UPDATED REVIEW: Burien Les Schwab still rocks! Found a screw in my tire but close to the sidewall, so expected to have to replace vs patch. Also had alignment wear on all four. The sales associate was outstanding throughout the whole process of 4x tire replacement (+tire stiping) and alignment checks. They even contacted the OEM to verify a recommended alignment setting that they suspected was the source of the alignment wear, then called me to bring the vehicle back to get it adjusted. I appreciated the extra mile they went to check on that, even though it meant i had to bring the vehicle back. This team has repeatedly earned my trust throughout my interactions with them. I have been to Les Schwab 10 times in the last 2 years because I have had nothing but issue after issue with them and the work they've done on my brakes. I paid for what they told me was new rotors, calipers, and brake pads - paid an excessive amount of money for it. Now a year later, they say I need that work again and that it has never been done. After being so frustrated with the shoddy work, I went to a different mechanic. He asked me where I got my brakes done. I told him Les Schwab. He laughed and said that they used Loctite on the bolts and he couldn't use the gun to get them off, and had to do it manually. I told him my horror stories and they said "yeah, we hear that a lot." He also confirmed my suspicions that I didn't need all of the work that Les Schwab said I did. He did actual quality work on my brakes, at a fraction of the cost Les Schwab quoted me, and I haven't had to go back every 3 months like I did with Les Schwab. Do yourself a favor- DO NOT GO TO LES SCHWAB. Find a mechanic instead. You'll save money and get quality work. read more

All is well. Just came in for wheel rebalancing no problems everything worked out and I got a recommendation on my front end too as well. Out of the Les Schwab Tire stores that I visited, Burien has the most professional and courteous staff. Lynnwood is a very close second. Lake City--hit or miss, depending on how busy. Edmonds--NOT! Four of the six bays are chained off, and even a tire rotation takes two hours. UNDERSTAFFED. Shoreline--again, hit or miss, depending on who is manning the counter. Kenmore--the lady behind the counter got mad because I interrupted her lunch, which she was eating in plain view. AVOID. read more

Shout out to Corey and the entire team at Les Schwab and Burien. I had picked up a screw on the edge of the tread of my tire and was told it could not be repaired. Because I have all wheel drive. I would have to replace all four tires. My car had 4600 miles on it! I went to Les Schwab and Burien and Corey took a look at the tire. And Ann said he was going to try to affect a repair. Very disappointed with my experience at Les Schwab Tires. The staff was unprofessional, communication was poor, and I felt pressured into services that I didn't need. The wait time was much longer than promised, and my concerns were not taken seriously. Customer service has definitely gone downhill. I just want to send out a shout out of excellent customer service to this particular Les Schwab store. After the Super-bowl win for the Seahawks game, I got a bit crazy and drove downtown in the fun mayhem, noticed my idiot light for the front left tire...There were several outstanding gentlemen working that day--all stayed late after the shop had closed to finish the job on my tires. A simple problem of a bolt lodged in my front tire--all of them noticed the tack in the sidewall of the back tire but I was in no position to replace a brand new tire as I had just done that two weeks prior--ok I'm rough on my Mercedes. So despite their concern, I asked them to leave it in and I'd just chance it home to Portland. They fixed by a quarter to closing time. When I went to settle up, Gus asked me if I had purchased my tires from Les Schwab. Yep! but they could not seem to locate me. After several attempts to find me by phone numbers and common last name, Gus located me and to my surprise the warranty was still valid so I got a brand new replacement for the damaged tire! By the time I left it was 20 minutes after they had closed...they stayed! Needle to say, I felt well cared for by this team. There is a reason I stick with Les Schwab. I need to preface by saying the manager was a real douchebag, very dismissive and wouldn't give me eye contact or the time of day for that matter. I feel bad for the young guys that work under him, they had to ask him permission to even help me, and he barely gave them a response. The guys were awesome tho and helped me anyway, they were super professional and patched the hole in my tire super quick in 30 mins at no cost! I wish I remembered the name of the specific guy that helped me to shout him out, but I made sure to give him a good tip at least. They destroyed my SUV and lied about the problem. kept the parts so I couldn't sue them. If you go to Tukwila or Kent Washington, you'll regret it badly. They lie cheat and steal from everyone and fix you truck or car as cheap as they can. When I reported the issues, they told me, "Well you're not dead". I've been going here for 6 years (Les Schwab in Idaho for 27 years, Ballard for 15 years, and Lake City Way and others throughout Everett to Olympia every now and then). Burien and Ballard both has the friendliest staff (especially compared to discount tires who lied to me multiple times). Burien's location also seems to be the most knowledgeable with every staff teaching me something each time I go in (even for just an air fill or my snow tire/summer tire changeout). Prices are much better than my Lincoln or Mercedes dealerships for my tires but that might be a given. Actually even for my Chevy pickup Les Schwab is cheaper and considerably friendlier than Chevy (reliable trucks but I grit my teeth every time I go there). I digress. This Les Schwab location is the best! Either plan ahead (don't come in during inclement weather) or plan to hang for 3+ (+/-) hours; Plan ahead or have realistic expectations and you're golden - if you don't, you're only wasting your own time bub. read more

Not only are they overpriced, they're also inept. I brought in a new tire to be put on my wheel, which they charge $56 for. The next day, I had the other three put on at Discount Tire down the street and was elated to find out they only charge $76 for THREE. As I'm driving home, I notice my tires making a horrible screeching sound and gritting feeling when backing up and turning; upon inspecting the tires, I realized that the ONE Les Schwab had put on was inside out (they're directional tires). Aren't they supposed to be tire experts? It doesn't even take a genius to see the all caps OUTSIDE label on one side and the bright yellow indicator stripe. When I brought it back in to be fixed, they wanted me to leave the car! I told them I was unwilling to do that seems how it was their mistake. I bought new tires from LS in May 2023. Recently I noticed a slow leak in my right rear tire. I took it to LS Burien and was told the tire had a nail that was too close to the rim and could not be fixed (James). They said they would order the new tire and set an appointment date of 6-7-25. This was on 5-17-25. On 6-7-25 I brought the car in and there was no tire. I was told that the tire would be there Saturday (6-8-25) so we set another appointment for Monday, 6-9-25. I brought the car in on Monday and was told the tire was there (Corey). An hour and a half later Corey told me the tire was not there and that he felt they could now fix the tire that I was told could not be fixed. Three weeks I waited for the new tire and still no tire. What this tells me is that I cannot trust this LS outlet to get me another tire if something goes wrong with one of my tires especially the one tire they said could not be fixed but now can be fixed because they don't have the tire that they supposedly ordered 3 weeks ago. Corey is the new manager and should not have told me the tire was there when I brought the car in this morning and then an hour and a half later tell me the tire was not there. I'm concerned that their patch job will not hold and therefore I would have to wait another God knows how long to see if they can even get the new tire. While I love the location and mistakes do happen, I feel like I need to go to a different LS location. This is the second issue I've had with this location. I do wish Corey all the luck getting things strengthened out at this location. Apparently, he's new. read more

I came in to get new tires and breaks for my 2020 Ford Transit van. They said ok, no problem. We can get it done today. So I Dropped it off . They called me at the end of the day to tell me that the new tires are on but they don't have break parts for a ford transit van and would have to be delivered from Portland. No brake parts at all in Washington state for a ford van????? I don't believe it. I think they are lying. Anyways. Don't come here unless you want to wait 2 full days to get brakes and tires done. Read all the reviews before you waste your time! Came in to get a tire plugged. This is the only shop that has never had personnel run out to greet my car. Typically you barely pull in the lot before someone is running to help you. But not here. Got a text at 3:45 saying I was next up in approximately 20 mins. When I got back to the shop, they said there was one car in front of me. That seemed to be the standard answer for anyone waiting..."You're next, there's one car in front of you." I waited for 2 hours (not 20 mins) before my tire was fixed. Car was done at 6pm, convenient for the employees since that was closing time. read more

Not sure what happened to their customer service specifically at the Burien branch... it took a dive in my opinion... I bought (4x) new 40k mile tires last year and put 20k miles on over that 1 year. I was shocked and disappointed when I came in to fix a flat as they told me that they wouldn't fix it, I needed new tires AND they would not give me any credit since I did not come in and rotate the tires every 3k to 5k miles.... All of a sudden, we need to come in every 3k-5k miles to maintain the warranty? That was not so before... it seems, or the vibe I'm getting is that they are adding requirements to make it harder to 'maintain' warranty in order to more easily void them... It seems even if overworked and in the face of a 'voided' warranty, if I was them, I would've at least try to offer 10% or some other token gesture to smooth out the $1500 of tires spent this year in their store... just Nothing read more

This is a multi part review. I had new tires installed on my Toyota Tundra on 2/10/21 and they did the work in a timely manner especially considering how busy it was. Snow forecasted here and that made it even busier. They even had to delay installing tires on a snow plow until the next morning. No problem with my tires but here is my issue: I asked about the special advertised on Les Schwab web site, tires and brakes together for $150 off. The person on the phone knew NOTHING ABOUT THE SPECIAL. I wanted an estimate if I added brakes. He quoted me prices including the tires but could or would not break it down nor could I get information regarding the SPECIAL discount. When I went in to pick up my truck, there was no written estimate for brakes as I requested and the woman who helped me said they could not provide it because the prices were already discounted in the system. I do not blame her for this but I consider it false advertising when pricing is hidden from the consumer. How is one supposed to know if they received an advertised discount when before and after prices are hidden. I have been a Les Schwab customer for a long time but this has me questioning their truth in advertising. read more

Went in for a tire one bolt tire replacement one of my lugs fell out on my back driver side wheel. Salesman wasn't too nice he said on accords it would be 500 to 600 dollars. I went in yesterday due to a leak in one of my tires and I got there at 8:30 am and left around 2pm. The guy said there was 2 screws in my tire but only 1 screw went through the tire. I'm not exaggerating, 3 mins later my tire light came back on and I got it home and the today I came outside and it was completely deflated. I took it to a different les schwab and I wasn't even there for 20 mins. The guy started working on my car before I even got inside the building and checked in. He said the screw the other guy said didn't go through, it actually went through. This les schwab was the worst experience I've ever had and don't recommend to anyone. read more

Okay, busy day I guess, I can wait. 4.5 hours later I don't get a phone call so I called and got put on hold immediately. The answering machine said I could leave a message or hang up so I went over in person to pick up my car so I can go to work and bring it in some other time. I wish I had the guy's name who helped me, because he was so cool and friendly. I stopped to inquire about my tire pressure light. I won't say who, but a tire store VERY close by replaced a damaged tire and told me to drive and the light would turn off. It didn't. Came here to remove a and patch a nail in one tire. Normally I'm going to the one on 4th ave. After an hour of waiting my car still in the parking. I do ask and they told me that still 4 costumers and some appointments before me,and they think maybe will be another hour or so. Definitely will not use them again. Dropped a thousand dollars here for new tires and an alignment in January. Asked for and received a brake inspection, they assured me all was good. 4-5mm all the way around they said. Less than 2 months later, I start to hear a squeal and a shudder from the rear. Take my car to the dealership and the brakes are so low (less than 2mm) that the wear bars are hitting the rotors and they don't want me to drive the car home until the pads and rotors get replaced. Expected more from tire and brake "experts" like Schwab. Would have paid them for a brake job if they recommended one when I aske for an inspection while they were charging me a grand for tires. But since they put my family's safety at risk because they're either lazy, dishonest, or incompetent, they cost themselves a brake job and a customer. I won't shop here again. read more

I called the day prior to taking my car to Les Schwab to get an estimate for repair. After getting the estimate, I told them I would bring the car in first thing for the repair. They stated it would take a few hours to complete. The next day I arrived a few minutes before they opened. I was second in line behind someone who needs a tire patched. I dropped the car and let them know I would be in the local area running errands while I waited since I live on Vashon Island. I requested they contact me as soon as they were done. After about three hours, I had completed everything I had lined up to kill time. I contacted Les Schwab and asked about my car. The told me they were still working it and would contact me when they were done. I was losing my ride and was done with my errands, so I decided to go to Les Schwab and wait until they were done. When I arrived at Les Schwab, I was happy to see my car was parked in front. I thought they were done. I went in to pay the bill, they told me they even hadn't started working on the car yet and were still waiting on the parts. I couldn't believe it! Their response to the situation was basically; too bad, so sad! Les Schwab charges a premium for their service based upon their reputation for quality and customer service. Based upon my experience, that premium is no longer justified. I have had much better customer service at discount tire just down the street. I came in because my back tire had been going a little flat over the past few months so i figured i had a leak and would need to get it replaced. When I pulled in I see my front tire has gone completely flat which shocked me because as I mentioned I brought it in for my back tire, the front tire that had gone flat was just replaced by less Schwab in June and had a warranty so I thought no big deal they will get me a new tire on the back and replace my front one with the warranty. I get a call that my cars ready they tell me good news we were able to patch it back tire (which mind u I didn't want I wanted it replaced) and we replaced ur front one it's gonna be $260 I said what? I have a warranty on that tire it was just replaced by you guys in June? He said well do u have any paperwork proving that? I said yes I do I have the paperwork right in front of me. And then he hesitated and said welllll uhhh well uhhh that warranty's not valid and couldn't tell me why and says he's gonna get his manager. I get on the phone with his manager and it's the same deal they keep telling me over and over the warranty won't cover the tire because I pulled up and the tire was flat LOL I'm explaining to him my tire was not flat when I left my house 1 minute earlier sometime between the drive to my house to the drive to less Schwab I got a nail in my tire and it went flat it was a total freak situation. The manager can't give me a legit reason why it's not covered in the warranty or show me where in the warranty it says it's not covered we go back and forth on the phone for over 10 minutes and I finally tell him you win buddy. You have manipulation over the situation my tire is flat and it clearly needs to be changed so just change it but this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will never be coming back. The manager proceeds to tell me had I have had a better attitude towards him he would've honored my warranty, I asked him so warranty's are based off customer attitudes not just a flat set of rules that are applied to everyone? He started stuttering and couldn't answer me. At that point I'd heard all I needed to hear and hung up. I paid for my tire. I recorded or entire conversation and will be contacting the less Schwab corporate office to get my money refunded and have my warranty honored. I will never return to another less Schwab after 15 years of being a. Customer this location ruined it for me. These are grounds to sue less Schwab on I have throughly reviewed the warranty with my friend who is a lawyer and no where on the warranty does it claim my tire couldn't have been covered. This is the most corrupt less Schwab ever and the manager will receive his karma. I will be getting lawyers involved and I will be going to the less Schwab corporate office so I hope it was worth it to try to meet ur little monthly quota instea of just honoring the warranty I paid for!!!!!!!!! Mind u had u just replaced my back tire instead of patching it up still could've met your little quota lol . Another thing to note is they left dirty boot prints all over my dash and my check tire light came on less than 5 hours after leaving this place. I have never been treated so horribly. I came in before 9am for them to patch my tire. I came back when they said it was done and once I got home I realized they didn't even patch it up and it was still almost flat. I then had to call and tell them, they said they were sorry and to bring the car right in and they would fix it "right away"..... 4 HOURS LATER and they haven't even brought it in. oh and to add, i called over an hour ago and she apologized again and told me it would be done within the hour. just went in and it's not even been looked at.
