1/2 rack and 2 sides

Quick service and friendly staff. The food was just okay. The mac and cheese lacked flavor, and the ribs missed the mark--they were drier than expected and had more fat than meat. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but the food didn't live up to expectations.

Martins keeps delivering the best bbq in Nashville. Great food and great service. We enjoyed eating on the patio when the weather is nice as well.

Brisket Burger with Mac-n-cheese

It's a shame. The smell from the parking lot brought us in, but the mound of brisket fat from the $24 Brisket Tray will ensure we don't return anytime soon However, our server has Justin come to our table with some extra brisket and took the time to make sure we didn't have this issue again. On the plus side, the BBQ Beans were tasty, and the Mac-n-cheese was more of a light & cheesy consistency vs a creamy "kraft" style. The hoe-cake tasted more like a fried pancake instead of cornbread. I personally prefer the one from New Moon BBQ. The Brisket Burger was a smash burger topped with a conservative amount of brisket, and was darned good.

We've heard a lot about this place and decided to try it out. Walking in, the place is nothing fancy, a typical BBQ joint with picnic style tables and rustic decor. We walked up to order and the person taking our order offered no help or suggestions on what to order. What we ordered was all good, a bit messy, but good. The tables were not very clean, and the BBQ side on the table was very watery, it was strange. They did come and offer to take our plates when we were done and ask how the food was, but that was about it.

Another Uber Eats order while visiting my daughter and it was quite tasty! I had: Brunswick stew - Nice combo of meats and veggies with a slight smokiness with that BBQ tang! House chips - loved these! Crispy, even after traveling to her place via delivery, with a nice seasoning. A really good accompaniment for the stew.

I am surprised this spot is not rated higher because I thought the food was phenomenal! We ordered Uber Eats from here for a work lunch - so I cannot comment on the service or the interior. I had the half BBQ chicken with two sides ($22 or something on Uber Eats) and it was marvelous - the chicken was huge and flavorful. The broccoli and potato salad I picked as sides were also fresh, homemade, and delicious. They have a variety of sauces for you to choose from, all great for dipping. I even gobbled up the bread they laid the meat on top of to soak up all that goodness. Everything was packaged neatly. A+++ from me for sure!

Forget the BBQ! The burgers are incredible!

We started eating at the DT Nashville location which has tons of history and character then switched to here for convenience. This place still has a cool vibe. We all know about the BBQ, it's great. But the hidden in plan sight gem is the burger and house made fries. Check out my photo. Meat is smashed and caramelized at the edges, literally meat candy! The bun is gorgeous as well as tasty and up to the task. It's the opposite of a dry Red Robin bun. Look at those fries! Very similar to Five Guys but cheaper. (I think Five guys is good but a total ripoff for the money) Service is always top notch here. Great experience overall......

Beware. My gift cards were overcharged. You don't get a real receipt and can't see the extra, but once confronted and reviewed, they fixed the 'error.' Place has really gone downhill. It not okay to serve barely warm and not crispy fries, then when asked to fix, send out disgustingly over seasoned fries as punishment. The chain is good, but this location stinks. Maybe after some turn over, it will improve. It needs to be cleaner, too. Its just dirty there.

Happy to try Tennessee BBQ, my first time and everything was great, the brisket delicious and my friend chicken wings extremely tasty.

The meaty parts of my 4 ribs that was so tough you couldn't chew them. Unbelievable...

I walked in at 6:40pm and was not greeted. I noticed other people came in and were but didn't care really. Just an observation worth mentioning from my perspective. I love Martin's from previous years and experiences in Nolensville TN. I moved away from the area eight years ago to GA and was excited to see that there was one right down the street from where I was staying here in Mount Juliet. I expected the same level of food and service, but unfortunately, I did not receive that. I ordered the four bone rib combo in which you got two sides. I remember the ribs being tender and moist. What I received tonight was so horrible that I could only eat half of the rib. The Meaty part was so dry and tough, I couldn't even enjoy it. I'm disappointed but too tired from a long day of work to go back up there to report it. Plus with not greeting me, they probably wouldn't care. I just don't want another customer to experience what I experienced tonight in food quality....super disappointed!

That is surprisingly hard to find consistently in most of the barbecue places in Nashville. The pork here has great flavor good, but sometimes is a little dry. I love the beans and the potato salad here. The coleslaw isn't creamy, so it's not for me. I do wish they had bigger cups. They are hilariously small for a drink to go with flavor-filled BBQ. This place is not fancy. That's what is great about it. You get a free view of the marina, and after you eat be sure to visit J. Percy Priest Dam. I was in Hermitage, Tennessee and when I saw the familiar name, I figured that this would be dinner. The building itself doesn't scream opulence, but hey, it's barbecue and there is nothing fancy about barbecue, but barbecue is a culinary wonder. The staff here were friendly and the food was good. I went with the pork and was overall pleased with my meal. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Whitt's Barbecue. Go check it out for yourself.

I rolled up to the drive-through window to be greeted by a less enthusiastic teenager who seemed to bothered I was even there. I told her today's my first time here what do you recommend... And she just looked at me and said what kind of meat do you want? She wasn't able to answer any of my questions, and she was not friendly at all. While I was ordering, she was staring off, not writing anything down and then when she told the cook, what my order was, she had to come back twice to ask me what I wanted again. I told her there was only two of us eating and I wanted to try a little bit of everything and she just stared at me so I just ordered a 2 pound meal that came with sides. I asked her if I could get half turkey half pork and she said yes. I ordered beans and potato salad and got a loaf of cornbread. I received the food pretty quickly, so that's a plus! About an hour later, I begin to prep the food for dinner and noticed it was all pork. So I called and said hey can I come back down and exchange this? I was supposed to have half pork half turkey.. The manager on the phone told me to bring the food and the receipt and I could get it fixed, so I drove down there and she tells me that it's going to be an up charge for the difference. It's going to be a little more than what I paid. Mind you I don't even have shoes on, I was in the middle of preparing dinner and jumped in the car to come down there to fix their mistake... So I told her I don't have my wallet. I don't even have shoes on, and the girl never told me there was a higher fee for that... Not to mention I just drove back down here because of your mistake. I was pretty appalled that they took the meat, typically if food has been taken all the other places I've been to have said just keep it. We can't take it back... But we'll get you a new one. Not saying I wanted free food or ask anything extra... But it did make me wonder what they were doing with the pork that had been to my house, opened repackaged and taken down there. So then I asked for more barbecue sauce because with 2 pounds of meat, they only gave me two little shot glass containers of barbecue sauce. She then asked me if I wanted to buy a jar of barbecue sauce, to which I replied, no I'd like to have more barbecue sauce for the 2 pounds of meat that I bought from you. Anyway, long story short, the turkey ended up being dry, the pork was good and the rest was just OK. I spent $73, so needless to say I was pretty annoyed that night.

So, our visit was memorable which is the best thing I can say about it…read more.. To begin with, our waitress seemed a littl1e overwhelmed. She dropped a glass as she was serving our drinks. It shattered, the drink going everywhere but mostly on the lap of my guest. That happens sometimes and I thought our table took it pretty well. What doesn't happen though is we were left to clean up the mess... Our server did come and pick up the remnants of the glass after a bit as well as dropping off a few napkins and a bandage for one of my guests who was cut with a glass shard. She did apologize profusely for the accident and I would not have brought any of this up on a yelp review had it not been for what followed... Our salads came and we're not at all what I've come to expect from Longhorn. Finally our steaks came and the poor guy who had a drink broke in his lap had his steak well undercooked. He pointed it out and the server (not our waitress) was obviously annoyed and took the plate back to the kitchen... What they brought back could best be described as charcoal. It would have been funny any other time but by this point, I was just over it. Finally, a manager came by and asked about our dinner. We told him about the broken glass, dumped drink, the cut hands, the burnt, burnt steak and the room temperature baked potatoes all around. He didnt apologize, he didn't offer a discount but he did offer one of my guest another potato... I go to Longhorn quite often when I travel. This was my third visit to this Longhorn as I'm in the Nashville area four or five times a year for business. I kind of doubt there will be a fourth visit.
