I went…read moreto Epps as a gentleman had brushed against my vehicle on the 71, during homebound commute traffic the day before. I went to Epps, seeking a replacement chrome strip, on a running board. When she examined my vehicle, she also sized up paint staining from the vehicle brush up, and asked me if I had a few minutes. She then returned with a rag and container of paint thinner, which effectively removed most of the paint stains. For the persistent yellowed area where the tire had apparently "burned" the paint a bit, she came back with a gentleman armed with buffing compound and a hand tool which quickly knocked that more stubborn stain, 100% fixed. While the detailer I'd just visited (I'll do that Owner a favor by not naming his company), had just quoted me for 3 hours of labor at $95 hourly, Epps provided their perhaps 10-15 minute work at no cost. Wonderful lady, Good People at Epps !! The 1st time I visited Epps was for door bumpers that had the adhesive failing, GMC Dealer in Bee Cave had a cost that was very high, and this same lady at Epps covered my need in a very efficient manner, at a quite reasonable cost. I cannot say enough good things about this kind and thoughtful lady at Epps, along with the other Good People at Epps. I thought it was coolant (which it was) and was even able to find a location where I thought it was leaking. I called Rincon and he helped me diagnose the problem. He could have said "just bring it in", but instead, he walked me through some troubleshooting. He also could have said to just drive it straight there, but out of safety and care for my vehicle, he wanted to make sure my vehicle had enough coolant to make the drive to his shop (who does that these days?). And what a shop it is! Close, convenient, behind a locked gate with security cameras, and a very clean and presentable shop. Someone who takes this good of care of his own things will certainly do the same with your vehicle! He pressure tested the system, determined the faulty component (water pump), and gave an honest, and VERY accurate cost of repair. Everything communicated simply and clearly over the phone. I gave the "go ahead" and Rincon's team went to work and got my vehicle back on the road in less than 2 days! Time to get my vehicle looked at: less than 1 hour. Time to get a phone call with diagnosis: less than 4 hours. Work began immediately (even with a rare snow/ice storm in progress!). And in a day and a half, I was picking up my vehicle and paying exactly what he quoted. His business card states "working hard to earn your trust". Rincon auto repair did both! They certainly work hard, professionally, and with attention to detail. They also have earned my trust. Great work and A+ service!!!

Friendly and honest Jacob drove over to my campsite to give me a jump, and didn't even charge me. He then ordered the battery I needed and drove into town to get it. He even ordered an alternator just in case that was the problem (fortunately, it wasn't). I also had my oil changed while the truck was in the shop. Jacob got everything done promptly and had me back on the road in just a couple hours. I wasn't in a position to do a lot of price-shopping, but the charges seemed reasonable - the cost of the oil change wasn't much different than what I pay at home. Fritztown Off-Road seems like a great small business and I hope they do well.
