy. If you use it you can see how much CRAP is actually in your mouth and you spit it out and BAM. It cleans you out so well and it's not all alcoholey. The weirdest but coolest stuff are these glasses of different kinds that you put water in and it's made in a way where it'll give you this positive energy if you drink it. So it's good for your body. They also have pendants and wands you carry with you that do the same thing with the positive energy (all asian stuff obviously) but it's expensive. If you look up about positive energized water and how the molecules look different (overseas in asia they discovered this) the positive energy is effective on a person. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but I'd like to think it's for real. AND IF YOU LIKE COFFEE they have plenty. My favorite is the pansy good tasting coffee (White Cappuccino) which comes in instant packets. I JUST bought a new package which has a ton of little packages in it, and I hope not to drink all of it today. It's truly a delicious drink... I don't know what else to say other than go look inside. I wish they got more business because I'm afraid they'll close down from lack of business and then I'll have to order online or find a salesperson haha.

Highly recommend using these products!

It does now has…read morea newer facade though as the mall had an exterior renovation over the past couple of years or so. It's a distinctive Dollar Tree store though as it's the first one we have seen with self checkout counters which is very handy. There are like 5 checkout stations and 4 of them look to be set up for self checkout. The staffer confirmed to me that there aren't many Dollar Tree stores set up like this. They must do a good volume of business here during peak hours it seems. Other than the self checkouts, it's otherwise a pretty typical Dollar Tree.

Its location sat perfectly enroute to my destination, so I made regular trips to it. Upon it closing, the clerks informed customers of this location on Golf Rd & Washington Ave and best believe I mapped it out being that I am an avid shopper at Dollar Tree. I regularly visit with the interest of purchasing supplies I use daily such as deodorant, body wash, toilet paper and mailing envelopes which are just a few supplies that keep me in-and-out of Dollar Tree regularly. And on occasions I purchase decorations to hang on my door that pertain to our seasons which all cost no more than a dollar! Prior to visiting this location I gave myself a 10-minute shopping window because I can easily get lost in looking at dollar items sold. I also make out a list of what I need prior to walking in so that I do not purchase useless things that I may not need at the moment. The inner interior of the store mirrors other locations, but the store set-up slightly differs. And the items presented are typical to any other location, but as like other stores there is always something a tad different in comparison. In this case, I took notice of the 7 pound bags of 'Premium Ice' inside the freezer which was the number one thing that caught my eye during this visit. Whoever would have thought that Dollar Tree would have access to ice because I sure did not! Never seen it until I visited this location. As for parking, this location does have parking that is fitting to the store yet it seems so congested due to there being other businesses coinciding with it in Washington Commons - Shopping center. Even though I go out of my way to visit this location, the thought of purchasing my typical needs for only a dollar outweighs the extra trip out. And lastly, the customer service I received was pleasant! And none less than good. Thomas G

Google says this is the largest Dollar Tree in Illinois and that sounds about right. They have 6 cashier stations if that's a confirming indication. The store was clean, airy, and well organized. The store was also quiet during our midweek mid-morning visit. They also have a big and convenient parking lot as they are right next to an Oak Farms Market store. Thumbs up!

I went there twice this week & the Halloween section is A-mazing! Compared to other stores there is a lot of room to shop & the isles are not narrow. They have working price checkers as well. Very friendly staff. In the past it was kind of hit or miss with that. My only negative comment would be they need to have more push baskets. They go fast. I always get 1 from the parking lot if I see it. This way I have it ready to shop. Recently I went to a Dollar Tree a couple of weeks ago & they were all out of the push baskets. So I left. Who wants to put a bunch a stuff in a tiny basket you have to carry. I have some health issues & need the push shopping carts. This $ Tree is great in every way.
