    Hot food selection
    Rei T.

Great selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. Along with a great selection of deli meats and they offer samples to taste. The service is pretty good and they are helpful. I stop here on my way home from work to pickup a baked good for my European Grandfather. The selection of baked goods is great as well. It is hard to find good European style baked goods. I am so happy I found this place! It's definitely worth a stop. I have also had hot food from here a few times. Come before 1 otherwise your selection will be limited. The selection changes day to day.

    Amazing!

I stopped in on a weekday afternoon to take advantage of their lunch deli. Some staff may appear cold but they are mostly friendly and helpful. I will be honest, it can be intimidating wanting to order food when there are no names on the dishes and you don't speak the language, but I took to the pointing method and faired rather well. I recommend trying their bottles pomegranate soda; It's really good. This is a market so you can order lunch, eat at the tables outside, and then get a quick grocery shopping trip in. Everything is clean and tidy. I can't wait to return, the food was so delicious.

Cold salad bar goodies! Garlic mushroom spread, adjika, pickled tomatoes, eggplant.

I wish I lived closer to Marvel. What a treat to have an authentic store that offers so many products i grew up eating. I make it a point to drive down 45-50 mins out to stock up in some of my faves, and always end up buying too much. Their delis/meats/cheeses section offers just about anything you may be looking for. I love their prepared salads and marinates - always on point and pretty affordable. The smoked (hit and cold) mackerel is the best in WA. I get some for my dad to go along with beer, and he finds it to be "just like back home". Red/salmon caviar is usually a gamble (not a fan of bitter roe!) so I prefer to get it at Japanese grocery stores. However, last time I selected a jar from Marvel to try on open-faced sandwiches, and I was pleasantly surprised that it matched the quality and taste of what I usually get at Japanese stores. If only I remembered the exact brand/packaging I got! If you're into sweets, it's dangerous not to get carried away when seeing the vast variety of baked goodies this store offered. Wether it's a beautifully decorated cakes, pirozhnye, cookies - they are delightful! Also a great selection of ice cream and chocolate glazed sweet farmers cheese snack. What makes this place even more special is that not only they offer deli and bakery products -- they also offer free a huge variety of fresh produce AND cooked foods. It's almost impossible to resist the good smells coming from the cooked food section as you head toward the register. Be sure to grab some, you won't regret it! I love their pilaf, cabbage with chicken, stewed meats -- yummm!!! The best part -- the staff are always attentive and friendly. A group of hardworking women who seem to enjoy their work and always greet you with a smile and positive attitude!

I bought this Ukrainian salad , I'm guessing they don't wash the vegetables before making salad.

Spring Cake with a capital Yum!

Shout out to Nadia and the Marvel store. Everything is so wonderful here. The produce, dairy selection, frozen piroshkis, the meats, and the sweets. Yesterday we decided to try this "Spring" Cake with cream cheese, whipping cream, poppyseeds, dry plums and apricots, bananas, crackers, and walnuts. It is to absolutely die for. A perfect blend of sweet and tart, crunchy and mushy. Heaven.

We bought 4 pastries, while they were absolutely beautiful, they tasted horrible. The cheesecake tastes like corn bread , and the other pastries were incredibly underwhelming. The customer service was awkward. If you're reading this, follow @eatwithjustinm on TikTok and Instagram for more food reviews

Fave items: chocolate with marshmallow pudding and strawberry jelly (left), flavored toast chips (right) great for salad topping

Great choices of Eastern European food. Wonderful service. Can get pretty busy so there might not be any parking available.

They never adhere to the basic hygiene and safety rules for masks. They are very specific to non-Russian-speaking customers.

My favorites are the Thai chili shrimp & pork bao and their spicy torched shrimp & pork rice. Their portions are generous and they do not skimp on the meat. The only criticism I have is that the bao bun does start to fall apart getting soaked with the juices from the meat and sauces. Food is usually ready within 5-10 minutes. A very casual spot to grab a meal with ample amount of seating if you choose to dine in. There is some parking directly in front of the store but there is more towards the back. Definitely recommend this spot!

I think they usually mostly cater to lunch customers because they closed at 6 PM. I asked the employee what the most popular sandwiches were and she told me it was definitely the crispy chicken bacon banh mi. We ordered that and a spicy pork shrimp banh mi. Both were excellent! I really liked the bacon one more and my partner really preferred the pork shrimp one more so it worked out. Both were a 10/10!!! Crispy fresh fluffy bread. Not stale at all. And about $35 for both sandwiches and a can of Coke. Beware that crispy chicken will cut up the roof of your mouth though. It was worth every bite!! And they were so big that I could only eat half. Saved the other half for the next day and it was just as delicious. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town and it's not too late.
