Took my car there and told them an auto parts store had told me some air sensors were bad according to the codes on their diagnostic machine. Long story short they held my car for 2 days and gave it back in seemingly better condition. I paid over $800 for spark plugs a coil and they never replaced the sensors. When I came back because of the engine light still being on they said I needed the air sensors. I didn't have the money to replace then and the counter guy said there not a problem not real important. 2 days later my radiation leak all my antifreeze and they said we didn't do anything thing to it but they did. They said they held my car longer to stop a leak. This place is super busy and doesn't take their time analyzing and showing you what is completely needed. Came in to replace my back 2 tires and within 5 minutes I was attended. For 2 used tires they charged me $100 total ($50 each) which I believe is fair due to the condition of the tires I had on. Surprisingly I was fixed and out within 15 minutes even though there were lots of cars there to be worked on. I appreciate these guys because I went for a tire change and they found other issues for me and told me about it. They actually cared about my car, and my well being. I know it's frustrating sometimes to have a business, but you can not be mean and and give people attitude, specially when they are your customers. they made me wait 6 hours to give me an update and got mad when I asked them how long they would take to get my car fixed. read more

I got a flat the other day and had to use my donut spare. Worse, I had to tow my car that day for over 300 miles. I never really trust those temporary spares. I have been told that they should only be left on for no more than 50 miles. I used that same temporary spare a few years ago and that time I towed it over a hundred miles. Back to my recent event, it was almost 5 and was concerned that I would not be able to get my tire in the shop before closing. The guys in the tire shop took my tire in, pulled the nail out and patched in about 15 minutes. Not only that but he offered to put it on my car. While he was doing that I wandered in the office and paid. $7.00 for everything. Hard to beat; fast, efficient and cheap. I can attest that at least the dedicated flat fixing bay guys are good. There were 2 or 3 ahead of me and they were in and out quickly, too. Kind of a chaotic scene out front near closing time but they got my tire fixed and on my car in under a half hour. Hello I am wanting to report that the owner, Jaime, of Jaime's Tire and Muffler Shop, San Antonio, Tex is a crook! I took my car back in November 2017 to his shop for them to install ONLY a fuel pump. He called me to inform me that my pump was fine. So I asked if it was safe for me to take the part back to the store and he said yes. He then told me that my gas tank would need to be replaced and I said ok. Then shortly after I took back the fuel pump which only cost me $203 TOTAL, he informs me that I was going to need a tank and the pump. HE purchased a pump for me that cost me $15 extra and charged me with the parts a total of $218.00. My tank, WHICH DID NOT HAVE ANY GLUE NOR CRACKS IN IT WHEN I PURCHASED IT, BUT HIS STAFF CRACKED A HOLE IN IT AND THEN THEY TRIED TO GLUE IT....I took him my car on a Thursday, ALTHOUGH HE LIED AND TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE IT WITH HIM ONLY UNTIL THAT FRIDAY, which turned out to be a lie because they had my car til that SUNDAY instead....THEY NEEDED THE EXTRA TIME FOR THE GLUE TO DRY.... Because of the damage they did to my car, I had to pay an extra $200 for another tank and labor with someone else. When I tried to contact Jaime to tell him about what his staff did, he refuse to accept responsibility for what they did to my car. Took my car in for a wheel bearing change and they said that my "spindle was already broken" as they were trying to take it off, first red flag of the mechanic... I asked if it was broken why would you not let me know? Why proceed if there was a possibility that it would be ruined... therefor car had to stay another day, that's just the beginning the main guy who seems to take care of everything while owner is not there said I'll try to get you the best price I will let you know tomorrow yeah by best price he meant I will do My best to over charge you! What should of been a $60 car fix to begin with before my so called spindle broke would of been a $200 charge if it wasn't for the fact that I called the place where he got the part from after constant back and forth he left it for $145. I would Not recommend this place to anyone take your money elsewhere shop around definitely not worth it. read more
