I was the officiant of the ceremony and cousin of the bride. Desiree and Sydney anticipated every need. There were more than a few times when I signaled to them from afar and before I opened my mouth they were already solutioning or simply giving me the information I was needing in the moment. I have been an Experience Design and Strategy executive for over two decades working with the likes of The NFL and Kylie Jenner. Desiree and Sydney represent what is right, invigorating, and honorable about servicing others. This was the first time I've been to Forest Lodge and I look forward to coming back because your business's future is in tremendous hands you can trust.

I cannot recommend Forest Lodge enough!! If you are looking for a wedding/party venue, look no…read morefurther!! Anthony and Charlie are the absolute best! They are fun, friendly, enthusiastic, accommodating, and love a good themed party! They will work hard to bring your vision to life! I told Anthony I wanted an 80s/90s themed party for my 40th and that I would be coming in costume as Madonna, and he had several awesome recommendations, including who to reach out to to have disco balls installed on the dance floor and how to decorate the space. I also want to give Sean, the manager who oversaw my event, a special thanks!!! He treated me like royalty, anticipating my every need and was incredibly organized and kept me on schedule. I had three different outfits and he had his eye on the clock, shuttling me back and forth on his golf cart to the bridal suite when it was time for an outfit change. I also performed a solo dance to Madonna's "Like a Prayer," which went really well, thanks to Sean being so on the ball!! He moved the party guests from the bar area to the dance floor and coordinated with the DJ so I could make a surprise entrance from the rear of the building! Prior to the event, Sean was also amazing! He loved to talk party details, was super responsive to my emails and very enthusiastic during the planning process, and did the entire set up the day of my event, arranging the décor beautifully!!! The party was a huge success because of Sean and the rest of the Forest Lodge crew!!! THANK YOU for helping me make my dream of an 80s/90s themed party a reality!!!

Plenty of parking, nice comfy welcoming vibe from entry throughout the delicious meal. We had the friendliest, warm, funny gracious server. Sadly, I forgot her name, but she is from the Dom. A lovely, roomy spot with modern rustic feels, lots of wood, and plenty of parking. Uneven food. We…read morehad reservations for a group of 11 for lunch to celebrate my niece's First Communion, and our table was ready when we arrived. The strongest parts of the meal were the cocktails and appetizers. I had the Crooked Smile with Don Julio reposado, blood orange, dry curaçao, lime, and ginger, and it was really good. We also tried the Goat Cheese Croquettes, Chicken Liver Mousse Toast, Black Pepper Calamari, and Spicy Maple Glazed Ribs. The apps were tasty and easily the best part of the meal. The entrees were more inconsistent. The Caesar salad was skimpy and oddly put together. I had to ask for more dressing, the chicken was sliced large and parked in one spot, and was bland af. I had to steal sauce from some of the apps to make it edible. My husband's Steakhouse Burger was cooked perfectly and juicy, but it was basically just a patty with cheese and no other toppings, and the cheese itself was pretty bland. Service was pleasant but not polished. We weren't asked about another round of drinks, water took a while, and simple menu questions got uncertain answers. I'd come back for cocktails, appetizers, and the vibe, especially with a group. For a full meal, Landmark didn't totally land.

SOMERVILLE: Village Brewing Company absolutely adores their doggy visitors!…read more From their Village VIPs dog menu to the beautiful outdoor patio and the way the staff showers pups with attention, the love is everywhere. Dogs are officially welcome on the outdoor patio (perfect for people‑watching), and when it is not too busy, you might even get to bring your pup inside. Pups have even been spotted chilling at the bar. This brewpub serves up its own craft beer and a full kitchen menu featuring American‑style dishes made with local ingredients. We went classic with the big pretzel, a perfect snack, and washing it down with a beer was basically the icing on the pretzel (okay... cake). Beer lovers will be happy with options ranging from IPAs to ales to a refreshing hefeweizen. Brie devoured the grilled chicken, and we loved hanging out in the modern, welcoming space. Shoutout to Dylan, our awesome server who provided great conversation and great vibes. And a special hello to Justin, visiting from Florida, who has two cavapoos waiting for him back home.

If you're looking for a good time where you can watch a sporting event, enjoy a wide selection of beers, and not spend too much money, this spot is definitely for you. One downside was parking -- I do wish it was a little easier to find a spot nearby. Other than that, it was a solid experience overall.
