Set my wife there for them to re-torque one of my tires lug nuts instead they used an air gun and just tightend them instead of using an actual torque wrench to make sure they are up to the proper spec then was charged $10 just for the service which I've never seen done at any tire shop that I've ever been to would not recommend bringing my car here. I had 3 nails in my rear tires this morning and these wonderful people at this tire shop fixed my tires for me and showed me how many nails I had in each tire. They only charged me $50 because I have run flats! They were super kind and I was trying my hardest not to have a meltdown. I went to the Martinez tire shop on Grissom on 3/17/25 to get a tire fixed. There was a screw stuck in my tire. One of the mechanic removed the tire and pretended to fix it. I didn't see the screw till later. the same screw was in the same exact spot. he didn't remove it. as soon as the tire was removed he kept telling me that I needed brakes over and over and over. if you can't even fix a tire why would I trust you to do my brakes? read more

Shout out to lupita in the office. She was so nice to my mom who had a bunch of questions. My brakes were grinding and needed new pads and a rotor on one side. I brought my own pads and realized we needed a rotor. She gave me a ride to auto zone to grab one. It was 100 bucks to put my new pads and the rotor and he did a little PM on the other rotor that had a little damage on it. Really nice people! read more

I've had two flats in the last six months (two different tires) and each time, I've limped my car over to Martínez Tire Shop on my little donut tire. These guys are great! I pull up, tell them what happened, and they get to work! The costs are more than reasonable and the people there are so easy to work with. When my tire blew, I was 20-30 minutes from their shop, so I stopped at a couple places on the way, expecting help like I got from Martínez, but no. Other shops gave me jacked up prices and started in on how I should replace all the tires (even though my other tires still have plenty of tread - a common issue women have with mechanics). These guys at Martínez haven't tried to do these things either time I've been there. I won't go anywhere else! read more

Took my vehicle in for an oil change. They charged me $20 dlls because I brought my own oil and filter. The owner was there, very rude person. He went ahead and appointed an employee who clearly had no idea what he was doing. Long story short, the kid broke the plastic cover where the filter goes, which is exposed to the outside from underneath the SUV. He called another person who pretended that the kid had just put it on incorrectly and laughed. We left the place and stopped at the nearest gas station to check it out. It was clearly broken and put on forcedly. We decided to wait till the next day to go back to the shop to talk to them. Of course the plastic cover was gone by then. We went a couple of days later to talk to the owner, who proceeded to lie and say he was the one who helped us and said the cover was already broken and kept it and forgot to tell us. I asked him if he could give it back, to which he proceeded to look around the shop like he actually had it, and then said that someone probably threw it away. I looked at him and told him what actually happened, he stayed quiet for a couple of seconds, got mad at me and said to go buy one at a junkyard. He did not take full responsibility for what his employees did and on top of that, he lied to me, for which I am sure he lies to other customers. I strongly suggest everyone to stay away from this establishment as they do not have integrity and don't treat their customers with respect. If I could give zero stars I would . I took my car there for a simple tire patch , there seem to be only two employees working there. One with an actual shop shirt that read "Raphael" yes like the ninja turtle. And the other was a guy in a dirty white shirt and blue jeans. We waited inside and then when all said and done I paid and left the shop. Only to see shortly after one of the lug nut studs was broken off . I went back to the shop and pointed out that the stud was broken off. Only to explained that it was not his fault and he "forgot to tell me about it" and said that supposedly whoever put it on before chipped it , and that's what caused it to break like that. When In all reality he was clearly over torquing it with the gun and did not apply the lugnuts first by hand before hitting it with the gun. I mentioned the name Raphael earlier only cause it was weird that the receipt said "checked out by Reyberto" this place is sketchy and I wouldn't let my worst enemy bring their car there . do not come here read more

I have taken my car to Martinez Tire Shop multiple times, mostly for help with my tires. They have always been nothing but kind and helpful with me. In one instance, they pulled the tire that I thought had a problem off of my car but found nothing wrong with it. They put the tire back on and charged me nothing (I've been places who will charge you the moment they even breathe near your vehicle). They are wonderful, and I will continue to use them. Even though I am capable of fixing a flat on my own car, I prefer to go to Martinez Tire Shop because the price is right, plus they'll do the job well and a lot faster than I can do it myself read more

First they Left my lug nuts loose on my car and then left me stranded because according to them they didn't see a broken valve stem so they didn't bother to replace them while they mounted my new tires I didn't even make two miles from there shop horrible service will never even consider going there ever again read more

I have had 5 tires replaced from Martinez. They have always been very nice and gave me the best bang for my buck. I got a great deal on Yokohama's. I picked up a used bfgoodrich radial T/a tire from them. They charged me $65 mounted and it continues to lose air every two days. The tire is an odd muscle car style/size so my options were limited and I showed up in a shiny new car so they up charged the same tire I got across the street for $45. Writing this review as I add air in my tire for the hundredth time. That's the risk I took buying a used tire. read more

Sent his workers to say no twice without taking a second to listen to request to purchase a tire already mounted/balanced on rim for sale... In addition to paying for the tire, offered an identical new Jeep rim as replacement for the Jeep rim it was already mounted on and they could even keep my new Goodyear tire and pressure sensor in exchange for not having the used tire for sale be removed from its rim just to be re-mounted/balanced from its identical Jeep rim onto my Jeep rim. This place is a dump from hell rude and unprofessional. I went there to see if they could fix a possible flat on front left of truck due to a stuck nail in it, they pulled it off and said the tire was too old and because it had a divot in the sidewall they couldn't repair it and charged my $5.00 for labor. I said that it wasn't right that they charge me for service without inspecting it for an impaled nail then the employee got confrontational like he wanted to fight me and said it's my problem, he just looked at the tire and said it's too old I can't fix it, he didn't even try to. Then I complained to the owner and he cursed loudly at me in front of his employees that he spent all this money on new tire machines and how costly it was to calibrate them, like it's my problem that you have business expenses, isn't that part of owning a business? He was cursing at me in Spanish! I can't believe the nerve of this place, they are arrogant, prideful and be lucky if anybody says hi to you; they are very angry people and they flipped me off when I left because I complained to the owner. Is this how customers are supposed to be treated? Really?! Stay away from this place like the plague. Please I would hate for anybody to experience bad customer service such as this. No wonder you see nobody there when you pass by the business, it's just crickets. How they stay open I don't know it's the new blood they come across, they are vampires waiting for fresh blood and the ignorant ones at that!
