I've been a loyal Take 5 Oil Change customer for years, so this experience was extremely disappointing. I brought my Kia Carnival in for a routine oil change -- the same vehicle that had a Take 5 "next oil change" sticker on the windshield due this month. Despite being a repeat customer, the store manager refused to service my vehicle and claimed it was due to a "corporate policy." That explanation turned out to be completely false. I contacted Take 5 corporate directly, and they confirmed there is no policy preventing them from servicing my vehicle. In other words, the explanation given at the store simply wasn't true. What makes it even more frustrating is that the location had zero customers at the time. Instead of providing service, employees were standing around while making up policies that corporate says do not exist. After years of choosing Take 5 for oil changes, this was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. If a location doesn't want to service a vehicle, they should be honest about it instead of blaming a nonexistent corporate policy. read more

First time visiting this place, I found out after I left they installed a damaged part and was leaking oil everywhere. Returned and the manager had the issue fixed and provided me a 50% off next oil change. I went in and was told the manager is now at a different location and if I want to use the 50% off I have to stop getting my vehicle serviced and drive to some other location. Zero stars even if they are quick. Full synthetic engine service. Went back in at 4000 miles 1000 over the sticker they placed on full syn service. They could not get oil filter off that they placed on previous service. It is sealed by o ring on housing not force to tighten housing. They tried to blame me saying the oil filter was welded on due to the 1000 overage on full syn... Yea no..crew is totally incompetent. Had to take to mechanic to break off old oil filter housing and buy a new one. They will strip your locking cover bolts as well.. Go there if you good with half @$$ work. read more

I stopped by Take 5 for a routine oil change and was quickly waived into a bay and offered a water for both my passenger and I. The rep went over options and oil types and well as the usual "here's your filter, would you like to replace it" they weren't pushy at all and took care of my oil change in not time. I was done in less than 20 minutes. At the end of the service a manager came over and asked how they could have done better. Great service overall! read more

Today had to go get mother's car oil change. I had called the number for business but it was to a call center. I asked to be transferred to actual location so I could speak with actual employees. Had the pleasure of speaking with Jake/Mgr and I was asking for pricing and so forth. Jake finished the call with if you ever need anything please let me know! We drove to this location shortly thereafter to get oil changed. Mind you this was first time to go to this chain. Pulled up and Jake and Scott took it over from there and we were out in no time! Take5.shop405 For all parties involved, After returning to Take 5 today to have my regular oil change, I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the services. The Technician informed me that some screws were missing from the oil access cover. I want to explain,I had to return to take 5 after my last service because the access cover fell off, which indicates that the previous service didn't properly replace the access panel, resulting in missing screws. During the inspection of my air filter, the technician did not secure the fasteners after inspecting them. The hood support bar was not properly secured to its bracket by your technician and oil was left in the engine bay after checking the oil level. Despite being a loyal customer and having my daughters bring their cars to Take 5 Garage for servicing, my decision to stop doing any further business with your company will be based on today's service. I have gone to take 5 these last few years. different locations. All amazing work. except for this one. first the guy doing the physical oil change got in a yelling match w another lady while I was riding in. and I was a little taken back. but I had already scheduled an appointment. So I stuck it out. Then he ended up giving me issues raining his voice and a bad tone. saying my radiator hose had a whole in it. I take good care of my car so I told him it better not have been him that did that. THEN he switched it up and said it was the air filter hose. I told him to get it together and get it right. I felt like they were doing too much. I always get full diagnostics on my Mercedes. And I know what it needs at all times. Seriously just needed them to change my oil and don't need a full report on stuff that I know ain't wrong with it. Unnecessary. read more

These guys are great! What a good idea to wait in ur car while u get an oil change. I like this location bcuz it's never very busy ( at least when I go) and the guys are quick and professional. Even though I cud technically get my oil changed at the dealer for a little as less money, I'd be there at least an hour or two waiting for them to finish. So for me, a few more dollars more for convenience and speediness is well worth the extra cost. First visit to Take 5 Oil Change. Before visiting, I checked Yelp reviews and noticed that as a whole, this company gets great reviews from customers. I decided to visit the 9420 Culebra Rd location. Upon arriving, I was greeted at my car by Scott who was very courteous. He guided me into a stall and at that time I told him that I was interested in an oil/filter change with Mobil 1. He confirmed that they had these products in stock for my car. While Scott was writing up the service ticket, Edgar and Mark began servicing my car. Scott ensured that oil, filter, tires and liquid levels were all serviced and completed. Even offered me a bottled water. I was really impressed by their efficiency and courtesy. I love the fact I can remain in my car and actually watch them putting in the specific products I asked for in addition to the extra services of checking tires and fluid levels. They also checked the air filter. Btw, the shop area is meticulous. This place is obviously well managed. An added bonus was that I received a 25% Veteran Discount. Don't know if that's for a limited time or always. I'd like to compliment Scott for his excellent customer service. He never once tried to upsell me. It's this kind of service that will get a "Yes" from me when I need filters, wiper blades or other extras they sell. Professional, and a very nice crew!! I came in for an oil change and they were polite, quick & super helpful, they offered me water & protected me from local bees that were attracted to my car. (the smell of coolant is enticing for bees) They were also helpful in teaching me little things here and there about my car that I didn't know! Overall 10/10 will recommend to everyone. read more

I tried to get my state inspection at this location four times and was never helped out.

I had gotten my oil changed at another location about two weeks ago. While working as a nurse driving to a patient's home, my tire pressure alert came on. I pulled into a nearby Take 5 and the gentlemen there were so professional and beyond helpful! They checked all my tires and added air to my tire that was low. They advised me where to go and what to do. They didn't even charge me for the service!!! They kept me safe on the road and allowed me to safely get to my patient! I'll ALWAYS use Take 5 oil change!
