I want to be sure before commenting. Both I and my son have been very impressed by Marc, the Owner of Grayline Plumbing! His professionalism, quality of work (including his hands-on repairs, and his follow-up reporting with pictures), his friendliness, and his service cost are all outstanding. He is also a very clean worker. Mark is a very conscientious and holistic worker. For example: after performing a hydrostatic drain line test for me, upon resetting the toilet, Marc decided to go ahead and replace my supply line at no extra charge to minimize potential future leaks! That is the kind of holistic thinking that I like to see in a service provider; I would have gladly paid for that supply line. This minimizes future call-outs. Keep in mind that he supplied this supply line even after he charged well over $100 less than what some other plumbing companies wanted to charge! Many other companies would have doubled the cost of that supply line, if they would have changed it at all. Marc is now our go-to plumber. I was unable to find a…read moresuitable plumber in Hondo to replace the pump, so I reached out to Alaska, the owner of AK Plumbing Services in San Antonio, who helped me with my San Antonio house renovation in the past. He took on the job without reservation, even though it was 1.5 hours from his office. He brought three plumbers with him on Memorial Day and put together a beautiful water distribution system, including the replacement of the water pump. His work was very clean and thorough. He aligned all the piping and tightly arranged it so there was no wasted space. After the work was complete, he took all the garbage with him and left the barn very clean. His work is always meticulous and clean. I am very happy to have him as my plumber. He also brings great value in that he is never too expensive for the work he does. They basically made holes in the wall and shoved the wires in. It was a fire hazard that could have caused harm or death to the customer/family. We hired Even Flow for a previous job and were amazed by the quality of work and great customer service. We knew that we could rely on Even Flow to look at the problem and provide a solution. Eric came out and explained in great detail the many findings of the bad installation. He then laid out a way forward along with an itemized invoice. I appreciate there were no hidden fees at the end of the job. The job took a few hours to complete and the team was very thorough in answering my many, many questions. During the repair, they had shoe covers, brought their own vacuum, and cleaned up afterward. The tools used were put away afterward and overall kept the workspace tidy. They also called 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment. The van is easily marked - a great way to advertise but also easy to identify them upon arrival.
