This Mexican bread store is a hole in the wall. It's a hidden gem! The owner is very professional and nice. He is an excellent baker! Hands down this the best Rosca de Reyes aka king bread I have had in the USA. The bread is not over sweetened, buttery and soft. This is my third time visiting this bread shop. The conchas here are so good I had to update the review to ask why you haven't shown up yet to get yours? I have brought their conchitas to numerous gatherings, and everyone says the same thing: "WHERE DID YOU GET THESE?" You've got to figure out when their next batch comes out and buy one fresh out of the oven. They melt in your mouth. They use real ingredients and take their time here... and it shows! The nicest people run this tiny bakery and they produce the most delicious pan dulce. Their conchitas are perfect size, soft and pillowy and most of all consistent. Even two days later they were still the perfect bite alongside a cup of coffee. We drive half an hour to buy their treats by the bag full. It's a small storefront in a strip mall with plenty of parking. If you're in driving distance of this shop, stop by and grab something spectacular. read more

Yup! Absolutely bona fide 5 star experience. I picked up several cookies, not knowing what they were, and they were amazingly delicious. Next, grabbed a few elephant ears and they too were marvelous. The best Mexican sweet I've ever had. I've tried many bakeries in the inland empire and nothing comes close to this. Hidden gem in Yucaipa. If I'm not mistaken, this is a father and son operation. Both gentlemen are very nice and friendly. My only complaints is that the bakery itself needs a little TLC and they ONLY take CASH. Support local business. I have found the best panadería, hands down. CASH ONLY. Drove to yucaipa and came across La Yaquesita Bakery. I am not one to write reviews but this panadería needs more attention--definitely my top panadería. The conchitas are so soft! They have chocolate and the yellow ones. Favorite one was the chocolate. The bolillo is so good, too! I loved that they have that powdery stuff like a birrote does. This bakery has the best conchitas EVER!!! They run out fast though so I usually call ahead to see if they have them. When they are fresh out of the oven they practically melt in your mouth. These are 1,000x's better than any you've ever had in the grocery store. The owner and his son are super nice. They say they only use high quality ingredients and it shows!! Please keep making your conchitas!! Our family comes here about once a month, sometimes more. Oh one thing to note - they only take cash, so come prepared. Best conchitas in the whole world! I have been buying the mini conchitas from this man for many years. He used to have a different establishment in Colton but had an emergency and had to move to Yucaipa. This is a one man shop, a hole in the wall but soooooo worth the drive out. oh my god!! unbelievable mexican bakery off the beaten path. no seating, a couple of chairs to sit. older man clearly the baker behind the register. speaks primarily spanish but very kind. all of the baked goods are on trays for you to pick. you get a tray and tongs to pick what you want. i regret not taking a photo. i was so excited seeing all the breads savory and sweet. we ended up with two big bags of sweets and breads and only $10.00!!! you gotta go. you really gotta go!! read more

This is my new favorite bakery! They make jalapeño cream cheese rolls which prior to this we had to drive to Azusa to get them. I stopped in this morning to pick some up and they were still warm. Put that together with a great cup of coffee and only a few miles from home, what more could you ask for!? So we took a chance and went here, never having seen it before. It's not much to look at (small shop, not fixed up) but the bread was great! I especially like the Banderias (spelling?), which are the long thin sweet breads, great w coffee. The orejas (which look kind of like hearts) are also great w coffee. More on the savory side was the Bolillo with cream cheese - also very good. Their hours aren't listed on Yelp but the flyer they gave us says seven days a week from 6 am to 9 pm, which is very late. 10 out of 10 will go back again. read more
