As far as I know, this is a pretty well-known ramen franchise, and after trying it myself, I can see why it's so popular. One thing that really stood out to me was the broth. At some Japanese ramen places, the broth can taste like it comes from a premade base, but here, it actually tastes like they take the time to make it properly from scratch. With franchises, the taste and quality can sometimes vary quite a bit from one location to another, but this place seems to be very consistent. I haven't been impressed by Japanese ramen very often, but this is definitely one of the places I feel like I can trust for a good bowl of ramen. I also liked how well they put together the kids' menu, which makes it a great place to come with family. The interior was also really nice and had a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a solid ramen spot that I'd be happy to come back to.

I stopped by while charging my car and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the chicken karaage and the Hakata Tonkotsu DX ramen. The ramen came with a rich and flavorful pork broth, along with toppings including chashu pork, soft-boiled egg, green onions, mushrooms, sprouts, braised pork belly, corn, and nori. The chicken karaage was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Everything was well-prepared and packed with flavor.

This place has very nice decor and seating. Everyone in your party must be present to be seated. I ordered the limited Chicken Paitan with the sizzling chicken thigh. I couldn't eat and brought it home. The chicken ramen broth was very tasty. My preference of noodles are usually the chewy thick wavy ones and that is not the noodle type here. It's almost like angel hair ramen. So unfortunately it won't be my favorite place to eat ramen. I will come back to try their appetizers as I didn't really have a big appetite at my recent visit.

Marufuku Ramen definitely lived up to the hype! We went on Labor Day and the wait was about an hour, so definitely get on the Yelp waitlist ahead of time. The A5 Wagyu skewer was flavorful, but honestly not quite worth it for me. The pieces were pretty fatty, and one piece was literally almost all fat. The Tonkotsu ramen was divine -- super flavorful broth with perfectly bouncy noodles. The chicken karaage was yummy with a generous portion, and the Tan Tan ramen was rich, spicy, and very good. But the WINNER was the A5 Wagyu soba! It was definitely on the oily side, and the Wagyu pieces were pretty fatty, but the flavor was incredible and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I would seriously come back just for this dish. Overall, a delicious meal and worth the wait.

I stopped by for a quick lunch when I had a craving for ramen while waiting for my son at gymnastics. I signed up for the waitlist on Yelp and was told about a 5-10 minute wait with a couple people ahead of me. Well being it was only myself I walked in and was able to get seated immediately at the bar area which was perfect! I was able to order within the first few minutes of sitting down because I've had their ramen at the Oakland location a couple times and already knew what I wanted. My food came out really fast! It was exactly what I was expecting. Warm creamy broth, perfect chewy noodles and a runny egg to top it. I also love the wood ear mushrooms because they add an extra crunch to a normally one texture soup, plus they are my favorite mushrooms.

Came on a Saturday night at 5pm and it was packed! We were able to seated right away but when we were done at 5:35pm, there was a line outside. We order a A5 Wagyu Maze Soba and a Hakata Tonkotsu DX. The Hakata Tonkotsu was good with thin noodle. Very minimal meat. DX has an extra meat which we didn't think it's worth it. A5 Wagyu Maze Soba comes with chili oil and vinegar. Without the sauce the soba was bland . Overall, it was not bad but for the price, the portion was small.

My favorite local Ramen spot, still very busy and popular(especially on weekends). You can go wrong with their ramens. If you're really hungry, I can recommend trying their Chicken Paitan DX which comes with a tasty chicken leg on a hot plate. Always excellent and efficient service and great food! You can expect pretty quick turnover, even if there is a line.

I have been to the one in San Jose and this is the first time trying the Dublin location. There was a short wait when we went for lunch but wasn't bad. The interior was not huge but spacious enough. Very simple minimalist decor. 6 of us we ordered 2 appetizers, 3 mazemen, 2 ramen, and 1 tonkatsu curry rice. The portion was generous and most of us couldn't finish our plates. I liked the texture of the mazemen and both the chicken karaage and ika appetizers were quite good. I do want to mention a couple of areas they could have done better. With the Wagyu mazemen, overall it was very tasty and good, but out of just maybe 6 pieces of Wagyu beef, mine had one piece was mostly fat. I know Wagyu can be fatty and I enjoy some fat but this was basically a piece of fat with a little bit of meat. And the other thing is we had to ask for service several times including for water and to go boxes, while it wasn't that busy. The food is tasty here but it's also on the pricy side. Once in a while is okay.

Food: first time trying Marufuku! Personally I like lighter but flavorful broth, which their paitan is thicker than I expected. However, overall the flavors are good and their limited maze noodles are especially tasty! It's only available here so you must give it a try! Service: very friendly and helpful staff. Ambiance: clean and casual. Quiet most of the time so it's a good place to catch up in a small group and enjoy a quick meal of ramen!

Five stars. Amazing service is first. Even though we came in 15 min before closing usually when the kitchen closes, they still accepted us and took the time to explain the menu. The ramen as usually was delicious. Ingredients aplenty and broth was savory. The volume wasn't too bad so it's a great place to have a convo. The space they took over was renovated beautifully as well. Parking is also plenty as you can park in the back. One of the best Marufuku branches out t

Delicious. Taste just as good as japantown albeit quieter and staff in not such a rush. Came here in two separate days. Tried the paitan, tonkatsu, and the Wagyu dry noodles. Also had the Wagyu skewer. Paitan is my favorite with whatever that red powder was. Tonkatsu a second. Wagyu eh. Tender and juicy but honestly it's not it. Would rather you use salt and pepper instead of that house teriyaki sauce. Nonetheless. I enjoyed it and am glad I don't have to drive too far for great ramen.

Average food, not as good as expected but really nice interior, bathroom, and dishes and excellent kids menu. Therefore 4 stars. Friendly and attentive service at first, later on less attentive. (3 star food, 5 star interior, 4 star service) Kids menu very good $10 for a choice of small bowl of ramen vs chasu rice bowl, karaage chicken 2 piece, handful of fries (ok), honest juice box, pineapple jelly dessert. And gatcha coin! Free toy bracelets and cars. Katsu curry- crispy pork Katsu with nice creamy Japanese curry and perfect short grain rice with fukushinzuke. 5/5 Gyoza - great, not deep fried, very juicy and classic Japanese taste. Perfect sauce 5/5 Salad - disappointingly bland. Had a small bug in my salad which was fine, but the flavor was just ok. Had cut bell peppers, half tomatoes, and onions. 3/5 comes with a sweet plum dressing and tuna broth soy dressing. Tonkotsu broth- disappointing bland. Needs more flavor. 2/5 Karaage - dry and not flavorful. 1/5

I recently tried Marufuku Ramen in Walnut Creek, so I didn't feel an urgent need to visit the Dublin location. But I wanted to take my parents there, and I'm so glad I did because I had no idea they offered a Dublin exclusive menu item, the Wagyu Mazesoba, $20 as of July 2026. It's a brothless mixing ramen with chopped Wagyu beef, thick noodles, soft, boiled, egg, green onions, red on, garlic chip, Kaiware (which are daikon radish sprouts), and a side of chili oil and vinegar. This ended up being something I super duper enjoyed. The noodles were thick, chewy, and incredibly bouncy. Even without adding the chili oil, the bowl was already packed with flavor. At the bottom of the bowl was this rich, savory sauce/oil that coated every strand of noodles perfectly. The Wagyu beef was marinated and cooked beautifully, and it paired so well with the noodles. I also really enjoyed the soft boiled egg. With that said, if only they offered a raw egg yolk as an option, I honestly think this could rival Kajiken. The whole dining experience was wonderful because the service was excellent too. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I also really liked the atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant. It felt bright, spacious, clean, and well organized. The air conditioning was especially great on a hot summer day. Overall, it was a really enjoyable dining experience.

To be honest, it is difficult to predict. But my suggestion is to get there early and expect a 15 to 25 minutes wait, depending on the time you arrive (whether it is during peak lunch time or dinner time). Good luck!

A $15 bowl of ramen, with great portion and great flavor (compared to other bigger cities who overcharge and give significantly less)? How can I not be happy? Albeit I am a vegetarian and I got the veggie ramen with tofu, mushrooms, corn, bean sprouts and a boiled egg on the side. I also opted for the creamy version of their veggie broth and loved it. Ramen noodles were great and cooked well too. I feel like I can go to ramen spots who disappoint me easily when it ventures too far out of the norm, and this was an easy meal that was quick, reliable, and hit the spot. I haven't tried their other options though I do know they offer other Hawaiian bbq staples (I saw a number of people ordering those to-go). Not sure how those are... but I'm happy to report their ramen does the job. Happy gals!

Looking at the menu, I know I had to try their signature ramen as well as a delicious appetizer. Chicken Karaage: This was delicious and crispy. 88 Bao Bao is located in Dublin across from SF Premium Outlets, on the opposite side of 580. I was…read morein the area for some Labor Day shopping and ended up here for a late lunch with my partner and friends. Upon entering, the staff greeted us and seated us with menus. We were instructed to come up to the register to order when ready, and the food would be brought out. I don't mind this setup, but since the restaurant is small and the tables take up a lot of space, it can get congested at the front when busy. FOOD - Cucumber Salad - Shumai - Pork XLB - Chili Wontons We ordered these four items along with drinks, and everything was DELICIOUS. The quality is evident, as they prepare everything in-house, steaming and cooking each dish to order. The staff were very friendly, and the kitchen was busy with many people cooking and prepping. My FAV was the shumai. These were juicy and so flavorful. I look forward to returning to try more menu items!

Smaller restaurant, maybe 10-14 total tables. Light decor. With a see through window into the kitchen. When you enter you are pointed to a table. They drop down menus but you walk to the cashier to order. We ordered the following: Popcorn chicken Crab and pork xiao long bao (8) Lo mein Pan fried pork buns (4) Popcorn chicken doesn't feel like they skimp and have good size chunks of chicken. Feels like Taiwanese fried chicken from your local boba shop. Xiao long bao was the star of the order, solid soup dumplings with great filling and broth. Pan fried pork buns, second favorite dish. Similiar as in a broth on the interior but purely pork. The bun is more of a softer bread you would get in like siopao in Filipino dishes. Quick service, food comes out quick, and plenty of portions that we eventually take home left overs. Staff is friendly and quick to clear tables. Highly recommend to stop by.
