Getting the double cheeseburger combo is such a great deal for around $15 you will be FULL with fries and a drink. If you aren't a fan of lettuce tomatoes pickles, I recommend getting the double swiss shroom dijon burger which has caramelized onions and mushrooms. Their fries are also super fresh, hand cut, and delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of their poutine because it was super watery. Same with their chili, the flavor kind of reminded me of canned food. Ive tried their chili dogs on multiple occasions and felt the same each time. Very generic I would skip the hotdogs. Staff there is super friendly and if you sit outside they will bring the food out to you. Overall, very solid burger joint.

We have been to Marty's many times. It's a Fort Lee staple if you have not gone yet. Ranging from combo meals to single ones as a standalone. You can enter from inside the building or outside entrance. Burgers are always fresh. Fries are cut from directly from the potato. Always so good.

Came here during lunch, my friend suggested this spot and I been eyeing this place for a while. I have heard only good things about this place so was looking forward to it. Placed a to go order of the double cheeseburger combo ($15.99) with smoked bacon ($1.50). The burger was really juicy and tasty. It had an interesting sauce, their house sauce, can't pinpoint exactly what it is but it went well with the burger. I was really stuff after that meal. If you're in the mood for a burger, I would recommend this spot.

This was my second time ordering from Marty's. I have eaten a lot of burgers, and I can say that Marty's is one of my favorites. Their burgers are consistently of high quality and have fresh ingredients. I initially tried their classic single burger without the cheese, but chose "The BBQ" burger this time. It was absolutely delicious! The onions and bacon were perfectly crisp, the jalapeños added a subtle spiciness, and the smoke sauce brought it all together. Also, this is one of the few selections that allows a substitution of vegan cheese. I don't tolerate dairy, so this is ideal. The only disappointment was the fries. They were ok the first time, but a bit over-done this time. Their flavor was also lacking a bit. Perhaps the seasoned versions taste better.

I used to loveee Marty's burgers. They've become a bit less consistent with the flavors in the past two years or so. I wouldve given a 5 star rating 3 years ago because the burgers tasted deliciouss before. Now the burgers are good but it hasn't really stood out to me much recently. Appearance wise it's beautiful though, nice packaging and the inside of the shop is nice as well. There's some seating and a bathroom inside. Service is nice as well. I've tried around 5 different burgers, fries & their chicken sandwich from here. Overall, I'd rate the food a 7.2/10

Grabbed a burger from Marty's for a late dinner on a weeknight. It's a small quick service restaurant, where you order at the register and pick it up at the counter. There aren't many tables, so I think it's mostly for takeout. The menu is short. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, hot dogs, and fries. They also have various toppings that can go on any of their sandwiches. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, and they soon called me up. The burger I got looked great. The veggies were surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato was crispy and sweet, while the pickles were crunchy and tart. There were also chopped onions on the burger. The patties were smashed, but still very juicy, with the cheese well melted. The burger actually looked better than advertised! The fries were made from fresh cut potatoes, and they definitely tasted like it. The burger is almost perfect. My only complaint is that the burger was too soft. The meat was flavorful, but it was so soft you could probably get away with not chewing. I would have liked a little more texture and bite in the beef patty. The only things in the burger that weren't very soft were the crunchy pickles and slightly crisp lettuce and tomato. Prices are actually really good. Their double cheeseburger combo is currently only $12.50, whereas a Baconator combo at Wendy's currently sets you back $11.99. I would definitely recommend Marty's to anyone looking for a good burger.

Crazy good! Burgers, dogs, chicken tenders, shakes and poutine. Grateful to be nearby.

Have really enjoyed my food from Marty's in the past, and it's a good thing, because if today was my first time dining, I might not go back! I waited to order while a family of 5 in front of me had questions about everything on the menu and then had to customize everything in their order! Not the restaurant's fault! After waiting 5 minutes for the family to be done ordering it's my turn. Now the cashier has to replace the receipt tape and then reprint the family's large order, twice. I'm ready to pass out! Finally, I get to order my spicy chicken combo. It was relatively busy, but my food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I'm dining in, and it's a good thing because my fries were at best warm, and would have been stone cold had I taken my order to go. I don't know how fries can be warm and limp when the restaurant is busy. My spicy chicken sandwich was a bit sloppily made and undercooked! It wasn't raw and I didn't get sick from it, but it definitely could have used another minute or two in the fryer. There were 3 workers behind the counter. One fellow who seemed unhappy and two space cadets, who were pleasant. Had this been my first visit, I don't know that I would return, but I'll put this meal down as an off day and I'll be back hoping for a great meal as in the past.

Been wanting to try Marty's for a while and recently got the chance to do so. We stopped by on a Friday at around 6:15, and there were some people dining in but most seemed to be getting food to go. Since we wanted to try both the burger and the chicken, we got a combo of each. The Cheeseburger + Original Fries + Soda Can and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich + Original Fries + Soda Can. It's a pretty good deal if you compare it to similar burger/chicken spots, or even Shake Shack. Plus, the sandwiches are bigger here. Hubby and I each went halfsies on the two. I enjoyed both, thought I can't remember now which one I liked more (but it's usually the burger in these situations). Fries are okay. I could probably skip these next time and just go for a Double. We ended up getting the banana pudding for dessert, and that was pretty good as well. It seems like a sleeper hit since people probably tend to get a shake with their burger + fries, but definitely check it out! Tip - there's no free parking, but there is a municipal parking lot that's pretty big

Ohhh Marty's. I should've given you a review sooner. Honestly I only eat the fried chicken sandwich and truffle parm fries here. When you get it fresh (I think it mostly depends on how many stops the food courier has to make before they get to you, so you probably want to do pick up), the fries have good flavor and crispiness to them. They also smell SO good. I have to admit the chicken sandwiches aren't always super consistent, but I'm still giving five stars because when it's good, it's GOOD. And I still love them even when they're not at their best Super juicy inside with nice soft buns that are toasted on the inside - very important detail for me - and hold everything together. Try eating it with some spicy aioli or kewpie mayo on the bun if you have any on hand!

I would love to try some of their other burger options because I'm confident they would be just as great. Onion rings were pretty good and portion was generous. One guy was holding down the fort at the register (Kevin!), and the place was spotless. He walked me through the menu really clearly and even gave some solid recommendations, which I appreciated. I ended up going with the OKC Fried Onion Mash Burger, added fresh jalapeños, got a side of Cajun fries, and couldn't resist the Fruity Pebbles milkshake -- because how do you not try that? Everything was made fresh to order. The burger had this beautiful thin, crispy Maillard crust that you just don't get at a lot of fast-casual places. Not soggy, not greasy -- just right. The Cajun fries were also spot on: hot, well-seasoned, and clearly just out of the fryer. But real talk -- that milkshake? Absolute 10/10. Thick, flavorful, and the Fruity Pebbles gave it a fun texture and nostalgic kick. Kevin deserves a shoutout -- friendly, helpful, and reppin' the place like a pro. Give that man a raise! (I told him at the beginning of April, I'd post this...but 2 months later....ain't too late!) Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out. Will be back.

I really like their sauce too! The chicken sandwich is crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Fries are solid as well. The inside is cute, clean, and feels brand new, with a great selection of desserts and a pretty broad food menu overall for a dessert spot. It's nice to see a spot that offers such variety. Service has always been friendly and attentive, no complaints there! I tried the Dubai chocolate, which was really good, but the shakes (cookies & cream and s'mores) weren't my favorite. I had the cookies and cream shake twice and the smores once. My gf's sister had the chocolate shake. They all tasted more like ice cream with toppings, and the s'mores shake oddly had a strawberry flavor to it--maybe a machine mix-up. Luckily, my girlfriend likes strawberry, so it worked out! We all tasted the strawberry and thought it was strange. My gf's sister agreed the chocolate shake just tasted like ice cream blended with milk. The shakes could be better. I am a big burger and shake fan so that's a little disappointing. Overall, this place is great and definitely worth coming back to. I'll probably skip the shakes next time, but I'm looking forward to trying more of their desserts.

This is another one of my favorite and underrated food spots in NYC. I used to go here so often…read morewhen I was working in the City College area, I think I've eaten at this place around 12 times. Let me tell you, all these delicious food spots in this area was dangerous for my wallet LOL. Anyway, Burger & Shake Co. is home to my favorite Korean corn dogs in NYC. When I first tried their corn dogs back in December 2022, around the time they first opened, I was absolutely amazed. I got their potato corn dog with half mozzarella and half hot dog, along with their sriracha mayo sauce. AND OH MY GOD, THIS PLACE TOPS EVERY OTHER CORN DOG PLACE I'VE BEEN TO BEFORE. The batter to filling ratio is perfect, I never felt like I was eating too much batter. And I don't know what they season their batter with but it's just so addicting. Also, their sriracha mayo sauce pairs soooooo well with the corn dog, whenever I get their corn dog, I would get it with that sauce. However, I did eat at this place since it opened back in late 2022 up until summer of 2024 and noticed that their quality in the Korean corn dogs have gone down. I don't know how to explain it but the last time I had it, it just didn't taste the same as the first few times I had it. It might be the batter because the texture was different and felt too fried. I was disappointed at the changes they might have made but that's okay because this place still has other fantastic options! Below are my reviews for the other menu items I've tried. milkshake: can't go wrong with a milkshake tbh, this was great, 8/10 mochi ice cream: wait like 15 minutes for it to defrost, they have many flavors for you to choose from, 9/10 poutine fries: this is so good, 10/10 garlic truffle fries: this is also good but you will have garlic breath for the rest of the day LMAO, 10/10 bacon and cheese fries: too salty for my liking but still yummy, 8/10 chicken tenders: dry af, 5/10 onion rings: veryyyyy crispy, too heavy, 6/10 So overall, I love this place. I haven't tried their burgers though but I've heard mixed reviews from my friends. I absolutely recommend this place though, it's so affordable too. There's a bathroom, the workers are friendly, and they play some pretty good music in the background. The only caveat I have is that there are long wait times for food, especially when it gets busy. I don't know if the wait times have improved since it's been over a year since I've eaten here but I remember waiting 15 minutes plus just for my order. And if there's a lot of people on line, expect that wait to be even longer.

This place has pretty decent food the price is definitely worth the filling, but there is one…read moreperson I always look forward to when I am there.
