Cream of wheat ($9.50), all the fixings and a side of toast!
    Paul S.

An old city like Redlands is bound to have a few institutions, although some have disappeared since my first visit way back in 1990. One-part bakery and one-part family restaurant, this is a classic Americana restaurant. Inside can be really busy, nearly every table and booth taken, or, you might find yourself relatively alone, but that could also change with surprisingly rapidity! I don't think I've ever tried lunch or dinner options in all my infrequent visits, but breakfast reigns supreme here, so there's that. Frankly, I've never had a bad meal here. Service is casual friendly, but slow and steady by design. I've always found the servers and staff to be cheerful and happy. The bakery is another review, but they have lots to choose from across the board.

The wait can be long... looks like there are empty tables but‍‍‍ who knows.... servers are a little slow taking drink orders... it's almost like they forget you are there.. then poof they show up....not only ready for drink orders but to take your food order at the same time.... The bakery items are delicious and they are pretty quick to offer services.... Parking is tough but again the food is good...

The food was made well and exact to order. Love the al dente vegetables. Service has good communication and warm energy. I would recommend faster service for 5 stars! The ambiance was casual and noise level was average. Great perk about the restaurant is that it is connected to the bakery.

Always a good time here. Delicious food, great customer service. Love the menu options here. Enjoyed getting some baked goods afterwards.

Martha Green's Dough'Lectibles in Redlands is one of those places that feels like it has been part of the community forever, and in the best way. The bakery has a cozy, nostalgic charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. The pastries and cakes are beautifully made and taste just as good as they look. I have tried several items over the years, and everything has been consistently delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels like visiting an old friend. Whether you are picking up a special occasion cake or just stopping in for a sweet treat, you can count on quality and care in every bite. It is the kind of place that makes you feel good about supporting local business. If you find yourself in Redlands, Dough'Lectibles is definitely worth a visit.

My bestie went and picked me up a sweet treat. She brought me this delicious treat. I've been craving pineapple upside down cake for the longest. This satisfied that craving. I was so sad when I had to take the last bite. It was amazing. I will definitely go back and try another treat.

My Grandma turned 80 yesterday, and all she asked for was a pineapple upside down cake. I would have made her one myself, but I absolutely had zero time since it was so last minute. I called around to 6 different places, until someone suggested Martha's. I called and crossed my fingers they'd have one. Salma bless her heart, informed me they had a few left and she could set one aside for me. Seems simple right? Picked it up, and set off on my hour and a half drive. What she doesn't know is she helped me make my grandmas entire year. She was OVER THE MOON happy when I presented it to her. She was in tears. Thank you SO much Salma, you played a huge part in making a much deserving woman the happiest birthday girl yesterday.

I always enjoy going to Martha's the food is always so good and the service is outstanding! They also have great coffee and even better bakery items! It's really quaint inside and it's decorated Christmas right now, very nice!

Love the breakfast quesadilla! It's so good! Coffee cake is okay. They added alcohol options.

I came in with my mother in law for lunch on a Friday afternoon one hour before closing. They were relatively busy. Service was a bit slower today. I got the Rod hothead vegan sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich was very good! The onion rings were much better this time than my last visit. There were more of it and the breading was thicker.

This is a must try for all folks stopping in Redlands. With a small town feel inside and great staff, this is a top business for downtown. They are open from breakfast to lunch - they are very kind if you do end up coming into the restaurant closer to the kitchen closing but make sure to check the hours. The bakery was DELICIOUS. They also have a ton of Gluten Free options that are great for folks with allergies. We got the lemon bar, raspberry bar and sugar cookie.... Loved them all!

The afternoon tea was so mediocre. The actual tea, I think, was Lipton, haha. I didn't get to choose. The woman just plopped everything on the table. I could have made everything at home. For two people, it was 115 dollars. Don't waste your money.

Great place to eat..our first time we will be back

The vibes are top tier & thanks Nas to you and the rest of the staff for being so great all of the time. This establishment has some truly amazing souls that work there. Every time I've been and it's a lot, the service has been wonderful. I used to be a baker for many years and I'm hardly impressed with places because I either taste the cheap lack of quality ingredients or the lack of fresh ones. This place has neither. I taste all the flavors, quality ingredients and fresh ones too. I look forward to all the new things that'll come out and the summer Friday nights for "Deaux after dark" I've been to a few and have never been disappointed. 100/10 Mint matcha is my current favorite drink that you can get to go. The staff is friendly and there wasn't too bad of a line on a rainy morning. For paying nearly $17 for 2 donuts I'd expect to at least want to finish them, but I was completely disappointed with these. Chocolate Pecan Pie: 2.75/5 The vanilla bean whip topping is some of the best whipped cream I have ever had. The pecan pie filling is a bit too liquidy for my liking and doesn't give you the richness that I'm looking for from a pecan pie filling. The chocolate ganache tastes almost exactly like Pillsbury chocolate frosting, just with a smoother texture. The donut itself was spongy and chewy. I felt like i was chewing the dough for ages. A very chocolate forward donut. Plum Fritter: 1.5/5 I don't know if it's the ingredients, the temperature of the fryer, or what, but whenever I see a fritter out they consistently look burnt. This fritter in particular was completely lackluster. I was expecting crispy, crunchy edges with a soft and spongy center but the entire fritter was soft and mushy, and did not at all have the bite that a fritter should. The texture is more like a concha, if I'm completely honest. There was no sign of plum, aside from the ribbons of the pink throughout the dough. I don't know if they use actually plum chunks the way a typical apple fritter uses apple chunks, or if they use a plum jam ribboned through the dough, but either way I was entirely disappointed by this fritter.

The moment I walked in, I was surprised by how quiet and cold the atmosphere felt. It didn't feel welcoming or cozy like a bakery usually does. Instead, it felt more like walking into an office waiting room. Unfortunately, the service made the experience even worse. This was my first time visiting in person, so I had a few questions about the different cake flavors. The girl with braces seemed impatient the entire time and kept trying to rush me while I was speaking. At one point, she even exchanged a smirk with the other employee, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I honestly didn't understand the attitude. In the end, I ordered the same raspberry cake because I completely lost interest in trying anything else. Ironically, this time the cake tasted way too sweet for me. I even tried eating it cold straight from the fridge to tone down the sweetness, but it was still overwhelming. Overall, the combination of the service and the cake not tasting as good as before made this visit disappointing.

I hadn't been in a few months, and decided to drop in this morning to eat, have coffee and edit photos on my laptop. During the several hours there, I got to overhear exchanges between customers and staff. The morning shift boys were young, but friendly. Let me tell you, once the day shift crew came on, the energy shifted. Andy, I HIGHLY recommend you replace the tall, thin guy with the glasses. The whole time he was there, he acted as if he didn't want to be there. He was rude, stand offish, and completely disregarded customers. As soon as he BLATANTLY ignored a female customer who was trying to have a conversation with him but gave attention to her male counterpart, I was over it. Listen, I get it, he might have not wanted to entertain someone's story. But customer service means to acknowledge the customer and treat them with respect. I can't even count the amount of times I've divulged in conversation with people I didn't want to, but I still treated them like a human. The woman was visibility upset about how off putting he was. I packed my things, went over to the woman and told her feelings were valid because he had been dismissive towards others ever since he came in. I know you're not going to care about my review, I know you're not going to lose much money if I never come back. But people need to aware what kind of employees are here. As for the food and coffee - The ingredients no longer taste fresh on the breakfast pizza. It tastes cheap and rushed. The iced vanilla latte I had was mid at best, I forced myself to finish it. Which is disappointing because I have loved both for years. I think the young boys need some better training on how to make coffee, but at least they were personable. The young guy with long curly hair - keep up that positive energy. You're gonna go somewhere. Highly recommend bringing Quay back full time, maybe make him a manager or part owner because every time I've been there and he's makes the pizzas, everything is He's a staple, and is clearly loved by all the customers who were happy to see him when he walked in. Also, maybe put the birch back on the empty corner wall, looks like someone ripped it off and it looks bad.
