So, our visit was memorable which is the best thing I can say about it... To begin with, our waitress seemed a littl1e overwhelmed. She dropped a glass as she was serving our drinks. It shattered, the drink going everywhere but mostly on the lap of my guest. That happens sometimes and I thought our table took it pretty well. What doesn't happen though is we were left to clean up the mess... Our server did come and pick up the remnants of the glass after a bit as well as dropping off a few napkins and a bandage for one of my guests who was cut with a glass shard. She did apologize profusely for the accident and I would not have brought any of this up on a yelp review had it not been for what followed... Our salads came and we're not at all what I've come to expect from Longhorn. Finally our steaks came and the poor guy who had a drink broke in his lap had his steak well undercooked. He pointed it out and the server (not our waitress) was obviously annoyed and took the plate back to the kitchen... What they brought back could best be described as charcoal. It would have been funny any other time but by this point, I was just over it. Finally, a manager came by and asked about our dinner. We told him about the broken glass, dumped drink, the cut hands, the burnt, burnt steak and the room temperature baked potatoes all around. He didnt apologize, he didn't offer a discount but he did offer one of my guest another potato... I go to Longhorn quite often when I travel. This was my third visit to this Longhorn as I'm in the Nashville area four or five times a year for business. I kind of doubt there will be a fourth visit. read more

Well, the service was great our server was very sweet and helpful. and the restaurant was slightly noisy from the din of the crowd. I ordered my burger medium and husband ordered his well. The burgers were not marked and the kitchen personnel who delivered entrees did not ask and switched plates. Luckily, I noticed before biting into his burger. We both ordered fries and they were like eating salt with a little potato. This is not a one off. We have noticed this over salt situation upon previous visits and it is the chicken sandwich as well. Going out to eat isnt cheap anywhere anymore. Your decision will likely be around, good food, great friendly service and hopefully keep it under a major appliance's repair cost. This is a nicer restaurant in Mount Juliet, but could use some updating. Waking in, the hostess was very pleasant and had us sat right away. I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye with the crispy brussel sprouts. Both were good, the ribeye could've used a little more seasoning, but it was cooked perfectly. We were visiting and wanted to grab a late lunch before going to an event. The restaurant was fairly empty so we were seated right away and shortly thereafter our waitress came over to take our order. We sat and waited 45 minutes until I finally told the waitress we couldn't wait any longer. She apologized, checked on our food again and then brought it out. I explained that we didn't have time to eat it in the restaurant and asked for a couple of boxes. She then proceeded to give us two small boxes which barely fit our sandwiches, let alone our fries. After that, she brought over the bill and explained that she subtracted $10 because of our long wait. I would have expected the entire meal to be comped, but we took our boxes and left. Ordered tonic with lime. Was brought club soda. When I pointed out the error the server told me that they do not have tonic, ever. Why does a large chain restaurant with a full bar not have tonic? And, if they don't, why wouldn't they tell customers they do not have it instead of bringing the customer something they didn't order. When asked how they make cocktails that are ordered with tonic - gin & tonic, vodka & tonic, etc. - we were told that they make those cocktails with club soda. We went to the Mount Juliet Tn location to the hostess stand and was asked phone number which we gave to her and we were put on awaiting list or so we thought. She told us it would be a one hour wait. After we waited about 40 minutes we went up to the stand to see how much longer the wait would be and we were told we weren't on the list. She neglected to tell us that we needed to go online and add our own check-in time and phone number on the website. I think this is a step backwards for your restaurant. There's a lot of older patrons that come in and they were walking in and walking right back out. The manager was also very rude and told the people that were coming would be an hour and 20 minute wait as if he was discouraging them to eat at the restaurant. I don't normally write but I felt that this was worthy of writing a review. Used to come frequently, food is always great. Had an issue previously where i used a credit card here and the card information was stolen and used to buy Roblox currency. My mother in law is in town and ate there and her card information was stolen and used to buy more online video game currency. This is an ongoing issue with this location, management was notified the first time it happened and they clearly did not address the issue as it has happened again. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad with raspberry vinaigrette from the lunch menu, and I ordered the 12 ozs Ribeye with baked potato off the main menu. LongHorn Steakhouse no longer offers its own house Golden Ale brewski so I ordered another craft beer. Not surprisingly, Bud Light was promotionally priced. I ordered my steak medium-rare, and I'd judge it was cooked medium. I might order rare next time. Tasty, fresh and overall good value. I enjoy Longhorn Steakhouse and have used them many times to cater events and have also gone out for lunch or dinner here with friends. Their red rock shrimp, rack of ribs, and ribeye steaks are some of my favorites. They do a pretty good job seasoning the food and the service is pretty good. My only real complaint is with to go orders, they are often times late from what is promised. This happened to me yesterday for a small office party I was catering. The food came out about 20 minutes after it was promised to be ready for pick you, but we made it work. read more

Longhorn is a hit or miss every time we go. The food and service are great at times or it's bad. My boyfriend Adam and I didn't go Saturday because they were packed, but we did go yesterday, Monday February 17th. It was a very disappointing experience overall. Upon arrival the outside smelled horrific like sewage. Not sure what caused that strong smell, but it was unbearable. Upon entry there were people crowded towards the front doors making it a hassle to get to the hostess booth. The seating is awful no matter where you sit, the booths are sunken in so badly. My boyfriend had gotten off of work and I drove to meet him here for dinner. I arrived and seated myself. About 2 minutes later a waitress saw me, got my drink order and was headed to grab me a drink whilst we waited for our food to arrive. She walked past my table three times and I didn't stop her because it was the dinner rush and more customers were flooding the front entrance, but it was a tad bit annoying waiting so long for a simple drink. Our food arrived and the waitress walked past once again whilst handling another tables drink orders. After seeing the food had arrived at our table she then tossed it onto another waiter asking him to get my drink. He did and it was quick. My boyfriend and I always order an expensive meal every month we come, but it felt like such a waste of money. That's how we both felt at the end of our meal and kept complaining about it on our way home as well. Ordered our usual, 9oz flos fila with steakhouse fries and a side of Mac and cheese. Both our steaks weren't cooked the way we like it or what we requested. We always say medium- medium well because depending on the cook you get different temperatures. I could tell by looking at my boyfriend's steak on the side that it was not cooked; Looked light gray and pink with lots of blood. My boyfriend cut into it and sure enough, raw. That steak could have been mooing it was so pink. My steak was medium rare but it looked more on the rare side. Sent both of our steaks back to be cooked longer and if anyone knows anything about meat you don't want to double cook it. It simply ruins the flavoring and tenderness of the meat. Whilst in wait we had our fries, unseasoned so we had to season them, and mac. My Mac was overloaded with bacon at the bottom. I wouldn't have minded it so much but it was overkill. I was scooping it out and made a little hill of bacon bits on my plate. Our steaks came back and mine was charred on the top. The temperature of my steak was finally good, but being as it was cooked twice it was no longer juicy and tender. It was tough and hurt to eat. If I had to describe what it felt like going down my throat it felt like a tough steak and chips being eaten at the same time. I finally had enough and cut off the charred top leaving me with minimal meat leftover. My boyfriends steak was sent back a third time, second cook was still raw. The third cook was the final. I felt awful for my boyfriend, his steak was completely gray all around. Literally gray! It looked like old meat that's been sitting in the sun. He ate half of it because he was starving after not getting a lunch break or eating breakfast but simply couldn't stomach finishing it. I felt bad leaving a $8 tip but the service was horrible. I especially feel bad for my boyfriend's meal because he supports the both of us and this meal felt like a major disappointment. Nobody wants to get off a 10 hour shift hoping for a good meal and being disappointed with the outcome. We were both still very hungry afterwards and i had leftover Culver's whilst he had little Caesar's. This experience really made us question ever returning. read more

Background info - We were there for Father's Day, had an excellent meal. We all ordered the filet mignon- cooked to perfection, tender, just the right amount of flavorful grilling spices. Went back last night to celebrate a birthday. 3 of the 4 adults ordered the exact same filets, but what a difference 2 weeks makes! Instead of nice 2"thick cuts of meat, we were all served thin , not even 1"thick steaks. All 3 were overcooked - medium rare was medium well; medium was well done. The bigger 9 oz version was just a larger 1"nondescript flat steak... covered in pepper that made it so spicy hot, every bite burned going down. It was sent back, and it took a good 15 minutes to get a new one. Everyone else was finished when that steak finally arrived. Our server was very sweet and apologetic. They comped the medium rare meal, as the well-done meat was untouched after the first 2 bites. When we told her how much the meat had changed in just 2 weeks, she said a lot of people were complaining about it, that they had a different supplier and the cuts of meat were totally different than previously. We think the fact that all 3 filet mignon were overcooked comes down to the kitchen knowing previously how long to cook them before flipping when the cuts were 2" thick. With the meat being half as thick, they should be adjusting the cooking times down as a start... and go back to their previous supplier!! This is probably a cost-cutting measure by management, but when paying steakhouse prices for "their most preferred Flo's Filet", you expect a filet to be a 2" thick tender cut from a specific area of the cow...not a thinner and wider slab of something else! If complaints have been coming in for a week or so, why isn't mgmt at least alerting their cooks for correct grilling temps for "skinny meat"!! I should have taken pictures to prove it. I would have given 2 stars to this review, but the side dishes were excellent on both visits, and our servers were outstanding. They have to take the grief from unhappy patrons for management decisions and cooks that can't cook steaks properly. read more

This was My first time at LongHorn steakhouse. I had, had a late lunch so I decided to only order French Onion Soup and a loaded bake potato. My French onion soup had a lot of flavor and a nice amount of melted cheese. My baked potato was a little on the smaller in size but came loaded with everything I asked for. I asked for cheese, bacon and onion. My potato tasted great. The fresh rolls that they serve were light and fluffy and tasted great! The service was good, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. There were only a few people in the restaurant on Monday night when we went, so service was quick. We had Carmel cheesecake for dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was fantastic! This is overdue as, well, life happens. My husband and I went to this restaurant on 8/19. There was a bit of a wait, but we didn't mind as we always love the food here. We sat outside on the bench and people-watch until the app let us know it was time to be seated. Khue Nguyen, the manager, was at the hostess stand and was so pleasant to us. You can tell he runs a tight ship as it was evident in the attitudes of all the servers. We were lucky enough to be seated in Johnay's area; she was the absolute best! She made us laugh on a night after a rough week, gave impeccable service, and treated us like she would her own family. We will definitely be back and will probably ask for Johnay again.
